This was a fun and OTT steamy romance. Normally pretty lighthearted, this story has some grit in the form of a possible serial killer, so expect some suspense and drama. Harry had a bit of a psychic bend and used it both when he was a cop and now as a PI. He knew Megan was important to his case but when he met her, before realizing who she was, he was totally smitten. Megan, a young woman trying to make it in the city, met Harry in a ride share and their chemistry sure surprised her ;) With this great connection, they found a way to keep her safe and them to follow their dreams of a forever love. It was an enjoyable fast-paced read and I loved the epilogue to see their family in action. Good fun!

This book was definitely different than anything I’ve read before. Former cop and now private investigator Harry has the gift of sight. He sees things happen before they do and always seems to know where to go to solve them. The way this lead him to Megan and the way it plays out over the story was really interesting. I liked how it was brought into the ending of the story as well. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was that a few times when the POV changed, it didn’t pick up immediately where the other one ended so it felt like it jumped around a bit. I did like the characters, the story, and the suspense and the steam. Overall it was enjoyable to read and I loved the uniqueness of the premise.

Harry and Megan meet when he’s investigating three seemingly related deaths. The thing that relates them is a winning lottery ticket. Megan is the last person to have found the ticket. He needs to find her and keep her safe from whatever is happening. The moment he sees her, he knows he wants to protect her as more than just a private investigator but as her forever as well. The way that this plays out is interesting. I liked how he found her and what happens after they meet. The conclusion of the case was really unexpected. The ending is different is a good way and gave me all the feels.

This is part of the Claimed series each book can be read as a standalone in under an hour or so with a possessive sexy and the girl that drives him completely crazy. Harry sexy as all get out retired detective but his brain hasn’t caught on to the retired part because he is still solving crimes and working under the radar as a P.I. meeting the beauty who brings out all his protectiveness. Megan sweet, curvy never really being seen because of her curves or her weight, sick and tired of it all she has decided to head back home but running int Harry changes her mind knowing that she may be in danger, he makes her feel safe and he vows to keep her safe but is it enough, who is after her, why are they after her, and can they find happiness somewhere along the line of figuring out what, why, when, who and where?.

I loved Her Protector: Book 2 of Claimed. Alpha male and younger woman. Harry is a retired detective who has a “gift” for solving crimes. Megan basically falls into his lap during a crime he is help investigate. She may be in danger and he vows to take care of her, for now and forever if he has anything to do with it. Megan is tired of people only seeing her weight. When she is about to run back to her parents and Kansas she meets Harry and knows she needs to stay. Solve and mystery and find your soul mate. Sounds like a good day. Harry will do anything to make sure Megan is safe. A great storyline and great characters. I would definitely recommend this book and looking forward to more in the series.

I really liked this book. It was fun, entertaining, and enjoyable although there were some descriptions of violence. The characters were interesting and likable although over the top at times. Frank was too funny with how he reacted to Harry's gift and how things happened. He did appreciate Harry and his gift, he just really wanted to know how it worked. Harry was a gifted guy that sometimes had to deal with the fact that he couldn't stop everything or save everyone. He goes to look for the person that Frank asked him to find only to find out that she's his "one". Megan was having the worst day but on her way home, she met Harry. The two of them shared a great connection. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Our hero has a sixth sense that has served him well over the years. Now it is telling him that our heroine needs his help and he needs her as well.

This is book two of the series, but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required.

This is an alpha male romance with a touch of the paranormal. The story is well written and easy to read with a small but interesting cast of characters. Our hero and heroine have excellent chemistry and develop a bond really quickly. We get a bit of action and suspense, a bit of romance and steam and it all leads to an HEA. Overall, a fun read and I look forward to more from this author.

Highly recommended.

This is the second part of the series. We go along in the story of Megan and Harry. The interaction between Harry and Megan is great, great attraction and chemistry between them. But the relationship or start of it isn't easy Megan is in trouble and doesn't know how to get out of it and Harry does everything he can to protect her. I enjoyed their story and especially the macho Alpha man who goes out of his way to protect what is his. This book and part 1 are highly recommended to read. :Lena Little is a great author

What an excellent read. Harry & Megan's story is filled with intrigue & an insatiable lust that can not be contained. Harry is a grizzled former cop & Megan is a young, curvy woman just trying to find a job. A winning lottery ticket that appears to cause death to who ever finds it has Harry scrambling to find & protect Megan as he feels that she is his other half of his soul. Will Harry find her before it's too late? Worth more than 5 stars.

Harry being a retired cop gets pulled into a very unusual case..involving Megan, a missing lottery ticket and 3 dead bodies.....hhhmmm???

Megan, being a thick girl, was just dismissed from an interview, for lack of a better word, for being "fat". She has no money, no job and feeling humilated is going to go back to Kansas until Harry.

Interesting twist on the names and story......When Harry met Megan....lol.

Simple, sweet and very very fate-filled.

Highly recommend for a OTT read!!!.

This was an awesome book. I really enjoyed Harry and Megan together. Harry knows that Megan is his soulmate but Megan is in trouble and he is the only one that can help her. This was short yet steamy book that has a great connection and chemistry between Harry and Megan but they also get a great HEA after some intense drama and suspense.

I really enjoyed this story about Harry and Megan. Harry is a detective with physic abilities for solving crimes. Megan meets him during a crime he's helping to investigate. He is instantly in love and promises to protect her forever. Megan meets Harry and knows that she needs to stay as he's her soul mate. Great storyline and wonderful characters. Definitely recommend.

This was such an odd story to me. Harry's gift was something unusual. The characters' internal monologues were just strange. "Her womb was thirsty ..." Kinda made me crack up.
