Working with the Moon is deeply rooted in the history of the Divine Feminine , led by wise women, healers, medicine women, and our own maternal ancestors who intuitively followed and worshipped the cycles of the Moon. Unfortunately, much of our intuitive knowing and maternal wisdom was lost during the burning times because our mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers learned the hard way that maintaining their silence was the only way to protect us. But the world has changed , and we have finally realised that the time for silence has ended . We are ready to step up and embrace the power we’ve always held inside, but have been disconnected from for so long. By r econnecting with the Moon cycles , and harnessing her natural rhythm , flow, and energetics, we not only remember, re-align, and become more complete, but we allow ourselves to dream bigger and manifest more powerfully because we’re no longer restrained by the paradigm of fear. This book is an important part of our ancestral feminine healing —for leaders like you to step up, share your voice, speak your truth, and heal the collective by sharing the tools they need in order to heal themselves. There is no one "right" way to work with the moon, which is why Lunar Wisdom showcases the knowledge, wisdom, and magic of fourteen divine lunar women including Certified Moonologers, High Priestesses, Witches, and Coaches who incorporate everything from crystals, herbs, astrology, yoga, menstrual wisdom, and somatic principles into their own personal practices. Each woman's journey is unique in its own way and seeks to serve as inspiration for you to incorporate the elements that resonate for you as you craft your own, perfectly aligned practice.
Lunar Wisdom features stories from authors Alyssa Fry, Amanda Norr, Erin Neuhardt, Jenny Alberti, Jess Johnson, Jessica Strubin-Homan, Kathryn Toomey, Lori Hernandez, Monica de Vitry, Ruth Fae, Sarah Tricker, Stephanie Moyer, Telisha Webster, and Tracey Brown.
I just bought the book Lunar Wisdom today and started reading right away. It's so well written that it easily engages your interest. What a great idea! Bringing 13 women together who connect with the Divine Feminine through their connection to the Moon to share their wide ranging experiences provides a treasure trove of information that is sure to meet the needs of just about everyone. I've only had time to read the first chapter, Unveiling the Magic Within by Alissa Fry. This is the perfect place to start. An accountant leaves her corporate job and makes the leap into entrepreneurship and the spiritual life she was always meant to live. She says she "came out of the broom closet"! I love that! I left the conservative Christian church in order to live my authentic life so I connected deeply with this first chapter. I still have a lot to read, but if this first chapter is any indication, and I know it is, I'm in for a treat! I highly recommend Lunar Wisdom.
What woman doesn't feel drawn by the moon on some level? Its beauty and pull quietly shape our lives in so many ways. This book taught me so many new ways to take control of the awesome power of the lunar cycles. Each of these strong women authors leads us through a small part of their own journey to lunar discovery, then teaches how to find the wisdom within yourself and each cycle of the moon. This way of laying out the instructions in the narrative makes it feel less like a textbook and really lets you get a sense where each author is coming from. I've already recommended Lunar Wisdom to all my friends.
