Despite the title, it’s not a Christmas novel - it’s so much more, full of love and magic
It’s the story of Logan, a firefighter in his late thirties, divorced, with 2 lovely kids. And Remy, 26, who’s a fire dancer at a festival when they first set eyes on each other and share a kiss.
More than half a year later, Remy rents a shed to have a place where he can craft his copper-penny-art (necklaces, rings, table tops - I actually feel the urge to google it there’s something like this in real life 🥰).
He hasn’t forgotten the handsome stranger he shared a kiss with - turns out said stranger, Logan, is the landlord nephew and lives more out less next door.
Honestly. The story is so beautiful, so warm and magical and full of love and understanding. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the two men who - are first glance - are so very different.
Reading it made me swoon and gave me heart eyes - it’s almost poetic at times, and wrapped me in a warm, fuzzy blanket.
I mean - just read this scene. It’s so vivid, you almost feel the world stops spinning for a moment while this happens, right?
”Tunnel vision descends. I’m not anyone’s dad. I’m not a firefighter with a deathly blaze bearing down on me. This, right here. It’s just him and me climbing to an oblivion that’s going to shatter us and put us back together before we catch our breaths.”

5 stars, not because its a perfect book, but because it made me smile happily while reading (and even while writing the review).
