Read for a global business class. Most of the information I had learned from other courses, but in less detail. Foley did a good job of explaining global business from his experience and gave practical advice on how to take your business international. However, the book is getting a 3 because 1) it was boring and 2) I WANTED TO TAKE A RED PEN TO ALL OF HIS GRAMMAR AND FORMATTING ERRORS (i.e. he badly needs a revision with a new editor)

A very informative book covering everying from when do you know your company is ready to export, to financing, and regulations. I read it in preparation for the Certified Global Business Professional exam.

practical, how-to guide to exporting. somewhat old school though, does not address current dynamic market and born-globals.
