This book includes three delightful stories about three angels, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy, answering the prayers of humans who are in the middle of trying circumstances. There are times when they find it necessary to use unorthodox methods to bring about their positive results. It is the Christmas season and they are thrilled to have all their projects completed by Christmas day. All prayers are answered and the angels are looking forward to their next assignments on earth.
This is the 2nd time I've read this book. I always enjoy Debbie Macomber's books, and I'm particularly fond of her angel series. Choir of Angels has 3 stories in it:"Shirley, Goodness & Mercy" is the first one; then "Those Christmas Angels," and "Where Angels Go."
These cute and funny stories are the "comfort food" of books for me. This wasthe perfect book to curl up with on the sofa in my PJs, with a cup of hot tea.
The first time I read this book was back in January of 2015, I enjoyed this second reading as much as I did the first time.
What a wonderful book. Three stories, three families, and three miracles. Although the stories have moments of sadness all have many more moments of happiness, joy and love. Reading this book gave me a sense of peace and filled me with joy. I can’t say enough about how wonderfully written this book is. Debbie is a master storyteller and I am grateful for her and all those who believe in her.
This book helped me to get back into a daily reading routine again after a move. Set during the Christmas season, all three stories follow Shirley, Goodness and Mercy…three angels who aid Gabriel in helping families.
I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 stories in this book. I will admit that I cried when I finished the story about the boy and his dog Rusty. A very good read. And the angels are fun!
