Blaze lives for football. Melissa lives for the theater. They meet when he gets injured. Melissa's father gets him to help her with the prep for her play. They're attracted to each other, and things move fast.
There's a one week separation when Blaze isn't sure what to do- keep seeing her, or choose football. He eventually talks to Melissa's dad and gets his blessing. He surprises her on the night of her play and gives her the good news.
I thought this was a cute novella. There was very little angst and drama, just a sexy time or two with some cute moments!
Length: 35 pages Ages: college age Cheating: none OW/OM drama: none Sex scene with OW/OM: none Separation: 1 week Virgin/celibate/manwhore: dual virgins!

Temp me de Gigi Love serie The Trist Brothers libro 3
Argumento:
Me hubiera gustado leer esa charla!
Really like reading about the Trist brothers. Blaze made the football team and gets to play with his brother. First game in and tears his ACL. Never in a million years he would get hurt in the first game. He is now has to get surgery and will be out the season. Coach has other plans for Blaze. Melissa is in charge of getting the show, stage and everything ready for the performance in two weeks. When her dad calls and hears everything she has to do with no help he offers her one of his players, since he's injured and can't play. Coach asks Blaze to help his daughter with anything she may need to get the stage ready for opening night. Blaze goes and meets Melissa. They get along great and get the stage ready for opening night. Blaze bought a ticket for opening night and every night there is a play that Melissa is in. One night while working on the stage Melissa felt off the ladder and Blaze caught her. He fought feelings for her for a while and now she's in his arms there is no more holding back. They kiss and have fun learning everything there is to know about each others body. He helped her up until almost the last day when Blaze panicked and told her they shouldn't see each other. Breaking her heart she dismissed him. Blaze spoke with his brother, who told him what to do. Blaze talked to coach and asked for his permission to date his daughter. So on opening night he is there with her dad. After the show he lets her know his feelings. Her dad was also happy as !omg as his daughter was happy. Now Blaze is healed he is getting ready to go out on the field to play. Melissa is at his game as he is at her shows. They are perfect together.

Melissa needs help urgently getting the play she’s starring in ready due opening night. She’s not sure how but everything from set production to design is now all on her shoulders and with only two weeks to go she’s up against it, so when her dad who happens to be the coach of Hartford football team offer one of his injured players to help she quickly agrees. She never expected to fall for Blaze, but with her life being an actress and his being a football star will never work, is there attraction due to fail from day one?
Blaze couldn’t believe that he was out for the season after his first game but after tearing his ACL he knows this could be the end of his college and football career if he doesn’t do exactly what the doctors tell him. Five weeks of resting and he’s already feeling like his career is doomed watching the team from the sidelines. So when coach asks him to help out with a play his daughter is in he agrees. The moment he meets Melissa he knows this girl is something special and the more time he spends around her the more he falls for the smart, sassy, beautiful woman she is, but her dad is the coach of his football team, the one that decides of he plays of not, is he ready to jeopardise one for the other, or will he choose football over love?
This is a cute and short novella that I whole heartedly recommend, as each one is, the characters are great but I would like if there was a little more development for them, but each one is fab read and I can’t wait to read book number 4. 3.8* read.
This is short and sweet. An injured college football star is sent by coach to help his daughter do setup for a play. Well now, they end up doing setup alright, they set themselves up off stage. Problem is, how will coach react to his daughter and the future star quarterback being together? Now, that is what could make for a real theatrical performance. Just know that coach is a daddy and loves his daughter. He wants what’s best for her. But then what about Blaze, the love struck football player? What will happen to his career if coach doesn’t like him with the daughter?
🤔 WISHES and OBSERVATIONS
✒︎ Very easy read. I actually read it while watching the Florida/Georgia football game…. Kept me in the spirit and reminded me that players have a life off the field too.
✒︎ Not a lot of drama, angst or emotion. It's a story about two people falling for each other fast, almost like love at first sight.
✒︎ I wanted to feel the story more instead of just reading it. Would like more depth and character development.
✒︎ Do we get to find out if Blaze makes it in football? The ending doesn’t give us a clue.

This book is a steamy college sports romance novella that is fast-paced with the opposites attract trope. Blaze Trist is following in his brother’s footsteps and playing college football at Hartford. After sustaining an injury on his very first game, he is benched for the rest of the season. His coach decides to make him stop wallowing and sends him to help his daughter with a play she has been planning. Blaze never expected Melissa Barnes to be so beautiful and funny. She’s off-limits as the coach’s daughter but temptation is impossible to avoid. They both feel the pull between them and everything heats up. I would have liked more groveling from Blaze but I understand it’s not possible since it’s a novella. Overall this was an amazing book and I’ve loved reading all of the Trist brother’s romances so far!
Tropes: College romance, sports romance, new adult romance, dual virgins, virgin heroine, virgin hero, opposites attract, happily-ever-after Heat: 2/5.

Blaze and Melissa's story is a fast sweet read that warms your heart and reminds us how our path is never what we plan.
Blaze a promising football player, is injured in his first game. Sideline for the year, his coach asked him to help his daughter get ready for the play. Melissa is a strong woman and determined to take things in her own hands when needed.
Together Blaze and Melissa grew close and found more than they expect, now would it end because of her father. Love the strength of both characters and the passion the ignited.

I've read several books written by Gigi Love; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the third book in the Trist Brothers Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Melissa & Blaze; he starts his college football career following in his brother’s footsteps but ends up injured in the first game and is out for the season. She’s the coach’s daughter. The coach asks him to help her with the school’s fall play.

Although this book was a great, short read, that’s also exactly the problem. There is no character development that hooks you into the book. Even the steamy part isn’t long enough. And although I believe in falling in love quickly, this story is not very realistic to suddenly be in love after 2 weeks. I’m a sucker for this type of story, but it just wasn’t it.

After being sidelined by an ACL injury, Blaze is asked to help the coaches daughter, Melissa, with the school play. The more time they spend together, the harder it get to resist. Will the coach understand or boot him from the team? This is a quick yet entertain read. All the Trist brothers are fantastic!.

This book is a short quick read about Melissa and Blaze. Blaze is a football player and Melissa is the coach’s daughter. After an injury, Blaze gets roped into helping Melissa and the drama production. It has some slightly steamy scenes. It was an easy read. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone book. I enjoyed reading this book.

Football or Charlotte - will Blaze have to choose?
If you love college football romance like me then I highly recommend reading Tempt Me. Charlotte's dad is the football coach & sends his injured player Blaze to help her out with the upcoming play. The sparks of attraction are there but will Blaze have to choose between football & Charlotte? Their story may be short but it sure is steamy.

It’s a good story, My only real issue is that the MCs fall head-over-heels in love, in less than a week?!? For two virgins, who just got busy for the first time together.. it smacks of lust and infatuation, not love. Plus you don’t really see much passion/connection between them. It just feels a bit flat. Disappointing since I’ve liked the previous ones.

I have loved each brother this series so far, and Blaze was no different. The Trist brothers are all sweet and heat... This story was exactly that, although Blaze definitely had his own challenges to overcome before he got to be happy. Great read!.

Coach’s Daughter Melissa (18) is a theatre kid and Blaze (18) football player who gets injured and his coach asks if he will help his daughter with the play
Dual V- he pushes back after they have sex because he doesn’t know what to do as he loves football and thinks the coach will stop him playing
The writing style of the book is good. It was an okay read. There's definitely potential, but there were certain things that kept me from getting into the story.

All the potential in the world, the developing storyline was interesting and had the makes of a wonderful novel; however, I never could become engaged with my attention fully invested. I blinked and I felt like it was over.
A short story without major dramas or conflicts, but very sweet. It's good to read an uncomplicated story everything is headed in the direction of love.
