The title of this book makes me giggle so hard and I have absolutely no idea why. The way the cupcake from this book plays a part in the story is also adorable. Maniac and Tatiana finally have their story and HEA. They are up there was one of my favorite couples from Little Cakes. Loved reading this book!

Yet another sweet story! This one was slightly different as Tatiana and Maniac have worked together for years.
Tatiana has buried her little after being hurt but deep down hopes to find her real daddy, and it seems than Maniac is just the one she's been waiting for.
A little hiccup along the way doesn't stop them from forming a deep bond.

« Je ne parle pas du magasin. Il marche à merveille. Nous avons besoin de nouveaux artistes et probablement d'un manager. Maniac Tats est désormais un salon bien établi. Nous devons grandir au même rythme que l'entreprise et ne pas nous épuiser. »
« Je suis d’accord avec tout ça. Vous voulez contacter la communauté artistique pour voir si quelqu’un de talentueux a besoin d’un nouvel espace de travail ? » a demandé Tatiana avant de prendre une gorgée de la canette fraîche.
« Je ferai ça demain. »
"Cool."
Le maniaque la fixa du regard. « Maintenant, parlons de nous. »
« Je ne pensais pas qu'il y avait un « nous » – autre que notre partenariat », a-t-elle lancé, essayant de détendre l'atmosphère. Suggérait-il ce qu'elle espérait qu'il suggérait ?
Après toutes ces années où ils avaient travaillé ensemble, tous les jours où elle avait pensé à quelque chose de plus avec lui, toutes les nuits où elle avait rêvé de ses mains parcourant son corps…
Soudain, Maniac se pencha en avant, enroula ses bras costauds autour d'elle et la souleva de son tabouret pour la poser sur ses genoux. « Tu me tues dans cette tenue, petite fille. Je veux qu'il y ait un nous. » Maniac abaissa ses lèvres vers les siennes. Elle pouvait sentir ses moustaches coupées très près de sa peau.
Sans réfléchir, Tatiana s'avança pour presser sa bouche contre la sienne. Ses mains caressèrent ses longs cheveux soyeux et jetèrent la bande de cuir qu'il utilisait pour les attacher pendant qu'il travaillait. Son profond grognement de satisfaction lui parvint jusqu'au cœur, et elle se sentit mouillée.
Tatiana avait pensé à passer ses mains dans les cheveux de Maniac tant de fois qu'elle ne pourrait jamais les compter. Elle s'était demandée ce que cela ferait d'avoir ses lèvres contre les siennes. Elle avait réfléchi de près à son goût et à son odeur.
Était-ce vraiment en train de se passer ? Ou bien s'était-elle endormie à son poste et son imagination s'était-elle mise à courir ?
Maniac la laissa l'embrasser pendant quelques secondes avant de prendre le contrôle. Tenant l'arrière de sa tête, il caressa sa langue sur la couture de ses lèvres et à l'intérieur alors qu'elle ouvrait avec empressement la bouche pour lui accorder l'accès. Il s'arracha à l'échange houleux après ce qui lui sembla une éternité et pas assez de temps du tout, les laissant tous les deux haletants alors qu'ils prenaient le temps de respirer.
« Tatiana », dit-il d’une voix encore plus grave que d’habitude.
« Oh, c'est nous ? » s'exclama-t-elle, émerveillée, sans vouloir paraître impertinente, mais totalement stupéfaite.
« Oui, ma petite fille. C'est nous. Envisagerais-tu de laisser un autre papa entrer dans ta vie ? » demanda-t-il en frottant le cœur rouge tatoué sur son poignet qui portait autrefois le titre spécial de papa.
« Je ne sais pas. C'est effrayant. Il m'a arraché le cœur et l'a écrasé », a-t-elle admis, fixant l'endroit où il l'avait doucement touchée.
« Peux-tu être courageux pour nous ? » a-t-il demandé.
Elle s'arrêta un instant, puis hocha la tête avec hésitation. « J'ai rêvé d'avoir un papa », admit Tatiana.
« J'ai rêvé de t'avoir comme mon Petit. »
« Vraiment ? » grinça-t-elle.
« Vraiment. Tu m'as donné beaucoup de matinées difficiles. »
Tatiana le regarda, essayant de déterminer s'il pensait vraiment ce qu'elle pensait. Le sourire lent et carnassier qui s'étira sur ses lèvres confirma ses soupçons, et ses joues devinrent chaudes.
« Oh, petite fille. J'ai hâte de te faire rougir de partout », grogna-t-il.
« Qu'arrive-t-il à Maniac Tats ? »
« Ça va aller mieux. Notre entreprise est florissante. Nous serons désormais encore plus heureux de venir chaque jour passer plus de temps ensemble. »
« J'aime passer du temps avec toi », a admis Tatiana.
« Mon endroit préféré. Avec toi. Et en plus, être ici, à créer de l'art. »
Elle hocha la tête en signe d'accord, ressentant exactement la même chose. « Alors, comment on commence ? On sort ensemble ? »
« Nous le faisons. Et nous en parlons. Je sais ce qui est important pour toi en tant que partenaire commercial. Je pense que je connais certaines des choses auxquelles tu tiens le plus en tant que petite fille, mais je suis sûr qu'il y a certaines choses que tu as dissimulées », suggéra-t-il en hochant la tête lorsqu'elle eut l'air coupable. « C'est exactement ce que je pensais. »
« Tu vas me donner la fessée ? » demanda-t-elle.
« Absolument oui. Je répondrai à tous tes besoins quand tu es doux et câlin et quand tu es irritable et coquin. »
« D’accord. »
Ayant besoin d’échapper à ces regards complices, Tatiana posa sa tête sur son épaule et enfouit son visage dans le creux de son cou. Elle inspira, sentant l’odeur de l’encre et des autres fournitures qu’ils utilisaient. C’était familier et réconfortant. Mais au fond, elle savourait son propre parfum – chaud et masculin. Cela la titillait et la taquinait, lui donnant envie d’explorer. Pressant ses lèvres contre sa peau, elle le goûta et se figea au profond gémissement d’excitation qu’il partageait avec elle.
« Tu vas me tuer, petite fille. Faisons en sorte que cette phase de rencontre soit rapide. D'accord ? »
« S’il te plaît, » acquiesça-t-elle. « Peut-être… »
« Ça n'arrivera pas, Tatiana. J'ai hâte de te savourer dans mon lit. Bon sang, dans l'arrière-salle aussi. Mais pas avant que nous soyons tous les deux à l'aise avec ce dont nous avons besoin. »
« Tu as besoin de quelque chose ? » demanda-t-elle en levant les yeux vers lui.
« Je le pense. Les papas aussi ont le cœur fragile. »
« Vraiment ? »
Maniac hocha la tête et déposa un léger baiser sur ses lèvres. « Je compte bien que ce soit la dernière fois que l'un de nous deux cherchera quelqu'un de spécial à chérir. Je suis une bête possessive. Nous devons faire les choses correctement. »
Elle hocha la tête, incapable de contredire sa logique. Il avait raison. Tatiana voulait un papa pour toujours.
« Alors, par où commencer ? » demanda-t-elle en bâillant d’épuisement.
« Je te suis jusqu'à chez toi et je m'assure que tu es en sécurité dans ton appartement. Je veux que tu rêves de ton papa parfait et que tu partages avec moi demain ce dont tu as besoin pour être le plus heureux. »
« Et tu me le diras aussi ? » demanda-t-elle.
"Je vais."
« D’accord. Est-ce que je peux avoir un autre baiser ? »
« Je te ferai autant de bisous que tu en auras besoin, Rainbow. J'en ai une réserve illimitée », promit Maniac.
« Même quand je suis méchant ? »
La serrant fort contre sa large poitrine, Maniac l'embrassa longuement. « Tu ne seras pas méchante. C'est ton comportement qui devra être corrigé », fit-il remarquer. « Et j'aurai toujours des bisous pour toi, Tatiana. »
« Cela me rend heureux. »
« Il est temps pour les petites filles heureuses d'être au lit », décrète Maniac, la soulevant et se levant pour lui prendre la main.
« Pourquoi m'as-tu appelé Rainbow ? » demanda-t-elle alors qu'il la raccompagnait à la porte.
« Parce que tu es la petite fille la plus colorée que j'aie jamais connue. » Il lui sourit.
Vingt minutes plus tard, Tatiana pressa ses doigts froids contre sa bouche gonflée de baisers tandis qu'elle frappait à la surface intérieure de sa porte d'entrée. Maniac montait la garde à l'extérieur, refusant de partir avant d'être sûr que tout était en sécurité à l'intérieur. Ils savaient tous les deux que s'il était entré, il ne serait jamais parti.
« Est-ce que c’est vraiment en train d’arriver ? » demanda-t-elle. Sa voix résonna dans la pièce silencieuse après que le bruit du camion se fut estompé.
Le silence s'installa autour d'elle. Tatiana s'était habituée à être seule. Son emploi du temps chargé ne lui permettait pas de passer beaucoup de temps seule dans son appartement. Maintenant, en écoutant le murmure des bruits de ses voisins et de l'extérieur, elle se sentait seule pour la première fois depuis longtemps. Tatiana se serra dans ses bras et ne put résister à danser en rond.
C'était un bon signe de remarquer qu'elle était seule. Seul quelqu'un qui aurait quelque chose de mieux à comparer se rendrait compte qu'il lui manquait quelque chose, ou quelqu'un. Serrant plus fort ses bras autour d'elle, Tatiana était à la fois excitée et nerveuse. Cela pourrait être la meilleure chose qui lui soit arrivée, ou la pire.

I didn't really get into this book. Both main characters are tattoo aritsits who have worked together for years, then they get together and he becomes her 'daddy' and she her 'little' but it comes across awkward. Granted I haven't read a lot of this trope... Oh and the flirty kumquat is a cupcake from down the street and they get it as a tatoo to symbolise their love...

A wonderful read, two individuals that have worked together for years a Daddy and Little in love
Tatiana has been a partner with Maniac and they own a tattoo parlour that has built up a great reputation, they work hard and they have become very close as both work partners and also as best friends. They spend a great deal of time with each other and even though they are happy they know that there is something missing and Maniac decides that he is going to have to take the first brave step.
Tatiana had a Daddy once before and he had hurt her deeply and from this point she had given up on her little burying her deep inside and this side of her has remained hidden except for when she is at home and feels relaxed enough, she the has tea parties and colours and hoped deep down inside that maybe one day she might find her own daddy.
As the begin their journey together it is surprising how quickly they become a firm Daddy and Little and he is able to keep her little in line ensuring that she eats and drinks enough, also so that she has a bed time. Tatiana has been a partner with Maniac and they own a tattoo parlour that has built up a great reputation, they work hard and they have become very close as both work partners and also as best friends. They spend a great deal of time with each other and even though they are happy they know that there is something missing and Maniac decides that he is going to have to take the first brave step.
Tatiana had a Daddy once before and he had hurt her deeply and from this point she had given up on her little burying her deep inside and this side of her has remained hidden except for when she is at home and feels relaxed enough, she the has tea parties and colours and hoped deep down inside that maybe one day she might find her own daddy.
As the begin their journey together it is surprising how quickly they become a firm Daddy and Little and he is able to keep her little in line ensuring that she eats and drinks enough, also so that she has a bed time. This story is about a young woman named Tatiana and a guy named Maniac. They work together at a tattoo shop. Tatiana thought that she knew everything there was to know about Maniac her coworker. His dominant side is often on display. She learns that he has a much softer Daddy side.
Maniac looks like a biker outlaw. He starts to see Tatiana’s Little side. He wants to be her Daddy. He can no longer stay away from her Little side. I wanted to know more about the Marine that went to the tattoo shop instead of about Maniac and Tatiana. Tatiana and Maniac didn’t visit the cupcake shop often in this story which was disappointing. I also wanted to know more about the new guy that started working with Tatiana and Maniac. I didn’t see Maniac as a Dominant at all in this book. I also felt that Tatiana wasn’t much of a Little in this story. I hope that the Marine that visited the tattoo shop will get a book in this series.

Get ready for Little Cakes Book #12! Maniac and Tatiana own the tattoo shop in town together and have both had this attraction for a while. Finally oneday Maniac let's Tatiana know in no uncertain terms that she is the Little for him. Tatiana was unsure because she had been hurt by a Daddy before. Maniac is in it for the long haul and has patience with her never wavering in his want and love for her, determined to prove it to her.
This book was so sweet and fun to read. And it had some steam and some spanking as well which added to the story.
The authors continue to add fresh ideas to the cupcake storylines which make them a delight to read while letting us catch up on past characters.
Grab this latest book, you don't need to read the others first, this is a stand-alone. But why not indulge in the entire series?

This is my new favorite in the Little Cakes series! I love tattoos, piercings, and Littles but they are are not often found in the same place like in this story.
Tatiana and Maniac own and run their shop together and have been close friends for years. At the end of the last book, Sweet Tooth, the have “a moment“ that sets their story, Flirty Kumquat, in motion. You don’t have to read the previous book in order to enjoy this one, but tbh, you should read the whole series because it is so good.
Not only did I love it the concept of a tatted, pierced, and scantily dressing Little, but this definitely felt like a “cinnamon roll” read. There was very little-to-no angst (when there was an issue it was immediately resolved); it was a sweet story about close friends becoming even closer lovers pretty seemlessly.
This story has DDlg, spanking and masochism, very mild moments of ABDL, the tattooing and piercing process, and a HEA.

This was by far my favorite Little Cakes book! Maniac & Tatiana were not the normal Daddy/little girl and I absolutely loved it! Both are tattoo artists that co-own a shop together. This book is a little bit kinkier with the smexy scenes and I loved how it showed that not all times has to be gentle.
Maniac is hands down one of my favorite book Daddies. He listened to Tatiana while also being her Daddy. I loved how he gave her a choice about certain things instead of just telling her.
Tatiana was a bada** in her own right. She didn't let anyone run over her while letting herself have a Daddy. I could see myself in her many different ways. I'll always cherish when she showed that certain tattoo. It was so sweet that it brought tears to my eyes.

I enjoyed this story with the Flirty Kumquat cupcake at the centre of the story and the way that the business partners finally acted on their dreams. I love Maniac and how protective he was of Titiana and how hard she tried to be good even though she failed occasionally. Their easy relationship was lovely to see and the way that they resolved their problems was also good to see. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is a story containing mature content with a BSDM-like DDLG relationship.

This is the first book that I have read in this series and this type. This storyline is centered around a daddy/little girl relationship. If you don't know anything about this type of relationship this is a great series to learn about it.

This story started with a bang and the authors didn't let up from there. Tatiana and Maniac have been friends and business partners for years, so when each of them discover the other may be just what they've always been looking for (DD/lg) sparks start to fly. Tatiana has been burned in the past by a bad D type that wasn't what he portrayed. And of course neither one of them wants to ruin their partnership if things don't work out. But Maniac knows what he wants and goes for it and Tatiana is more than willing. I love that she's a character who's not afraid to ask for what she wants. And she knows when she's screwed up and apologizes. These two give me all the feels and their HEA is perfect.

While I normally enjoy these stories, I thought that there was too much that was brushed upon. I also didn't think highly of Maniac either as a Daddy. To receive a nipple piercing is a personal choice and should not be sprung upon someone in my opinion. I also thought that Maniac shouldn't have given her any type of supplement without her knowledge and consent. While she may be little, she is still an adult and as such she should make her own decisions on what to take and not to take. He went about things totally wrong in my opinion. A daddy he so did not make. While he liked to discipline her for not communicating, what about him? What a POS in my opinion. Tatiana could have done so much better than Maniac!

It is a lovely change for the characters to jump into their new relationship right from the start.
As known entities in the series, we know a little about them, and this fits right in. If this is your first book in the series, it's all covered soon enough so it won't disappoint.
Tatiana and Maniac are great characters. Both with history that will surface and a lasting friendship and business that will keep them close. It was a bright day when this couple were put together.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story, its twists, and turns. Full of fun, love and passion, and with a past intervening.
I highly recommend this book, series, and authors.

Flirty Kumquat by Pepper North and Paige Michaels is the twelfth book in the Little Cakes series, and it was simply EVERYTHING I needed it to be and more! I had hopes and dreams for Maniac and Tatiana's story, and this surpassed it all.
They're such a wonderful pair! Some unrequited feelings, work colleagues and friends to lovers, and all about open and honest communication. It was such a refreshing read! That balance of going after what you want, and learning to accept what you need, even if it's different from what you thought was right.
This story is all about trust and acceptance and love and living life unapologetically and full of color!

OMG! This was a fantastic book to read it had me sucked in from the start, the story was exhilarating and the characters were really amazing. This story was about Tatiana and Maniac, Maniac bought a tattoo shop and he had Tatiana another tattooist a co-owner, they have worked together for years and Maniac has loves Tatiana for years. Tatiana has this crush on Maniac but never done anything about it, Tatiana is a little but that side of her never came out. Maniac was doing some renovations at his home. The heat between them was hot and steamy, but when things don't go as smooth things changed.

Tatiana and Maniac have been going round and round. They are business partners but now Maniac wants to move their relationship up. They have both wanted to be together but it a bad Daddy experience for Tatiana that tests them. She has to open up and learn to truly trust Maniac. He does nothing but spoil her. He is always there and lets her be her little self. I love that he is always surprising her and making her little come out. I love the fun loving way Tatiana is. Maniac is the protective Daddy that will always be there for her. Even when there was a tiny issue, they worked it out. I can’t wait for the next story with Grayson, Valerie and the Birthday Cupcake.

Gruff, but sweet Daddy, Maniac finally did something about his longtime need for his co-owner Tatiana, and claimed his precious little girl. These two tattoo artists are so sweet together, growing into their new dynamic. Maniac kept calling her Rainbow so it's a shame the authors had already used that title. Other than they both liked the new flavor cupcake, it had no meaning to their story. It felt forced. That said, it was nice to finally get their story. I have to say that wearing a feathered dress and stilettos to ink someone sounded a bit strange even for Tatiana.

Tatiana and Maniac have loved each other for years, but both were afraid to risk their friendship and business partnership to do anything about it. Maniac has long suspected Tatiana was a Little girl, and when he let on that was a Daddy, he couldn't wait for her to be HIS Little girl. Their story was well worth the wait. This is the best book so far! Written by two of the best authors in the genre, this one is hawt. The spicy scenes are incredible, and their commitment day at the end was awesome. Flirty Kumquat is absolutely one clickable. You won't regret it.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I really enjoyed Tatiana and Maniac's story. They are business partners and great friends, but have been trying to hide something important from each other. They tiptoe around their feelings until some of the other Littles give him his opening. Maniac is going to show her that he can be the Daddy she's always needed. This story was one I just breezed right thru. It wasn't as detailed as some of the other books, but that didn't take away from this sweet DDlg romance. As always, I'm looking forward to the next Little girl who finds the Daddy of her dreams. And the next flavor too, of course

This book was 100% not for me. I am not one to judge people for what they are into and don’t plan to start now. However, I’ve never understood the appeal of age-play and reading it on page was simply confirmation. The characters themselves were somewhat likable but the story was incredibly fast paced (warp speed) and went from 0 to 60 in just a few paragraphs. Even though this is not something I would normally read nor pick up again, there were some entertaining parts so it wasn’t all bad. I think that for the right (targeted) audience, it could be a good book.

This one starts with a bang and keeps your interest all the way through. With a lot to lose, Maniac and Tatiana are hesitant and careful with becoming involved, I love that they decided the relationship was worth the risk.
Tatiana and Maniac are a highly creative couple, their imaginations will keep you amused and their steamy interactions will keep you warm. They are as coquettish as the Flirty Kumquat and seriously sexy at times. The story wrapped up well but I was still sorry it ended.

Flirty Kumquat is Tatiana and Maniac's story. This is a sweet Little book. Maniac is a gentle giant of a Daddy and Tatiana is the appearance of a bada$$ Little girl. They've owned the tattoo shop for years together, having feelings for each other but neither wanting to take the chance of ruining their working relationship. I loved how gentle Maniac the tough tattoo artist is. And how strong Tatiana is. These Little Cake books are such a fun place to visit. There is something soothing about them. This is a great addition to the Little Cakes series. We met Maniac and Tatiana in Sweet Tooth and I have been waiting for their story ever since. Maniac finally admits that he wants to be Tatiana's Daddy and Tatiana has the courage to try again after being hurt in a previous Daddy/Little relationship. The two are sweet and their story moves quickly, but it is very believable as they had a relationship as business owners together for years. Their HEA happens and we meet a new possible Little at the end.

LOVED this book! After meeting Tatiana and Maniac I was looking forward to them getting a story (cause of course you knew they were going to together)! Once they decided to give the relationship a shot you knew it was the right thing for them. As friends and partners and as Daddy and little they're perfect for each other. And when problems pop up, cause they always do in a relationship, they work it out and of course there's heat! And the cupcake sounds delicious, well they all do! Can't wait for the next cupcake um story :)

I couldn’t give this one 5 stars it felt incomplete! She didn’t give the picture to Ellie, we don’t know if she moved in with him, it felt like a hfn and not a hea ending, they made a point to talk about getting tested and we never found out any results, I didn’t feel like we got much growth or even background on Manic, the random chick Beth was introduced just to cause a conflict which I felt wasn’t necessary, very abrupt ending as well! I believe I could’ve really liked Manic and Tatiana’s story because of their personalities and relationship but unfortunately I needed more!
