Life has a way of bringing you things when you least expect it.
Finn knows life isn’t fair. At just nineteen, he’s had to suffer through multiple foster placements, bullying from classmates, and constantly wondering where his next meal would come from. Kicked out of his home and with nowhere to go, he resorts to hiding in the local football stadium when the weather gets tough. It’s not so bad though. At least there are coloring books in his secret hidden room that he uses to pass the time.
It isn’t until one of the characters from his coloring book comes to life that everything changes.
Bellamy is under a lot of pressure this holiday season. His team is winning, sure, but his playing hasn't been his best. On the field, he pulls it together to keep his head on for four quarters. Off the field, he can’t find four minutes of peace. His family’s constant pressure for him to live up to their name eats away at him.
It isn’t until he stumbles upon Finn that he realizes what he’s been missing all this time.
A Little Christmas: Finn features a young, homeless boy who only wants to feel safe, a slightly older daddy who has to balance being a professional athlete while bearing the weight of his family name, and the journey they take together to explore what love really is. Expect age play, fluffy feel good moments, and some holiday cheer on the way to happily ever after.
This is an MM daddy/little Christmas twist on The Little Princess Classic tale. Each age play romance book in this multi-author series can be read as a standalone. It does not connect to any other book in the A.W. Scott universe.
DNF 18% Unfortunately this was quick no from me. I loved the idea, and would usually love this, but the writing just wasn't doing it for me. Also, the insta, was even too insta for me.
This is the second time I am writing a review on this book as the first one was eaten by the kindle app.
This story had a weird beginning. I was not sure if this was a romance or a kidnapping. But I was interested enough to keep on going.
So here we have Finn, a barely an adult boy who was kicked out onto the streets and was homeless. He was taking refuge in a room at the stadium when Bellamy, a mega rich football player finds him and decides to keep him.
Bellamy instantly knows he is going to Daddy Finn, and starts doing it ASAP. Which is good, as Finn really needed the help. But kind of bad, as it seemed like Finn didn't have a choice really.
Anyways, Daddy thinks that Finn is his good luck charm so bullies everyone into letting Finn be at every football thing ever, which I guess was true since they won the Super Bowl. Things happen really fast, they become a couple, and then get their HEA.
Outside of the whole just keeping Finn, the only other weird thing was the finding a friend for him. It was totally random and Raymond was not mentioned again until the epilogue. I really hope we get him as the next story.
Urzekła mnie ta historia. Totalna i całkowita bajka. Bogaty mężczyzna spotyka bezdomnego 18 letniego mężczyznę i jak to w święta ... wszyscy wiemy co się dzieje. Odpoczęłam czytając tą książkę.
I mean it's a cute story but not really a Daddy/little one. I mean sure on the suface maybe but it doesn't delve into it at all. One coloring book, a sippy cup, and calling someone Daddy doesn't really make an interesting little book. Especially when you read said book for the "little" aspect.
The story was a little OTT for me. It's definitely an instalove romance (which I don't mind at all) but their whole relationship developed within hours of them meeting. I wish it had been fleshed out more. This author kinda reminds me of Jayda Marx's style, so if you like her romances or super quick relationship development between your MC'S, this might be for you.
This was so weird. Basically you have homeless Finn who ends up hiding out in this storage closet deal on a professional football field and one day a football player finds him there. Finn was coloring because that's what was in the closet or something and the character on the page that he was coloring was the football player that walks in. So football player, Bellamy, swoops in and takes Finn home with him. All of a sudden they are in love and in a daddy/boy-little relationship. It is incredibly insta love and I think the weirdest part about it for me was that Bellamy immediately treated Finn as a little without any prior discussions or information or literally even knowing his name. That's weird.
A Little Christmas: Finn by A.W. Scott is part of the A Little Christmas series by multiple authors. This book is about Finn and Bellamy. Finn has no place to call home and one night he hides at a storage closet at the stadium. That is where Bellamy, a football player finds him....
I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, cute, full of feels and very well written. I really hope for more stories in this world, Aries and Raymond for example 😁
Love At first sight Finn has had a tough life in and out of foster care. When he became 18 his foster carers kicked him out knowing he had nowhere to go. After living in the streets a kind security guard gave him a key to a closet in the stadium where he would be safe and dry. Bellamy has had a privileged life, but is down to earth. He was wandering around the stadium after a game trying to have give minute peace. Where he finds Finn in the closet colouring. He is so enamoured by him he offers to takes him home. Everything happens so fast. Finn is the missing piece in Bellamy's life and Bellamy is what Finn has longed for, to feel safe, protected and loved. Absolutely loved this story,
I absolutely loved A Little Christmas: Finn by A.W. Scott! This book had everything I adore—sweetness, fluff, and a swoony romance that melted my heart. Finn and Bellamy's dynamic was so wholesome and endearing, and I adored how safe, loved, and cherished Finn felt with his Daddy. Their connection was instant yet genuine, and every interaction between them was just so precious. 🥹 💕
The story was drama-free, straightforward, and full of warmth-just pure, feel-good love. 🎄☃️

Even though I enjoyed the story, the sad truth is, Finn's story isn't make-believe. Our foster system here in the US can really drop the ball sometimes. I fear more than we actually know... grrr
Finn and Bellamy are perfect for each other, but other than them both having a loving, giving nature, I am not sure why. The story seems to bounce around a bit and I kept noticing small pieces of information missing or an unusually weird situation would pop up. Example: The Raymond issue. I needed more story and less football... just sayin'!
We were left with a few loose threads and a few unanswered questions, which is not always a good thing, nor is it necessarily a bad thing... just a bit annoying. Like, I would have loved to have learned more about Royce and I really couldn't figure out why the author gave Jake the "attitude of a two-year-old... 🤦♀️
3.5/5. Highlights may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.
Content Warnings for book: Homelessness, reference to parental abuse
Kink: Daddy kink, age play
A Little Christmas: Finn was a cute instalove Christmas romance, featuring a near 24/7 dynamic and little angst.
I think something to keep in note that romances like this feature some serious topics (child abuse, orphanhood, houselessness) and wrap it in such an adorable bow that it can feel very wish fullfilment-y, and may mishandle these topics. There was a huge amount of power dynamics in this romance (age gap, rich/poor, celebrity/average, kink-experienced/kink newbie) that it could honestly be a very dangerous encounter. I did enjoy this romance, but it's just something that sat in the back of my mind as I read this.
If you enjoy Daddy/little interactions, hurt/comfort, and a little who is in little mode most of the time, I think this book is for you!
I’m not going to rate this. I only made it to 56% before throwing in the towel. I just couldn’t. It was too….very thing. Too over the top, too Insta-lovey, and really unrealistic. This just didn’t work for me.
KU, book in a series, contemporary, Daddy kink, learning how to be a little, football player finds homeless teen and sparks fly. This is crazy wholesome.
Main Characters: Bellamy: 29M, Professional football player, Daddy, Protective and kind Finn: 19M, Homeless previous foster kid, Little One, Shy and vulnerable
”Green wasn’t always my favorite color.” “Your eyes,” he whispers. “I like the green like your eyes.” - Finn
This story started like someone found an abandoned kitten outside and decided to take them home and keep them. But it was consensual on both ends so that’s fine. LOL. Bellamy had been having a hard time with his profession and life. It’s hard to be a Daddy while being in the public eye. NDA’s would be so burdensome to fill out whenever the mood struck! Luckily he was able to find his very own sweet boy out in the wild. Poor Finn was down on his luck due to the foster care system and a string of neglectful foster families, the final one which kicked him to the curb as soon as he came of age without anything to go on.
No one will hire me without an address. I can’t rent an apartment without money. And I can’t get money without a job. - Finn
^^ A cycle meant to keep people where they are if you ask me. He needed something or rather someone to step in and help save him from this. After being rescued and/or taken by Bellamy, Finn began a journey to learning his own value and what it felt like to be loved. This book was a MAJOR insta love plot. Finn was very shy and was obviously a Little whether he knew what that was or not, and it called out to Bellamy’s Daddy side.
But it’s been so long since I’ve been safe. Since I’ve had someone who cared about me enough to try to help. I couldn’t hold it back. - Finn
After going back and forth, Finn is finally safe and gets an idea of how much he means to Bellamy while also being the world’s cutest good luck charm. Bellamy had no doubts that Finn was it, he was the one. He didn’t need to be concerned about being used by Finn in any way and could pamper him and keep him close at all times. After winning games, meeting the Bellports, and making many new friends, Finn and Bellamy find the love they always deserved.
”Doesn’t know a thing about football? He’s perfect.” - Bellamy
This book is the definition of Insta Love and major fluff. The most conflict we see is Finn doubting his self worth and his former foster family which was turned down by Bellamy so fast. If you’re looking for a book you don’t have to think too hard about or work hard for the HEA give this a read! I come back to this when I need to put a smile on my face and I’m sure you will too. The other books in the Bellport series are also worth a read! I definitely enjoyed them and will visit them again.
”It’s an emerald. I know how much you love the color green” - Bellamy
I really enjoyed this little escape into a world with no conflict or angst. It's super fluffy with little depth into either MC's backgrounds other than Finn's time in foster care. I mean, Bell doesn't even ask him his age. But it was exactly what I was in the mood for. It's a great little pallet cleanser.
This book is also light on regression and kink. There is some talk, but not a lot on page. Finn is learning what he likes, and since the story is so short, it basically just skims the surface of his little side. Honestly, there isn't any regression in this book. It's more of Finn acting small, shy, innocent. And those are things he truly is. He's very honest in his demeanor. I'd think if we ever saw more of this couple, Finn would be considered a fluid little.
There needs to be better editing. Much better. There are lots of little errors throughout. And, there are a few questionable word choices/phrases. For example, the way "empathy" is used here isn't correct. It should be "sympathy." Empathy implies that the person can relate because they've experienced something similar, which is not the case between Bell and Finn. Furthermore, when Finn thinks Bell's mom has a "slip of the tongue," what he should have thought was a coincidence. He's wondering if she knows about his and Bell's dynamic when she calls him a boy, and he thinks, "does she know, or was it a slip of the tongue?" Well, that phrase infers that she does know and accidentally lets it slip that she does. However, I do like the writing style. Most books I read are written in past tense, so me liking one in present is rare, because it can be jarring. So, points to the author for that.
I'd read more from this author for sure. I just hope the editing improves significantly.
Finn is just nineteen and has had to suffer through multiple foster placements, bullying from classmates and constant wondering where his next meal will come from. Kicked out of his home and with nowhere to go, he resorts to hiding in a local football stadium when the weather gets tough plus there are colouring books in his secret hidden room which passes the time. When one of the characters in the colouring book comes to life everything changes. Bellamy is under a lot of pressure as his team is winning but his own playing has not been his best. On the field, he can keep his head on for the four quarters but his family is constantly pressuring him to live up to their name. Then he stumbles upon Finn and realises what he has been missing when he realises that Finn is a Little and that he has a need to protect him and be his Daddy. Can Bellamy balance his playing life and the life of caring for Finn while they discover what love really is?
I loved this story with a Little who had been abandoned and pushed away for his whole life and Bellamy who was fortunate but had all the pressures of his sport and his family. With Finn, he could take care of him, and help him to become something and they could develop a relationship with each other. I loved the way that he did everything that he could to protect Finn as well as the way that he was included in his sporting life (which then proved that he was an incentive to do well). Bellamy's family were intense but his Mum was just SO nice and I loved the way that she included Finn in the family. A great HEA that will definitely make you sigh. There is mature MM content in this BSDM like DDLB type story. This novella is part of the A Little Christmas series where the stories are all stand-alone and can be read in any order.
I know this author is really not my cup of tea and to be honest, the whole series of these books with the person being kicked out of a foster home of some sort and rescued just really didn't jive with me. I did appreciate that in this one it kind of glosses over the lead-up to him being homeless. I know these are insta-love but Bellamy, a professional football player who goes from basically in the closet to kissing and cuddling and practically carrying Finn around seemed very out of character and to be honest, his need to have Finn with him 24/7 (at practice, games, etc) was kind of creepy. So I didn't love it, but it was fine for what it was, insta-love littles.
Aww! This was a sweet, rags to riches story. Finn is an adorable little that found himself homeless when he was kicked out of his foster home when he turned 18. Bellamy is a famous football player that has lost his spark. Meeting by chance changed both of their lives for the better. I loved how they met, so cute! A wonderful holiday story filled with sweetness, fun characters, and a great plot. I could see many more stories in this world, especially Aries.
Finn hasn't had it easy. Raised in foster care and kicked out of his last home the day he turned 18, he's doing the best he can. Found hiding in a storage room by Quarterback and star player, Bellamy, Finn is wisked into a new world. Bell is a Daddy. And he's found his little. And nothing is going to get in the way of making him his. Fast paced, enjoyable. There's little dwelling on the angst. It's all about giving Finn the life he deserves. Le sigh!
I love how Finn in doing his best to take care of himself but life is just knocking him down. He seems to be at such a low moment and then there is Bell like he stepped out of the coloring book. I love how caring Bellamy is. I also love his own family. This is a sweet story of two people finding what they weren't even looking for. I made a playlist from the list of songs the author had a the beginning of the story and enjoyed listening to it on my walk while reading the book.
Oh wow! This book is absolute perfection. The story from start to finish was amazing. I loved Finn and Bell. Finn is so sweet, I just want to keep him forever. This book has everything you need in a amazing book, so much love, steamy times and so much sweetness. I loved the insta love and no angst. Please write many, many more of these books.
I’m very selective of which books with sports characters I’ll read. But with this being an A. W. Scott book and having a little there was no way I wasn’t going to read it. Finn is so cute and sweet. He hooked Bellamy instantly. I’d love to see more of the side characters too. Such a wonderful sweet read.
This was a short sweet, story about a homeless young man who is hiding in the stadium and the football player who finds him and falls for him. Bellamy has a great family, and a fun best friend who all welcome Finn I to their ranks. The HEA is sweet, and I really hope Aries and Raymond have a story soon!
Definitely and insta”love” story but it was an fun read! I loved that both were “learning” about daddy/little relationship although Bell had done research and knew more.
They just worked and clicked in a way that seemed magical and sweet. Definitely had spicy moments but those were totally on point for the moments.
This was a sweet, lighthearted read about Finn and Bellamy. Homeless with nowhere to go, Finn has been living in a storage room in the stadium. There he meets Bellamy by chance and their connection is instant. While it is implied that Finn is a little, there is very little age play and the story concentrates on their growing relationship. Spice level: 1
This book was so stinking cute. I adored Finn. His spirit is so pure, and he doesn't realize just how sweet he truly is. As for Bellamy, he's a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Absolutely beautiful to read.
A lonely teenager in foster care thrown out on the streets at 18. No where to go or a way to support himself he finds a place to stay out of the weather that is safe. Until he is discovered. Away he goes on the unbelievable time of his life.
