Gruesome

This was a great gruesome nasty story, filled with revenge, brutality, evil intent by a group of men that has no empathy but for themselves. The story tells the tale of two families and a cemetery with rumours and old wives tales regarding revenge. Was is all just that rumours? Or was it true what they said the youngest of one of the families would soon find out. And those whom did him and his family wrong were going to be in a whole lot of pain.
I really enjoyed this read as it was full of blood and gore the storyline was nicely paced, with some brilliant characters. The read took you away into their world everything around you disappears As you are immersed deeply into the depths of persecution. Definitely recommend!

Only Wade H. Garrett is able to write such atrocities and at the same time make them funny as hell. It is basically A Glimpse into Hell with a supernatural touch and a little bit more focus on the characters.
The dialogue between these characters is comedy gold. And the twist, holy shit, this one is pure evil. I loved it from beginning to end.

Needs editing. Interesting premise, and it began well. But the end was disappointing, too much sexual torture.

Wow, never a dull moment

I wasn't sure what to expect from this story. I shouldn't have been. While it is graphic, luckily that doesn't bother me, the storytelling is amazing. Not since "Carrie", have I read such a fantastic story about revenge.

Sometimes there is some truth behind those legends of that creepy old man in your town. And sometimes you can be repaid for your sins in ways worse than you could ever fathom.

More good stuff from wade garret!

I'll say garret isn't good everyone and punishment of the wicked is definitely his forte. Make sure you are okay with reading brutality before starting this journey but it was well done. He stepped into some new territory with this book and did exceedingly well! If you liked any of his preview work then you won't be disappointed. It was good and is undeniably wade garret work. Very creative with was to make bad people pay and always wonder what be will come up with next. I look forward to future installments from this author.

I was in perfect angst wondering when the retribution would begin in earnest. And he kept dragging it out to the point that I was worried we’d be denied…how shall we say, “gratification”, until another book in a series. Ahhh but finally sweet release. And while we were fed enough to be satisfied I was sorely disappointed that we did not get to “lick the plate clean”, as it were.I think I would have preferred less preaching and more savaging.I honestly don’t know how he comes up with this stuff but I’m glad that he does so that I do not have to.

A fun supernatural revenge tale.

It comes straight from the developing doomed characters department. While our nice normal family, doesn't last very long, the villains whose torment we get to delight in are developed in enough detail that by the time they get their comeuppance, you have no sympathy for them at all. Fair warning, while not the most extreme horror I've read, it is still an extreme horror novel. Reader beware.

The Gravedigger sees all. The question is if you could change your ways to be a better person, would you? The answer should be yes. If not, sorry about your luck
I was worried at first that this book would be soft. The beginning kinda was. But the ending was one of the most hardcore things I've ever read! Excellent read!

This is the best old school horror novel I've read in a long time. I would highly recommend this book for fans of supernatural horror. If you have any triggers you need to stay away, this book is not for you. I have read one other book by this author and plan on reading many more in the near future.

Wow!!!

This book is... Saying demented, twisted or vile does not do it justice. If you are looking for a read that gives you a small peak into hell and how the wicked may be punished, than this is definitely a book you must read.

Great read as always!

This book really shores what should happen to evil people. Wade H Garrett delivers once again a masterpiece in the human condition. Punishment is well deserved and meted out in this book.

Such an interesting read! I didn’t know what I was expecting first starting this story, but I was sucked right in almost immediately. Extremely detailed, dark and the perfect amount of paranormal. First read from this author, and I want to read more.

Awesomely gruesome

Not for the faint of heart. Definitely not a "bodice ripper"... more like a flesh ripper.

Couldn't put it down!

You know exactly what you're in for when you open up a Wade H. Garrett horror book and this was no exception.

It seems like he went more towards character development this time, which really shocked me because it was... not too bad???

The horror/gore was par for the course. The imagination on this guy though is wild, trying to picture the underground setup he had in this book had my mind going in overdrive

I just couldn't recommend this (or any of his books really lol) to anyone unless they were VERY familiar with this genre and his absurd imagination, and even then I'd still be hesitant.

This book was damn good. Very good. Finally, something of quality. I feel like a lot of extreme horror is akin to junk food, and it’s hard to find stuff that really packs a punch and feels genuinely good. Not to bash extreme horror and splatter punk, clearly it’s my preferred genre to read, but a lot of it is just good fun and not good. I loved this book. One of my favorite less talked about horror books
