Hi! My name is Angel Rayne and I write dark, delicious romance with antiheroes who would burn down the world to save the woman they love. I never understood why the villains never win the girl, and so I decided to write them their own love stories where they do.
Here are a few other odds and ends about me…
-Music inspires my stories and I make playlists for every book.
-I am not a fast writer. My stories take time to write. They need to brew in my head. To have book releases close together I have to write ahead. But I would much rather take the time the stories need to be the best they can be than try to rush them out. Trust me on this one.
-I love the rain, and I'm happiest when I'm sitting in a coffee shop with my laptop as it storms outside.
-I prefer to go watch movies alone, with one of those fancy coffees hidden in my purse. (Yes, I really do this.)
-My husband calls me his "little bird" because anything that sparkles catches my eye.
-I will never have enough soft blankets. Ever.
-I love ALL THE DRAMA…at least in books.
-I will forever re-watch The Phantom of the Opera with the hope that by some miracle, this time she will choose correctly.

Enzo was a very possessive and rough character. After his first encounter with Sera, he became obsessed with her.

I didn’t like their first time having sex. He didn’t rape her yet sex was without her consent and her virginity was harshly taken.
I didn’t like his manipulative behaviour in the least. It was either she would stay with him or he would take her back to her father from whom she had run away.

However, I will give a chance to the next part, I want to see how will Enzo redeem himself.

Heart pounding intense, fast pace and super steamy with rough non con dirty smegsi, this book is perfectly dark ish for me. Love it!

From the prologue alone, the darkness of the Mafia world and heart break-ing point combine perfectly, I understand why Enzo don't want Sera for his wife.

While in their first bj scene, that rough non con scene, I applauded Sera for standing her ground. I can feel her fear mix with lust and determination to npt be another girl played by lusty smegsi guy. But hotdang if that scene didn't burn my Kindle!

And their first time? EVERYTHING I want for from a V card holder girl and the man who barrely holding on his control.
Not many author could pull off this kinda scene and I'll say, Angel done it perfectly. Rough start with sweet satisfying ending.

Sera and Enzo's chemistry was fast and intense but not lacking the depth for you can feel them crawling inside each other skin gripping fast and hard. It's inevitable

The ending is crazy cliffy good, I was ready to knock the author door down to get the second book now!

This book is 4.5 star worthy of freakin intense.

This is a well written mafia romance with strong characters in Enzo and Serafina. The author does a great job pulling you into the story and kept me reading with all the drama, action and smokin hot chemistry. It's well written with descriptive scenes and she had me glued to the pages and still left with wanting more with the cliffhanger ending. I loved the storyline and am looking forward to the next book. Highly recommend.

A newish author for me. This is the first book in a trilogy titled: His Possession Trilogy, a dark mafia story featuring Luca and Sera. Luca is a dark mob boss. Sera is running from her father and Enzo. Enzo works directly for Luca. The story was pretty good. I wish we had the rest already. I hate waiting and then you either forget what you read or you have to read the first book again, and again. I usually won’t take a series til all or most books are out. Hopefully, it won’t be long but compelling so far.

I enjoyed this book. It was a dark mafia romance with a man who could make a crowd shake in fear. The main lead, sera was a strong lead who did what she thought she had to. The tension between them is *chefs kiss* tortured male, obsession, love at first sight.

Oh yes oh yes Angela Rayne now this is my kind of book! Our heroine Serafina (known as Sera) is going through bad times due to escaping her past (no spoilers here) and through a twist of fate meets our broody Italian Mafia man Enzo, who shamelessly falls into insta lust with her - one box ticked for me right there.

I daren't risk too much detail but there is the hottest level of heat - warning a bit of dub con - it sizzles. Our hero is open about his passion for Sera and what I also loved is that she is feisty and by no means a pushover, she is used to protecting herself and being independent and she is extremely reluctant to toe the line with Enzo which is so refreshing.

This book is well written, plot rich, character heavy and a page turner. Be aware that it ends on a cliff hanger bot I'm happy with that to be honest. I cannot get enough of Enzo and Sera and was willing this book not to end abruptly....

If you love dark Mafia romances with angst and lots of steam as I SO do then this is for you. Thanks Ms Rayne!

sooooo, I finished it in about two hours and can't really wait for the second book for see how the story will develop between the main characters. Don’t want to spoiler anything but since the prologue I couldn’t put down the reading.

I need the next book immediately omg. I'm so invested in Sera and Enzos story.

Theres a push and pull between them that keeps them and us on our toes. Sera is very sweet and independent whereas Enzo is deadly and hard. When it comes to Sera he has his very sweet moments and his protective side comes out. They are truly very different from one another but still perfect for each other.

Definitely a book ill recommend to anyone!!

Enzo and Serafina story is a suck you in type of book! Finished it in a day and it’s not a short story. I love mafia books but this one keeps you on your toes. It does have a cliffhanger which I hate but it’s gonna be worth the wait for book 2! Definitely worth more than 5 stars!.

Great start to a new mafia trilogy. Sera is on the run as her father wants to marry her off to a horrible person. Enzo is sent to track her down and bring her back. Once he sees Sera, he knows that she is the one for him. Is only plan is keeping her for himself. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and sizzling chemistry. Action packed and entertaining read. I liked it.

i won an ebook for this one through goodreads a while back & finally got around to reading it (and i wish i didn’t)

i’ve read dark romance books but this one didn’t hit, it just made me uncomfortable. i’m not even sure why i finished it (it ends in a cliffhanger btw, you need to read the next book if you want to know what happens)

what he did to her was so … she was literally coerced & SA’d and you can’t tell me she wasnt?? first at around 40% and then the whole thing at around 79% and the aftermath of it made me feel so gross inside.. even if i were to put aside these parts of the book, i just don’t understand what’s likeable about enzo? i should’ve known i wasn’t going to like him from the prologue lol

it was short & the writing was okay, but i did find myself a bit bored and had to skim over some pages. at the same time i wish there was more to keep me entertained and maybe something to make enzo seem like a better person? that being said i didn’t really bond with any of the characters,, i just felt bad for sera

i don’t like to leave bad reviews butttt considering i’m the first to rate this one 1 star, i felt like i had to 😭

In the world of Enzo Delligatti, good guys don't exist. There are varying degrees from villain to monster with Enzo fitting right in. He was who the monsters feared. Every mafia boss needs a guy willing to cross any line, fight dirty and always follow orders, no matter how uncomfortable. Enzo always fit that role without fail until he met Serafina Cordero. At 25 years old, she ran from her father's prison before he arranged a marriage to an older mafia man who would never make her happiness a priority. All Sera wanted was freedom. Landing in Austin, TX, Sera is determined to make enough money to buy that freedom which leads her to Enzo's doorstep. The pull to her is something he can't fight. When he's ordered to return her to her father, he realizes this is one order he won't follow. Sera is his and God help anyone who tries to take her from him.

When I decided to read this story, I had no idea what to expect as I've never heard of this author before and I am so glad I did. I started with page one and didn't put it down until reaching the cliffhanger ending. To say I was completely engaged with no idea of what was happening outside of the book is an understatement. I don’t think I even went to the bathroom. I can’t wait to read the next two books which will be coming out rather quickly. This was page-turning brilliance filled with edge of my seat angst and incredibly hot scenes. I don’t think I could come up with one negative for this review. I've just found my newest favorite author. If you love dark, mafia romance then you need to get this book now. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

This is part of the His Possession Trilogy series each book is connected with a sexy possessive and the women he feels like is his possession. So, buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Serafina intelligent on the run a mafia princess trying to stay ahead of her father who was trying to force her into a marriage, needing money to stay ahead and deciding to become an escort for an evening or two will give her to keep her hidden but never counting on meeting one very sexy but extremely dangerous man. Enzo sexy as all get out ruthless when needed, dangerous to most, enforcer to the boss, will do whatever it takes running in the same circles his date is trying to hide from and when his boss recognizes his date everything gets interesting. The attraction is instant between the two of them although he sense her fear of him but he wants to show her that she has no reason to be afraid of him Luca the sexy as all get out orders him to return her to her father but how can he when she is the first women in years to actually make his heart beat again so going against his boss for the first time he makes a decision for him to keep her for himself but will his loyalty for his boss win or will his heart win, if his heart wins will it start a war, will her father come for her, will his boss force him to give her up, where are they headed and can these two find happiness, can they find freedom? (I HATE CLIFFHANGERS…JUST THOUGHT I WOULD THROW THAT OUT THER ☹)!.

Hooked and waiting for book two doesn’t even begin to describe what/how I feel about this book. Mafia romances will always be my jam and this book is one of the best mafia books I’ve read! This book grabbed my attention from the beginning and I read it in one night because I couldn’t put it down. Enzo is an enforcer for mob boss Luca who happens to need a date to an event. Sera who is on the run meets Enzo by chance working a job for a sick friend. She soon learns that she was not prepared for the encounter with Enzo and the secrets she harboring threatens to tear them apart.

This story has a lot of twists and turns and ends in a cliffhanger!!!!.

Enjoyable!
It’s a well written dark maffia romance with strong characters.
Enzo is a sexy, dominant and possessive antihero and should be feared. Serafina is a runaway maffia princess trying to escape her father and the whole maffia-world.
I’m looking forward to read the next book and see how everything will develop.

This is the first book in what looks like to be a magnificent dark and delicious Mafia Trilogy.
Serafina is on the run,and needs to earn money becoming an escort she is hired to be Enzo's date.
Enzo is an enforcer for the Mafia a very dangerous brutal man,as soon as he sees Sera it is instant attraction and an overflowing of chemistry.
He wants Sera and Enzo ALWAYS gets what he wants.
He finds out Sera's situation and who she is running from and the reasons why and has an overwhelming sense to protect her.
But Enzo is a deadly and menacing man and he scares Sera,but she doesn't let her fear stop her from standing up to him when she needs to.
He controls her body and her pleasure and he can be cruel and savage but this thing between them is an unstoppable force.
This is an intense story that will keep you engaged from start to finish it is thoroughly entertaining and a steamy,emotional and angsty book,and I enjoyed reading it very much.
I am excited for book 2 because His Promise leaves you wanting more and more.
A fabulous read.

I loved this book it was awesome, the story was exhilarating and the characters were sensational. This was about Enzo's obsession, Serafina (Sera) was on the run, now working at a gentleman's club waitressing. Sera needed money so she can disappear further abroad so she asked her roommate if she had work that she didn't want, after receiving an address she headed off when she knocked on the door she was stunned. Enzo was shocked when he opened the door it was not the person he booked, the woman he was looking at looked like a prostitute he couldn't take her to a wedding, when they got there she had seen something she didn't like and said she feels sick that she needs to go. When they got back to his place she ran. This book will take hold of you and won't let go until you finish and I do recommend to buy this book you won't be disappointed.

This book started out absolutely destroying my heart!! Like breaking it right into pieces!! Like I couldn't believe he actually went through with his orders!! Then it fast forwards 15 years and Enzo has hardened himself against everything and everyone but all of a sudden Serafina shows up at his door. And he can't get her out of his head. Ok so I'm not quite sure exactly how to feel about this book at the moment.  Like don't get me wrong I am enjoying it and it's keeping me on my toes. But like Enzo is all about saving Sera but he couldn't his own wife? And I get he is older now and probably learned some things and I am aware that we are only in book 1 so I guess I might have some things to learn about him still. But it is a very good read. And I need book 2 asap!!! It leaves you hanging but not a bad cliffy!!

His emotions have been closed off for several years and when he sees Sera, she brings him back to life. This book has it all action and adventure, heart pounding passion, a mafia princess on the run and the man who wants to protect her at all costs. When everything comes to a head with his boss Luca will Enzo give her back to her father? Will she run when away from Enzo, or will she trust him to protect her? Can they overcome their past and finally find the love? Beware the book does end a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for book two. So, I’ve been waiting for Enzo’s story since being introduced to him in Ms Rayne’s previous trilogy ‘His Obsession’. Enzo’s life has been filled with tragedy until he meets Sera and his mundane existence comes to an end.

OMG, what a fabulous start to this trio of novels and well worth the wait! The book ends on a nail biting cliffhanger, which is to be expected, this is a trilogy after all. Absolutely loved it and can’t wait for the next book to be released. An excellent, enthralling 5* read if dark Mafia romance is your genre.
