"Shadowland" is a collection of seven horror stories from writer Michael Raff, author of "Stalkers," "Skeleton Man," "Shreds," "Scare Tactics", " Tales of Terror," and so far his only nonhorror novel, " a true story." Within "Shadowland's" pages "Ship of Pain," based on fact, is a story about American World War I soldiers returning home on a ship infected with Influenza. In "Runaway," a girl hitchhiker finds herself stalked by a hideous creature in an abandoned southern mansion. In "Night Watch," a young security guard confronts a demonic entity to free thousands of souls it has imprisoned. "The Cellar," concerns a social worker having to interview what may or may not be a werewolf, that a deranged woman has kept under lock and key. "Zander's Box," an award winning story, takes place in a future pandemic, where John Zander races across the country and against time to seek the cure to save billions. "Birds of a Feather," pits a spoiled, beautiful actress against a carnivorous parrot seeking revenge. "Wreck of the Lady Lydia," features a three-century-old demonic presence that will stop at nothing to guard its treasure.
