It’s been almost two and a half years since Jack and Quinlan first met each other. After getting married in Greece and vacationing in Tokyo with their friends, they’re ready for some quality alone time.
So Jack surprises Quinlan with a trip to the mountains for Christmas promising a cozy cabin, lots of snow, and plenty of holiday themed fun.

I didn’t know how much I missed them until I had them back! Jack and Quin have got to be my top Dana Isaly couple and being able to read about them again was just a dream come true!
This is the perfect christmassy, spicy, warming book to read at this time of the year and the chemistry and scenarios were just *chefs kiss💋
I think we all want to be whisked away to a cosy lodge in the snowy mountains - whilst reading this book I really felt I was there with them.
100% recommend this along with the rest of the one-night series (and all of Dana’s books tbh) defo got me in the festive feels!
Okay, let’s talk about All Tied Up—I have some serious issues with this one, and a lot of it ties back to what bothered me in the first book. First off, can we stop romanticizing obesity? In book one, we’re told the heroine used to be a size two, but now she can’t even fit into her boyfriend’s hoodie (he’s like 6ft tall). That’s a LOT of weight gain, and it seems completely ignored. She’s described as "perfect" to him, but like… is this actually healthy? The story brushes off the fact that she’s likely really unhealthy.
By the time we get to this book, we’re also told she’s got stretch marks, meaning even more weight gain. It feels like we’re just supposed to accept this without questioning the bigger picture, like maybe this is contributing to her not being able to get pregnant? I don’t know, just seemed odd that it never came up.
Then there are the sex scenes. There are a couple, but they’re super random, and honestly, the descriptions felt a little sloppy and all over the place. Some kinks are thrown in without much buildup, and it just doesn’t really work.
And don’t even get me started on the cover—it’s not one that’ll make you wanna dive in.
CW - restraints, toys, impact play (spanking, flogger), sensory deprivation (blindfold), forced orgasms, light degradation, breeding, hand necklaces, light breath play, public play
Tropes - christmas novella
Representation - mid/plus size FMC
This was really cute and honestly felt nostalgic reading about these characters again. I originally read Games We Play in 2022 so it felt nice to revisit these characters 🥰
Scale: ⭐️ - would've DNF'ed / continued out of spite ⭐️⭐️ - shit, but whatever ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - meh, could've been better ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - lit 👅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - loved it, inject this shit into my veins 🤪
This is the perfect holiday read! Oh how I have missed Jack and Quinn, and this was just what I needed.
Spicy and sweet—who doesn’t want a spicy, snowy escape to a cabin? Sign me up please🙋🏼♀️
You should definitely read the first book in the series, Games We Play, to fully enjoy this novella. That said, the whole One Night series is 💯 All Tied Up has so 👏🏼much 👏🏼 spice! Dang, even had me sweating and wishing I could steal myself a Jack. This couple is just such fire 🔥 overall, this is a very short, extra spicy, and a book you can probably breeze through in one sitting.
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️3.5/5 stars Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶
*I was provided an ARC in exchange for my honest review*
I knew I missed Jack and Quinlan but I didn't know how much! This Christmas novella was super spicy and a nice catch up to one of my favorite couples! I was so excited for this and Dana did not disappoint! I'm excited for Greg's book and I hope eventually we can get a nice thick book of extended epilogues from each couple!
Básicamente es una historia cortita que funciona como un epílogo del libro principal, en donde los protagonistas se van de vacaciones a la nieve. Lindo, cortito, lleno de spicy.
Games We Play was good, but this is where those two really shine. They're really on the same level in everything now and I love that. Also, not a person on the baby-fever train but I liked how this was handled. One step at a time, with no expectations, no predictions.
A spicy holiday vacation in a cozy cabin? Sign me up!
I loved the chance to spend a little more time with Jack and Quin in this latest novella from Dana. It's been a busy couple of years and our characters needed some time away to relax, recharge and rediscover each other. Oh, and experience a fun new kink. It reads like a spicy extended epilogue and I loved every second!
This was hot from beginning to end and that's the point. Merry Christmas to us!
Jack and Quinlan go on a vacation for a few weeks around Christmas to Lake Tahoe. These two have quite a road trip up with Jack driving. He is basically white knuckling the steering wheel driving in the snow. Quin just teases him. They get to the cabin. They have a beautiful view of the mountain and gas fire places in all the rooms. Quinlan lets Jack know that she stopped taking her birth control so they can start trying for a baby. Jack was beside himself and now has a possessive and breeding kink with his wife. The entire point of the vacation was to have Quinn reduce her stress level from her job. She is sleeping through the night and is super relaxed. It was a getaway for the books! The spicy factor was a 4.5/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.5. These two brought an entire separate bag just for their sex toys! The scenes were in detail and 🔥🔥🔥🔥! No doubt Quinlan would be pregnant in no time. I would rate the book a 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for a novella. It was great to get a quick update on these two characters from the author!

This was such a cute little Novella about Jack and Quin! The whole The One Night Series is great and I’ve love seeing the crew grow in their relationships and with each other.
All Tied Up is a perfect little holiday treat for fans of Games We Play. It’s an extra spicy and Christmas cookie sweet slice of life around the holidays.
Jack plans a romantic getaway in the mountains for his over worked wife. He’s so caring and sweet with her (unless she’s being a brat lol which she definitely was but she loves her punishments 😉)
This novella features -Holiday themed bedroom toys -Pushing it back in 💦 -Spanking and throat necklaces (cause a lady always deserves jewelry for Christmas) -Jack being bad at something *beep beep*
Excited for Greg’s books and hopefully more of the whole group together.
Dana also provides a playlist for your listening pleasure. Speaking of listening pleasures, that’s something Quinlan also enjoys in All Tied Up.
For only 60 pages, this story was very spicy. Jack and Quin have to be my favorite couple of the One Night Series. Jack’s the perfect man. He’s all domineering and in charge when he needs to be, but he’s also stupid in love with Quin and whispering the sweetest things to her the rest of the time. I didn’t even know this bonus scene was coming, but I’m glad for it all the same!
Jack whisks Quin for a relaxing vacation when he notices her job is taxing her. He knows what she needs without her even needing to tell her. They go to the mountains for some alone time and to take their relationship to the next level.
Read if you lie: 📌 One Night Series 📌 Games We Play 📌 Man obsessed
I mean 🥵🥵🥵 All Tied Up did not disappoint in the spicy department! I loved how it was short, spicy and to the point! Quinlan and Jack are so good together, you can really feel the love between them. The only reason i dropped it down a star was the ending. I was reading it and it didn’t feel like it was over it felt like there should have been more so I was confused when I turned the page and it went to acknowledgments.. Overall still such a great book, my bf came to bed as I was reading and started looking over my shoulder to read. I turned to my side with a “mind ya business” because I couldn’t share!
2. Jack & Quin are back in this novella and I loved them in Games We Play.
Overall, this one was cute. It’s recommended that you read Games We Play first. Also, I felt like there should have been a TW about breeding. I’m not a fan of reading that but I mean it was a novella and I thoroughly loved the characters so I powered through the very cringy moments of that.
Some spice, some holiday goodness, and a quick read. This one’s pretty good.
Jack and Quinlan are back and hot as ever 🔥🥵🤤. I seriously freaking missed them. Games We Play (Jack & Quinlan’s first appearance) was my first Dana Isaly book, so they hold a special place in my warm, smutty heart. ❤️🔥
This Novella was so good. Perfect actually. The timing, the scenery, the mental pictures, the 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. It was a load of hot perfection. Definitely 5/5 recommend. I also 5/5 recommend reading Games We Play first, then All Tied Up, and then the rest of Dana’s amazing books.
Quick read that you can finish within an hour. Jack and Quin are heading to the mountains for Christmas.
I love being able to spend time with Jack and Quin since they were my first couple by Dana. Did I feel like this was a rushed. Yes. Did I enjoy it. Also yes.
I do wish more scenes were more thought of like, Jack said they brought a whole bag just for the toys but only 3 were talked about if you count the restraints.
Still love this couple and I hope we see more of their future.
Like always Dana does not disappoint. Games we play was the first book I read by her and I was so excited to hear she was writing another. Coming back to characters we’ve fallen in love with has always been a readers dream. Seeing them happy and evolving is even better. Thank you so much Dana for being such a amazing author. You interact with your readers so much and you’re incredibly real and transparent. Your horny humans love and support you so much! 💜
Got this ARC the other day and literally stopped reading everything else to simply devour this novella. Quinn and Jack are everything 😍😍 serious #couplegoals If you haven’t read the ‘One Night Series’ do yourself a favor and read them. You meet Quinn and Jack in ‘Games We Play’ and he his 🥵
You will definitely want to read GWP first. Not completely necessary to read the whole ‘One Night Series’, but there are few references you won’t understand. Overall, a super fun, quick, spicy holiday read.
You once again hit the mark with Q & J. Cannot wait for THAT future! I am so excited. Thank you for such a spicy, happy, rewarding, and hopeful ending! The spice hit the mark with this couple and never disappoints! *Wink* Merry Christmas! Enjoy.
P.S. I always love getting a glimpse into the life of the couple that introduced us to the entire gang! They definitely always keep it heightened on the sexual chemistry, never ever lost. Spicy couple from day one.
I loved Jack and Quin in Games We Play, and it was one of the first books I had ever read that made me fall in love with Dana's books. All Tied Up is the perfect spicy Christmas novella and a must-read for all you spicy lovers out there.
Please note that you must read Games We Play before reading All Tied Up.
I loved this novella!! 😍 Jack and Quinlan are my favorite couple from this series! So I loved getting more of them! Jack is so yummy! 🤤🫠 That Spa shower scene was 🥵💦!! I kinda hope that maybe we’ll get more of them in the future maybe while she is preggers! ❤️
