The price for disobedience may be more than she’s prepared to pay…
When a violent crime hits a little too close to home, Olivia Monroe’s seemingly perfect world is shattered.
As a killer terrorizes her city, it becomes more and more obvious that Olivia herself is being hunted. Desperate to keep her safe, her already strict husband tightens the reins even further.
And although she craves his firm discipline, she struggles to walk the line between confident businesswoman and obedient little girl.
But her submission is no longer just about her pride. Now, her obedience means the difference between returning home to her Daddy’s loving arms…
Or putting herself at the mercy of a madman.
Publisher's Note: Daddy's Arms was previously published as Daddy's Way, but has been re-edited with brand new scenes!
DONT JUDGE ME😂😂 It was stuff my kindle day, it was free, it was supposed to be a good murder mystery book. It wasn’t It wasn’t horrendous for a book with ‘daddy’ in the title, but let’s pretend you didn’t see this. i need to get my goodreads goal completed😂
MaryAnn (réceptionniste de l'entreprise de James, amie de Olivia) Shannon Wright (meilleure amie) Bryant (frère jumeau de James - avocat) __________
Un petit peu long.
A riveting read that you will be blown away by, the characters and scenario
This is a simply captivating tale as we follow a couple that have been together since they were in their teen, they had met whilst they had been at university and from that moment, they had been inseparable. Their relationship had been simply wonderful and both Olivia and her husband James had a very special Daddy and his Little which had grown over the years and the love they had was wonderful to see.
They had then started a real estate business which James managed and Olivia had become an extremely successful realtor and had just been asked to participate in a interview of the most successful female realtors in their area, and Olivia had been shocked to see that she was on the front cover. She had been happy, proud and then her world had started to crumble at her feet someone began murdering the women from the realtor magazine.
James and the other real estate companies had started to implement far stricter house showing but sill there had been more murders and even Olivia’s best friend had been a casualty and this had nearly broken Olivia, James is terrified and has even started taking her to the house showings to ensure his wife, the love of his life is safe.
However, the perpetrator is closer than anyone can have guessed and you read the story and put the pieces together you become as engaged in decerning who the murderer is. I guarantee that you like me will not be able to put this book down until you reach the final page and discover who the perpetrator is.
I now cannot wait for the second book in this wonderful series, I hope that it will not be too long a wait.
assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
This was a tough reading for me. The daddy/little girl interaction is not for me. I forced myself to finish, and I did like the last chapters and felt intrigued for book 2; however, I don't think I'll read it. Towards the end, there was some suspense, and I enjoyed that.
Look, it was not bad at all - this book just had a lot of really great things I loved to see in a romance, but it also felt a bit too... long? I mean it dragged a lot and things were barely moving and when the heroine is pretty annoying it is very hard for me to keep my eye rolls in touch.
That being said - this book starts with an already formed couple, which was a breath of fresh air, but they are in the middle of a rough patch and we get no details about that and it gets solved just like that and, listen, I wanted to know more! If you have a rough patch that lasted several months you just don't solve it magically and never get back to it? How? Why was is it so easy to get over it and why did it take them this long?
Anyway, rough patch solved, let's get into the nitty-gritty - and the main plot is that a killer is going around killing real estate ladies, and our heroine is a real estate agent, duh. But the book did not focus too much on this plot line either. It was just there... floating around in the background, a thing on the news, a murder here and there.
Bascially what I am trying to say is that this book had plenty of conflicts yet no conflict at the same time. The most of the action is spent following our heroine day by day and enjoying the spicy times with her husband.
The good part was the husband's brother (the husband was not bad himself either) and especially that one scene - more as in the idea that I finally get to a spicy book that features a threesome that is in no way a polyamory relationship or a "let's pretend threesome" as in the third person you just be in the room or whatever. It was a nice change.
Other than that, we have semi-fully-fledged characters, the plot was predictable (I called it from the first page - and I do not mean the obvious one, but the less obvious part of the killer murder plot), I did not really care for our main girl, meh. It was okay. I can't say it was bad either but I do not see myself continuing the series - mostly because I have a feeling that I might not like the husband's brother as much in the sequel and I do not want to ruin that memory (even though we all know I am going to forget about this book as soon as I post this review).
The couple was established. They’d been together foe 12 years. I did like that part, as it’s not something you normally see. Other than that, I didn’t care for the book.
The problem with this couples is they don’t communicate. They’d been having a rough patch for 6 months. If they had talked it out, it would have been over before it started.
I understand the is a DD/lg relationship. However, I’m not getting that. I’m getting a guy with control issues and his sub he likes to spank.
Every time you turn around, the FMC is getting spanked for something. I get that’s part of the dynamic, but just about every sex scene starts with her having done something wrong, so he’s spanking her with his hand, his belt or a cane rod. It gets boring, after a while.
I feel like this couple needs to go to counseling. He gives her commands, and she starts resenting him for that. So she acts out, he punishes her and the circle continues. They just need to sit down and actually talk about what’s bothering them. Nope, apparently can’t do that.
I’m all for spa king in books, but just the excessive use of them is boring me to tears.
There’s some murder mystery going on, where someone killed a female realtor. For some reason, the cops came to talk to the FMC. The reason was because they had met on a photo shoot set months before. The FMC seems to be acting like her beloved dog died, not some random woman she met once.
The characters all seem really one note. Like they have no real personality outside the one role they were given.
This was a new to me author, and the blurb sounded promising. It didn’t live up to its expectations.
This is just another fantastic read from the wonderful Stella Moore who I’m absolutely in love with!! This is Book No.in the Charm City Daddies collection and it’s filled with excitement, a def DD/LG loaded with at times harsh punishments!! Olivia and James attraction and chemistry is evident from the very start. They have been married for 12 yrs and are in a DD/LG relationship!! As their marriage hits a rough patch and needs to be figured out and fixed and it’s due to lack of communication..Olivia is. Brat and James has no problem with punishing her and at times they can be rather harsh!! Even when Olivia feels that the crime doesn’t always fit his punishments!! James and Olivia work together and as you will see she’s a strong successful woman in her own right and she knows it and has gotten plenty of recognition for it but she also is a very sassy brat!! James is a very protective and loving daddy and he’s determined to keep her safe and happy at all costs even when this means punishing his little girl.. when a murder occurs and Olivia is questioned this makes James tighten the reigns even tighter on Olivia esp when threads against Olivia occur.. This book is more than you think..It has another person brought in and has twists an turns . We have the DD/LG dynamic ALOT of punishments sometimes a bit harsh !! To me this was another Stella Moore fantastic read!! I received this as an ARC so this is all I can tell you but I loved this book !!! Thank you Stella Moore

I am pretty selective with the Daddy books I read. I need to feel the connection and really be able to sink into the world with the characters. This author delivered on that and so much more! Stella is an instant one-click for me and this book did not disappoint!
Olivia is a strong, successful woman and she knows it. She’s strong and in control, earning herself recognition in her industry and respect amount her peers. She is also incredibly sweet - but has a sassy streak that I absolutely loved. The banter in this book is perfection!
James had me swooning from the start. He is so genuine and reliable, while bringing so much heat to the book 🥵 His determination to keep Olivia happy and safe when her world starts falling apart was so easy to get lost in. He completely swept me off my feet and I loved every bit of this book!
The side characters add so much to this story without stealing the spotlight, and I am already excited for what’s to come next! I completely recommend this book - Stella writes such fun and unique characters, and her books always make me ridiculously happy even when dealing with heavy topics. Easy one-click five star author for me 💜
Olivia works with her Daddy James and has been acting out a bit lately as she climbs the ladder to the top of her real estate game. When she's targeted by a madman, James vows to protect her. There are a few story lines in this book, with the whodunit, the BDSM (DD/lg), the threesome with ... well I'll let you read about that. The love scenes in this book are SMOKING HOT and the mystery was a good one. I loved Liv's friend Shannon and her on again/off again bratty flirting with James' brother is yummy. I know this is a re-edited and revised version of an older book, but frankly it had been a while since I read the other story and the changes didn't affect my enjoyment of the book at all, in fact I loved it even more. Great HEA and I'm looking forward to the second story in the series.
I received a copy of this book from the author and I'm voluntarily leaving this honest, unbiased review.
I really wanted to five star this book once I read the ending however I had to be honest with myself and rate it three. I understand there are some readers who love a well established relationship in the beginning of the book however I do not. I like to know the backstory on the couple I am indulging my time in and Olivia and James didn't do that for me.
The plot itself was interesting to me, as far as a killer who is killing real estate agents however it kind of bothered me that we didn't get in depth with who it was... Once we figure out who it was it felt really rushed.
Steam wise I enjoyed it howeverrrrr Olivia and Jame's Dynamic bothered me soooooooooooooo much as far as Him being a Daddy Dom and her being a little girl. Im not opposed to the lifestyle however Olivia after awhile got really annoying.
All in all it was a good book just some things I couldn't get down with.
This is a HOT story of a married Daddy/little couple re-energizing their lifestyle relationship. James and Livvy’s work-life mirrors their home-life, Daddy is in charge, but things have gotten off the rails a bit lately so they work towards a kick start. What we get is a full blown graphically erotic story with page burning details. Livvy is definitely submissive to her husband and, for added spice, to his brother too. However, Livvy’s success as a realtor breeds both jealousy and danger. There is a murderer afoot and it appears Livvy is his principal target. You know how protective Daddy’s can be, and James is no exception. Her protection is the key to this story line. Not to sound too repetitive, but this story has danger, discipline, dishonesty, desire, and is delicious and DELIGHTFUL. What more could you ask for? Well there is more, as an added bonus we get the first chapter from the next book, Daddy’s Law. Can’t wait. 5 Stars I received and advance copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
James and Olivia have a daddy/little girl relationship in their marriage. But, their closeness was tested when James started to back off from being a Daddy Dom and Olivia missed it. When they talk, James realizes that Olivia misses their unique lifestyle and brings it back. Then, the murders start. Women realtors that were featured in a magazine are murdered and Olivia is in that group. She and her best friend Shannon, also a realtor, try to be careful, but lots of spankings come Olivia's way. I really enjoyed this book. James is dominant, but he listens to Olivia when she has concerns and discusses them with her. It doesn't get her out of spankings, but Olivia feels heard and loved. The mystery is solved by the end and there is a HEA. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series with James' twin, Bryant, and Shannon.
I received an advance copy and this is my honest review.
Olivia is a smart, tough and successful realtor. But at home she's also her husband's little girl. At the beginning of the story James and Olivia are at a crossroad at their marriage after falling out of touch with each other. But after they manage to breach the gap between them and go back on track being incredibly happy with their lives, a threat comes into to their life. A successful women realtor was murdered and there is a connection to Liv. James is scared out of his mind he won't manage to keep his little girl safe, no matter how hard he tries. And indeed, Olivia seems to be the madman endgame... This book has it all: great characters, ton of steam, sizzle and heat and some very funny parts! Olivia and Shannon, Olivia's best friend, are hilarious together. We also get to know James' twin brother Bryant and get a glimps to his and Shannon's story which will be next the series. All in all, a great story.
James and Olivia appear to be the perfect couple. Oh, they've hit a rough spot in their marriage, but who doesn't? James is her Daddy and her boss, too, so when things are good they're very very good, but when they're not, it's awful. Luckily, they've cleared the air. Now for the good stuff. Someone is killing the local real estate agents who appeared in a magazine article. The police are looking for them, and James is doing everything in his power to keep her safe. When it hits too close to home, will James be able to save his Livvy?
This is a fantastic story, which is not unexpected from Ms. Moore. James and Olivia really are great together. I thought I knew who the killer was, and I was wrong, so there is that too. I usually figure these things out way before the end. I recommend this one as not to be missed.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
The main characters have been married twelve years and are having martial issues due to a lack of communication. The book starts off with the H stating they need to talk about their marriage. The h likes being a brat and the H likes to punish her.
"These were the times when submission was the hardest. When she honestly felt he wasn’t being reasonable or fair, but she had to swallow her pride and do as she was told."
I'm not a fan of books about Daddy's and Little's. I prefer stories with more content then bedroom scenes. Saying that, this book was ok. Not one I'd recommend or re-read.
This book did have a little mystery to it, which helped it from being plain. I skimmed over the many love scenes. Sharing your wife with your brother was also something I wasn't into.
Olivia and James, Daddy and little girl, boss and employee/agent, one of my favorite couples.
Olivia and James have been together forever. James owns the real estate company and Olivia is his top real estate agent. Olivia finds herself being interviewed by a magazine AND she's on the front cover!!!
Now there is a killer targeting these successful female real estate agents and Olivia is on that list. James will do whatever it takes to protect his wife/little girl. This story had me on the edge of my seat!!!! Add in the added dynamic with James' brother Bryant (HUBBA HUBBA HOTNESS) and Olivia's sassy bestie Shannon...this book is just utter deliciousness!
And we get an added bonus of a sneak peek of book 2, Daddy's Law. I can't wait!
I always get so excited when Stella Moore releases a book!! Even though this is a re-edit of her previous book Daddy's Way its great to revisit James and Olivia. The couple are real estate agents who are going through a rough time with their marriage. While they are trying to get back to what they were, outside forces are turning the stress up in their lives. The re-edit hasn't affected the story in fact I think it's made it stronger. I'm glad she kept everything having to do with Bryant, James's twin brother. As she does Olivia's best friend Shannon is a fiesty delight. I can not wait to read her and Bryant's book!!!
I am leaving my honest review for a complimentary copy of this book via the author.
I read this book when it first came out and loved it! James and Olivia were perfect for each other but as her Daddy, he has rules. Olivia may be a Little but she's smart, outgoing and a lot of fun. When it becomes clear that Olivia is the target for a murderer, James and his brother Bryant (I love him) will do whatever they need to protect her. And when her best friend, Shannon, gets hurt, they guys go a little bit crazy!! I laughed, I teared up and I loved the "flirting" that goes on between Bryant and Shannon. The story had more words added to it which made it a more fulfilling book. If you haven't read this before, be prepared for a few little surprises.
Olivia is a submissive Little in her marriage to Daddy Dom James. She's also a successful realtor in their business. They have an established loving relationship that has gotten a little bumpy. That is quickly resolved and the focus shifts to a deadly threat against Olivia. The story has a lot of punishments including spankings with more than his hand. Sometimes they feel harsh and excessive but she seems to like it that way. I like Daddies who are less harsh and don't use anal with only a little lube to make it more painful as punishment. It felt like often the punishment didn't fit the crime. 3.5 stars
I love a romance story that focuses on a couple who have been together for a long time and have that deep love but who may be hitting a rough patch in their relationship, and that's what this one is. It also has a very well written mystery. It's not a fluffy, light read, but it's not dark either. It's a story with substance and it was easy to slip into the story and become fully invested. I like the complexity of the plot and the characters, both. I also really liked the side characters and I'm hoping to see their stories in the future.
Daddy's Arms is the 1st book in the Charm City Daddies series, an entertaining read featuring an already established couple going through a rough patch in their relationship while a serial killer targets women of Olivia's aquaintance. I enjoyed how facing danger brought them back to relying on each other and - finally - willing to talk and fight for their love. There's plenty of acting out on the heroine's part followed by punishments and spicy scenes. Wonderful side characters add to the story and I look forward to seeing them find their own HEA.
Wow. This is a captivating read. I was quickly enthralled by the character dynamics. Olivia and James have a nurturing relationship. Together since they were young. James takes a firm hand guiding Olivia through their dynamic. They work together running a very prosperous reality business. All is great until Olivia find herself in the sights of a murderer. Can James protect her, hold her close, will Olivia let her daddy's arms protect her from the hunter, who is far closer than anyone realises. This is a wonderful story I couldn't put down. I highly recommend it and the author
I've always avoided "Daddy" books because I felt they infantalized and diminished women and turned men into pedophiles. And that's totally disregarding the whole question of incest. I mean, who seriously wants intercourse with her father or his daughter? Anyway, I've never read one so when I found this, I thought I should give it a chance. Wrong! I was repulsed from the git go. It was everything I was afraid it would be. I mean if it's your thing have at it, but I won't ever download another.
This book was funny, maddening, complicated, suspenseful, enlightening and frustrating. I have resolved that the only Daddy I will ever have is the one I was born to. I tend not to obey when told no. Just sayin'. Characters are well described. Plot was very well executed until last few chapters. Then I realized who was part of the conspiracy. If other stories were free I would definitely keep reading series. But since I don't buy books, this is the end of my journey. Enjoy.
If you enjoy Daddy Doms and bratty subs this is the story for you. I really enjoyed Olivia and James’s dynamic. James is such a cinnamon roll Daddy Dom and Olivia is a brat but not to the point of excess. The steam level is high and there is lots of domestic discipline to satisfy. The murder plot was fairly basic and I figured it out pretty quickly but it was believable. I am excited for the next book for Bryant’s story.
