The Savior of Miller's Crossing

Rate this book
Years have passed since Jacob’s last visit out to the scar, and things have settled down and worked into a normal rhythm of life, or as normal as it can be while running a farm and having a small child. That is not to say Miller’s Crossing doesn’t continue to experience visitors from time to time. Jacob and Edward work together to welcome those of the paranormal type, while mapping them to learn all they can about the haunting landscape of their town.

Visitors of another type have become all too common as well, with rumors of what happened at Miller’s Crossing running rampant on the Internet. Jacob and Edward handle those too, and protect the secret that lies within their town’s borders.. When those rumors attract the attention of a ghost haunting television show, they face the most serious threat any of them have ever seen to their town’s secret while the mere presence of its host threatens to resurrect old ghosts.
Miller’s Crossing needs a savior to help protect it and restore the peace. The question is, will anyone step up to the task, or will the town finally be overtaken by what haunts it?

The Savior of Miller’s Crossing is the final book in the Miller’s Crossing series.

This is the final book in the Miller's Crossing series. I was a bit disappointed. I felt there were so many really good characters that were never really filled out. Considering the subject matter and the events between the pages, there could have been so much more. It felt somewhat rushed at the end for me. Not to say there was not a story, there was... and an ending to a pretty good series. Guess I was greedy and wanted it all. I felt like I left the table before dessert.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my honest and unbiased opinion of the tale.

The Savior of Miller’s Crossing, the final book in the Miller’s Crossing, is a great paranormal read. Jacob Meyer and his father Edward have been busy trying to rid the town of ghosts and mapping problem areas. When a paranormal television show decides to film in their small town, problems will arise. Their last locations may have been…. exaggerated, but Miller’s Crossing is the real deal. The whole town is put in danger when the host decides to wander off and do the unthinkable. The Meyer family will be reunited once again when Sarah Meyer joins them to rid themselves of the demons that are wreaking havoc on the town. David Clark has written a nail-biting conclusion to this series. All the books in this series are all well-written supernatural thrillers with great characters and fantastic storylines. Though it is sad to see it end, the stories will continue with Sister Sarah. I look forward to reading them. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A formidable evil

Jacob and his family have to keep Miller's Crossing safe from demonic infestation. It's easier said than done. When a paranormal investigator and his team visit Miller's Crossing, all hell breaks loose. Can Jacob save the town or are they forever doomed? An interesting though tragic story about a family's constant battle with the forces of evil and the terrifying aftermath. Gut wrenching and blood curdling.

The Savior of Miller Crossing is the 5th and final book in the series and like it's predecessors a great read. Jacob Meyers and his father are still working hard to keep Miller's Crossing safe from the paranormal entities that haunt it. This book wraps up a lot of loose ends in the series and has some heartbreaking moments but was a great read.
I received an arc copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book was dark and depressing! Had I known this before I started reading it, I probably wouldn’t have read it.
