All the glitter of the Times Square Ball Drop can’t top this dazzling exclusive…
When ex-military intelligence officer, Hollis Gifford III, returns home to New York, he never expects to be at the heart of a scandal that thrusts him into the spotlight. But learning his friend’s brother is missing gives Hollis a chance to lay low and repay a debt at the same time. Except when he finds the man working undercover to get a story, Hollis is forced to join the operation to keep him under surveillance.
Journalist Aiden Carter is hot on the trail of a crooked senator about to con innocent people of their money. The story is huge and could make Aiden’s career, so he can’t afford to get distracted by Hollis’s perfect abs and pretty smile. But when the guy wants to drag him home for the holidays, Aiden won’t back down…even if it means bringing Hollis into his investigation.
As they work together, the chemistry between them reaches the boiling point, but will Aiden be the man to make tight-laced Hollis come undone?
T.S. Ankney read her first romance novel at age twelve, when she snuck a book with a risqué cover out of a relative’s cabinet and read it at night under the covers with a flashlight to avoid getting caught relishing the “good parts." She is a tiny blue dot in a big red state in the Midwest US and she loves a sad song, a happily ever after, and believes representation matters. When not writing, you can find T.S. streaming documentaries, reading new books by her favorite authors, or indulging in reality TV competition shows like Project Runway or Great British Baking Show.
Aiden went undercover to get a story on a senator didn’t let his brother know what he was doing, Nash had his friends Afar and Hollis helping him with finding Aiden. Hollis finally found him but Aiden talked Hollis into not letting the others know, when the senator’s men took them Hollis gave it all up to save their lives. Even though they were in love Aiden refused to see Hollis for awhile but had to work through things. Good book!.

We finally get to know what Nash's brother, Aiden, has been up to. We also get to see Hollis finally find the right person for him. This has been an entertaining series and this finale is just as good as the previous books in the series.
This book follows P-ining For You and S-mitten For You, following the same group of characters, but each book focusing on a different pair as the main characters. This time it is Aiden, an investigative reporter and brother of Hollis’s friend Nash, and Hollis, an ex-military intelligence officer. Aiden has been missing for 3 weeks working on a story to expose a senator involved in a plan to scam investors, and Hollis is trying to find him for his friend. Hollis locates Aiden but Aiden convinces him not to tell Nash where he is or that he is safe as long as Aiden agrees to let Hollis stay with him to keep him safe. An uneasy truce is set up, made more difficult by a strong sexual attraction. Hollis is rich, not a good thing to be from Aiden’s standpoint, also causing mistrust on Aiden’s part. As Aiden pressures the senator, there is pushback and danger to both men. How they deal with the distrust on methods and motives and the attraction between them to get the story out and investors protected completes the book. The other characters are familiar friends if the first 2 books have been read, and the backstories on each add dimension to the tale. Easy to read and stay interested, and it winds up the 3 book series, although each can be read as a stand alone.

This is the third book in the Codename 3Magi series. Hollis used to be an intelligence office in the military, and back home in New York. He expects to live in peace and quiet, but he is thrust into turmoil when a scandal rocks his hometown. Aiden is a journalist who is doing a story on a senator suspected of criminal activity. They end up working together to get to the bottom of the situation and as they investigate, things start to get hot between the two of them.
I liked this book even though mystery and mayhem would not be what I chose to read about. The storyline was interesting and fun, with some exciting things happening. The MC’s had great chemistry and their interactions were funny, thrilling, interesting, and romantic at turns. I read the other three books, and while this book can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the other two books first. This was a fun holiday read.

Aiden Carter is an investigative reporter and Nash’s brother. Hollis Gifford III, Nash’s buddy, is an ex-military intelligence officer asked to help find Aiden who has disappeared. Aiden is actually working on a big story about a dishonest senator. Although Hollis successfully tracks Aiden down, Aiden asks him not to jeopardize his story by revealing what’s going on before his is ready. Hollis agrees to that as long as Aiden will allow him to protect him until the investigation is over. Working together, their attraction heats up. Will the two of them be able to fight their feelings for each other? Or will the distraction put them both in deeper danger?
T.S. Ankney wraps up all the loose ends that we had left as readers of the 'Codename: 3Magi' series. It was fun to read this book and see Hollis finding his person and closer by than he could expected. The mystery where Aiden was and why is cleared up as well. This quick read mystery set around Christmas and New Year left me with a satisfied and relaxt feeling, as I presume the characters are as well with all their happy ever afters.

Instead he tries to help Aiden but things don't go to plan. Luckily Hollis' friends find a way to make things work out. However, Hollis' actions might lose him Aiden but Aiden forgives him. Love wins in the end.
It has been fun following this series of interconnected stories. Hollis and Aiden's story provided a satisfying conclusion to the mystery. Hollis gets to be not only a good investigator trying to find the brother of his friend, when he finds Aiden he also finds his guy. Nice conclusion!.
