What she truly stole from him that day was his heart. For Isobel and her band of thieves' life as outlaws is the only one they would choose. Stealing from those who have too much to provide for the ones in need, Isobel has finally found her purpose. And it all began four years ago when the lass stole her treasured good luck charm, the golden ring she took from her first target.
The ring Keith Gilmore's father had given him meant he was ready to take on more responsibilities as the Laird's firstborn son. However, the Highlander lost his most prized possession… Four years ago, he was pulled to the side of the road by a seductive damsel in distress who fooled him, taking everything from him!
Unable to forget the insult and the lass who stole from him, Keith searches for Isobel relentlessly. Suddenly, he recognizes her through the crowd, only for her to disappear once again. But this time, Keith will not let the devious lass go.
Isobel has never been this close to being captured, and her handsome prey has now become the hunter.
Isobel and Keith made for a great story. I loved the characters and storyline so much. Except for her bastardly father. I think I would have beat her father so bad he’d know what karma was. I laughed when he told her what Laird McKenzie said about the resemblance to the thief. 😂😂😂 And her having 3 babies so fast. No mention of his father again. 😢 Well I look forward to reading the next book. As always another Wonderful Story by Ann Marie Scott! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜
The book had too many typos. I thought at first at was me and my Kindle. I wasn't turning the pages. But some of the pages were two pages in one . it printed the top of one page and TBE bottom of another. Otherwise it was a good story once I motivated the pages to read right.
