After his mesmerizing prediction comes to pass, Tad is embraced as a holy messenger and invited into Christopher Columbus’ inner circle to help guide the expedition to the “New World.” There should be no better time to strike than in such close quarters with the enemy, but Tad struggles to act as he discovers the common ground between them. In 2112, the fate of the future hangs in the balance. Sosh and Yellow Kid’s plan is interrupted by a hauntingly familiar face, and Emily threatens to weaponize the time-travel cave when her post comes under attack by a roving crew out for blood.

“History keeps insisting on itself, no matter what you do. History doesn’t WANT to change. It wants things to happen the way they’ve always happened.”
This was a sad issue. The reality that our MC isn’t just fighting Columbus or his crew on the ship, but history itself. It will be interesting to see how the Earthdivers can fight against the forces of time already passed. Reset the course of history.
I’m really excited to see where this story is going every time I pick up a new installment. We’re starting to get some supernatural elements possibly alongside the sci-fi, and I really like it.
The fourth installment is here! And I missed the launch day but I made it to the party nonetheless. We get more violence, some supernatural, and quite a bit of, "Well, hells bells..." here. I sure hope our MCs have more optimism and fight in them than I do, because things are not looking good and I feel super defeated, but I am going to keep turning up for this rewriting/revisiting history quest!
This picks up right after #3. I'm not sure if it's me or graphic novels in general, but I'm having such a hard time keeping up with what's happening in each of our locations in these volumes. I love the main storyline with Tad and I pretty much know what's going on with him, but I just read the synopsis of this over on Amazon and I was thinking something completely different than what they say about one of the side plots, so maybe I just can't follow these very easily. I've preordered them all on kindle, but I'm definitely going to buy the bind up when it comes out and get them all in physical form to read again.
Wow this volume was fantastic I'm really curious to see what happens in the next single issue. The violence was turned up in this installment I wanted to put that as a content warning.
The story became progressively more aggressive, brutal and ghastly. I still suspect that I may have missed an early prequel because there are many characters, conversations and scenarios that I don’t know what is happening unless it is meant to be resolved later on, like a Dr Who episode.
#4 – Indies Man – Dear Sosh .. THIS is how you change the world. Not with words, but with weapons.”
