Stat Daddy takes you on a whimsical sports journey from the late '70s through present-day social media coverage, linking old-school two-a-day football coaches with today's highly skilled prep athletes who would have run circles around star players forty years ago. Follow along in the oft-amusing and nostalgia-laced anecdotes from yesteryear. Stat Daddy covers it all, too-sports, movies, and music.

Kevin Taylor is an excellent sportswriter who covered sports in Texas and Arkansas. He is now the Sports Information Director at Alma Public Schools. Kevin writes about his time growing up in Texas, learning to be a sportswriter in Texas, and many of his favorite stories, players, and coaches that he covered in Texas and Arkansas.

It is a very interesting read that describes the cast of characters who have crossed his path on his way to covering local sports.

Stat Daddy is a must read of any sports enthusiast who loves local sports and the people that make them special. Kevin is beloved for his coverage and writing by players, coaches, fans, and parents. After reading this entertaining book I am sure you will love him too.
