A good read overall
Brooke is on an island with her dad and soon to be Stepmom for their wedding but Brooke is thinking about the day she turned 18 and the near kiss she got from her dad's best friend. Banner has been thinking about that day for a while but chose to hide from temptation half way around the world. Being in paradise, anything can happen but it's nearly then end when the bride to be hears something she shouldn't and we'll, all hell may be let loose. I did like the book. I must admit gicen the title, the texting bit sort of got on my nerves a little. It was a good story and conveyed everything about the characters, where they were, the relationship between characters and the emotions between the family and Banner.

Flora Ferrari switching her formula up on me when I complained about it in the last books review. No Xs or kisses in the texts? He snuck some fingering in before he eats her and she runs off cuz she’s a virgin? I mean, what did I even read?! I think the next book the hero might not even be the dads best friend. One of my favourite books by Flora
Wow this book is just brilliant. I was on tender hooks whole way through.
Brooke was on her way to her fathers wedding. They had gone away to New Zealand to have this amazing wedding and she was really excited for her dad to finally marry. It had been awhile since They had lost her mum and it was good to see him happy again. But what she wasn’t excited for was seeing Banner again. He is her dad‘s best friend and he was best man at the wedding. The issue is Brooke has had a crazy crush on him for years, then on her 18th birthday at her party they nearly kissed but he stepped back and said he had had too much to drink and he was sorry I left the party. So she wasn’t sure how this was going to be seeing him again. He had moved to Tokyo for a year probably enjoying life out there seeing women but Brooke couldn’t think about that now.
Banner was dreading this wedding. He knew at Brooke’s 18th birthday party that she was the woman for him. But out of respect for Gill her dad and his best friend he left the country so he wasn’t tempted to see her again. But now he was going to spend a long weekend with her and he didn’t know if he could keep his feelings to himself. And seeing her and watching her walk away from him nearly killed him. But when he gets a text from her asking him to meet her later he quickly agrees.
And that is all you’re getting from me because you need to read this book it’s exciting it will have you on the edge of your seat. It will have you laughing out loud and it will make your heart melt reading the text messages between them. But what they can’t hide from each other all their feelings. They both know that they want each other but they try to fight it so hard out of respect for her Dad. can They stay away from each other?? can they be good?? Of course they can’t. A brilliant read.

Texting My Dad's Best Man, Book 4 or the Text Me You Love Me series, was about 39-year-old Banner Barret, a management consultant, and 19-year-old Brooke Carter, a wanna-be animal behaviorist.
Banner had been BFF's with Gil, Brooke's father, since they were children. He'd been there for his first wedding, the birth of Brooke, and even when Gil's first wife died. So when Brooke turned 18, he wasn't expecting to fall in love. After nearly kissing her, he left for Japan and spent a year working there. After that year when Gil was ready to marry again, he invited Banner to be his best man.
When Banner apologized to Brooke for the near-kiss, putting it down to being drunk, he broke her heart. So when she knew he was returning for her father's wedding, she prepared herself to ignore him. But neither of them were able to avoid the other.
It was another sweet romance novel that had low angst, medium drama, and a touch of humor. There were a lot of other emotions that the characters were saddled with too, but the secrecy of the relationship weighing heavily on the two main characters definitely took the cake.
Unlike some of the previous stories, the character development and maturity of these two were a bit better. They were at least a tad more mature, but they still had trouble with their communication skills. I gave this story a three-star rating.

Brooke young, innocent crushed on only one man her father’s best friend knowing she is way to young, and the fact that he is her dads best friend also he would never see her pass anything then her father’s best friend’s daughter but one night changes everything. Banner sexy as all get out older man watching his best friend grow up right before his eyes so wanting her is forbidden and top that with the fact he is twenty years older than her so the night of her eighteenth birthday when she kissed him of course he allowed her to think he was drunk but reality he was sober and has wanted that kiss for a while now that she is older enough just maybe he can step out of his own way. No matter how hard they try to not think about each other the stronger the magnetic pull between them grows and the harder it is to resist fate has put them on the same path neither of them can walk away but when they give in the guilt on both their parts is eating at them but when their love is discovered , how will her father react to them being together, will they be stronger enough to get through it together, and can they find their own happiness together?.

This had a great storyline with wonderful characters. Banner had gotten a shock when he sees Brooke on her 18th birthday. He is so engrossed in having her that he leaves the country for a year and goes to Japan. Brooke is so excited and scared to see Banner again one year later at her father's wedding. When they see each other again it's worse. They are both overwhelmed by the feelings that they have but they are trying to keep it together because they don't want to ruin her father and Banner's best friends wedding. Will they be able to control themselves until after the wedding? What will they do if they get caught sneaking around before the wedding? Some adventure, some drama, and sizzling steam. Recommend the story.

I loved Texting My Dad’s Best Man: Book 4 of Text Me You Love Me. I’m a big fan of age doesn’t matter in love and these stories always portray that. Banner has tried to stay away from Brooke, she’s his best friends daughter but running away to another country for a year didn’t make any difference. Brooke might be young but she knows that Banner is the other half of her soul. Will her dad understand? Will he forgive them for keeping a secret? A great storyline and great characters. I always enjoy Flora Ferrari books and I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

In this book we meet Brook & Banner. 1 year earlier these two almost kissed. Now neither can't forget it. They both want the other but getting together at Brooke's dad's wedding well neither can stand the thought of hurting him. Banner knows his best friend Gil was there during the worst time in his life. Now he wants his daughter but how can he tell him that? Will these two find a HEA or will they always be left wanting the other?
Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Banner and Brooke almost kiss at her 18th birthday party. Banner is Brookes dad's best friend, but he's to die for and Brooke can't think of a better way to go. A year later he returns from his over seas travel for her dads wedding and confesses that he wasn't drunk that night, but knew it would be wrong. But now he can't move on. They decide to text so as not to ruin her dads wedding, but the texting is getting hotter and hotter. This is another great full length novel by Flora. I love the way she tells her stories and can't get enough of them!!!.

This OMYW trope features Banner and Brooke and a 20+ year age difference. Brooke's dad is Banner's best friend, so the H & h's instalove is portrayed as a tale of forbidden passion. They cannot resist each other or keep their hands off one another. It's your standard Flora Ferrari formula. I do love her stories, but it would also be nice to read a book in the future that breaks away from the formula. What would be ever better is that she surprises readers with an unexpected plot twist.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Banner and Brooke. He's her dad's best friend and her crush. Banner finally see her as a woman on her 18th birthday, but pushes it aside and spend time in Japan to forget. When they see each other on the island that her dad is getting married on, all bets are off. They indulge in texting to satisfy the need to talk. But they need more. Great HEA in the works.

Texting My Dad's Best Friend was a steamy, forbidden romance by Flora Ferrari. Banner saw Brooke only as his best friend's daughter until the night of her 18th birthday party. She went from Gil's daughter to the woman of his deepest desires. He knew she was the one for him. Brooke has crushed on Banner for as long as she can remember. Trying not to ruin his friendship, Banner goes to work overseas. Now reunited for her dad's wedding, staying away from each other is impossible. Another awesome insta love romance.

I loved Brooke and Banner but I felt like it was dragged out to long. I also love smutty books and this is just my preference I don't like the use of manhood I'd rather read c*ck or d*ck. I also don't like core I'd rather read p*ssy or c*nt. Now that is my preference but it made me lose interest. Also the way Banner would speak sometimes was more like a teen/ early 20's than a 39 year old man.
Now this is just my preferences and how I felt reading. This is still a good story it just wasn't really for me.

The story between Banner and Brooke was the cutest and hot in all levels. Banner had to lie that the kiss was a mistake because she was 18 and being 39 it was not going to happen. He had to leave and broke Brookes heart. But they are together again for his best friend and Brooke's father. They tried and tried but the love they share was unbreakable and the heart wants what the hearts want. You are going to love this as much as I did.

I like Ferrari’s work and she always hits my R spot (Romance spot) right in the heart. Banner fell in love at a wedding and instantly had the primal urge to procreate… a must for OTT romances. LOL. The couple continues to get to know each other via texting. Brooke and Banner with the sexting… Hot, Hot and Hot. I typically don’t like romances with sexting but I am converted now. I like the ooey gooey sweetness and sexy exchanges between these characters.

I absolutely loved this story. Flora Ferrari is one of my favorite authors. Brooke and Banner has a great love for one of another. Banner is Brooke's dad's best friend but they fall for each other. How are they going to be together without hurting him? Do they get to be together forever. Read to find out how they figure out their life together.

This was such a great story. Brooke and Banner were so sweet with each other. He's older and her dad's best friend and Brooke has always had a crush on him. While at her dad's wedding, their emotions explode and they can't stay away from each other. Since they don't want to ruin the wedding they keep it under wraps and spend the time texting.

It was my first novel by Flora Ferrari. I enjoy reading it, I like Brooke and Banner. Brooke’s father was best friend with Banner and were friends for long time. They met at beautiful island for wedding, and all guests got sell phone and Brooke and Banner started texting each other. When they went boating Brooke fall in the water and Banner safely brought her back to boat. It was romantic and well written book.

I've read a lot of books written by Flora Ferrari; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

There was no angst, misunderstandings or drama.
I liked the fact that the MC characters were honest with each other without the usual drama of hiding their feelings.
There are more than one epilogues in the future.

Another great read by Flora Ferrari who once again brings strong characters and a hot and sexy older man/younger woman romance. After fighting the attraction they decide to keep their romance to texting .. until that's not enough. After some sneaking the truth comes out. I loved reading their story and would recommend this book.
