Fernando, the notorious Butcher, it's a cold man, known for doing the most infamous tasks, the things no one wants to do it.
Everyone in the mafia world have heard about him, even women and children.
And everybody is afraid of him.
When he sees Bianca, his heart begins to work, he never thought he has one.
He left Bianca's sister house and goes straight to her father's house, well guarded, but he kidnaps her anyway.
Bianca is promised to an enemy, her family is hoping with a marriage, the war will end.
Fernando won't allow Bianca to marry that man, he's well known for being a bad man.
Although Bianca is the elder, her younger sister always protected her, and now she's married.
Bianca is happy for her marriage, they love each other, but she knows if her sister still lived in her father house, Bianca won't be married.
So, when a hot stranger kidnaps her, she's happy.
Fernando, whose name nobody knew or call him, won't let that happen, he's never going to let her go.
He's a rough man, but with Bianca, he's good.
When she knows who he is, she's chocked, but their love is strong, even if they have to fight those other mafia men.
Luckily, her brother-in-law and friend of the Butcher, is going to help them.

January 3, 2024DNF at 58%. This was just really boring and unoriginal. Insta love between a naive and innocent woman and an older, violent but also golden retriever hero. No action, all the story takes place in his farm house AFTER he abducts her. She’s so ok with being kidnapped that she came off as stupid. The was way too sweet for a mafia read and included rescued kittens and dual virgins. Not for me.

This was fun and ridiculous, and I enjoyed it, which had me smiling most of the time.
Fernando/Butcher kidnapped Bianca after seeing her face while video calling her sister. And once he safely tucked them away in his safe house, he didn't know what to do with her. It was really funny how he abducted her without any plan and that Bianca was the one making demands to make herself feel at home in his house. This is probably the weirdest captive romance I've read. 😂 Fernando was so sweet, and Bianca was an adorable captive.
Also, the smut was hooot, a bit unbelievable because they acted like they weren't both virgins. They really did it like pros without any fumbling around. But then again, this is fiction, so anything is possible.
Overall, this was enjoyable. I liked the MCs and the absurdity of the plot. 😂 Definitely worth reading, and a quick one too.

Mink consistently delivers yet again with this story.
If your after over the top Alpha male, an even more over the top story than you’ve come to the right place.
Mink manages to bring romance, violence, kidnapping, and spice all together and leave you wanting more.
As always her female leads are relatable and likeable. The male leads are swoon worthy in their devotion to the love of their lives. Just add in kittens and you have your next five star read!

This one was sooooo cute and sooooo sweeetttt!!!! A giant mafia monster fell in love with another innocent girl who was going to marry someone her mafia father forced her to.
When she beams at me, my cold heart does a stutter step, and I have to keep my eyes on the road so I don’t do anything stupid. Anything like—like kissing her. Because damn do I want to take her mouth, to feel how soft she is, to taste her tongue and more. So much more. Because I’m a beast, and this innocent soul beside me is a lure I can’t seem to resist. She’s like a bit of shiny perfection, and I’m a crow who can’t look at anything else.
I don’t remember how many books of Mink I had read, but her writing always captivated me in a new way, even though the story was short, the storylines always perfect!!!

It’s MINK, baby!! So, of course it was awesome and had everything I love: a ruthless hero insanely obsessed with his woman and a sweet, innocent, slightly adorkable heroine who brings him to his knees. Butcher is a vicious and brutal killer, but with Bianca he shows her his vulnerable side. I loved that he melted only for her, and that she could draw out his tender side. SWOOOON!!!
Totally safe. Dual virgins. No others; very minor OM drama from a rival mafia family who has been contracted to marry the h, even though h doesn’t want to marry him. No cheating or sharing or abuse. HEA with epilogue

classic mink/ mafia world (like Marcos girl)/insta
If you liked “Marco’s girl” By mink this is within the same world but a diff mafia family. I loved it. Sweet,
Spicy, Instalove with of course some kittens lol but the cats were actually a minimum in this one.
Some things:
-Instalove… which is what this author does. Short and to the point and I love it. Mink is a always a good read to me.
-OTT JP H
-our H is known as the “butcher” he’s the guy who gets all the answers for his family the Palermo’s. I always love seeing the cold, crazy wet work guy go soft for his h and our H goes gooey eyed for his h
-our h is a mafia princess whose been kept behind the gates for so long.
-H sees h over a Skype call to her sister (who is married to H boss -unexpected queen is that book I believe) and he runs out and over to her to kidnap her bc he knows she’s is his lol.

El carnicero puede haber cometido un gran error al secuestrar a la cuñada de su jefe pero no se arrepiente. Cuando la vio en la pantalla del ordenador hablando con su hermana supo que tenía que tenerla, no podía dejar que se casase con el imbécil que la habían prometido y si para ello tenía que secuestrarla que así fuese. Además Bianca tampoco parece demasiado asustada... No es eso raro?
Ay es un libro cuanto menos entre raro y divertido. Ver la inocencia de Fernando y Bianca me ha producido ternura y diversión. Fernando un asesino profesional que no sabe qué hacer con Bianca y Bianca que nunca ha sido secuestrada diciéndole que va a ser la mejor secuestrada del mundo 🤣. Os juro que me producen una ternura increíble. Es un buen libro para pasar el rato.
Ay es un libro cuanto menos entre raro y divertido. Ver la inocencia de Fernando y Bianca me ha producido ternura y diversión. Fernando un asesino profesional que no sabe qué hacer con Bianca y Bianca que nunca ha sido secuestrada diciéndole que va a ser la mejor secuestrada del mundo 🤣. Os juro que me producen una ternura increíble. Es un buen libro para pasar el rato.

This probably has to be one of my favorites by Mink so far- the comfort/care fueled a part of me 💀- it was so cute 😭.
I was a bit confused at the start of the book- because it started immediately from where the previous book ended (and I sort of forgot every single character/ the general plot). But once I figured it out, this was just great 💀.
Butcher and Bianca were the ultimate couple, and the definition of grumpxsunshine- it was so sweet djshddjsdhjs 💕

I enjoyed Bianca and Fernando 'The Butcher' for the most part. This one was very much an insta-love and was etching closer to the type that I don't really like.
Bianca was described almost as someone who can't or doesn't know how to stand up for herself. I liked her for the first portion of the book. She started to grate on my nerves just a bit the more the book went on. I however, enjoyed how she was with Butcher. She didn't treat him any different and didn't shy away from him.
Now Butcher I liked. He had that dominant, alpha attitude I love. I do wish we would've had more background on him. He clearly has more in his past that caused him to be so withdrawn from everyone.
This was another quick ending, but it was a good ending for them.

I really like the premise of this book and the dynamic between the fmc and mmc, but it was plenty cheesy, especially the fmc. I get that she’s supposed to be totally sheltered and innocent, but I got some second hand embarrassment from her dialog. (Such as standing up for herself by telling her dad she was full of the mmcs cum 🥴)
It’s OTT/instalove, which I don’t mind. It felt like a fated-mates alien romance (which is a good thing for me haha) but with a mafia setting, which just didn’t quite seem to work for me. Maybe mafia romance just isn’t my thing 🤷♀️

Thought this was a one-shot, so I had read this out of order in the Unexpected series which was a pretty considerable mistake on my end.
I was, by no fault of the author, confused throughout a lot of the book because of characters that weren't introduced, or because of important context being mentioned off-handedly as if it was already gone into detail about before.
But! It was a cute, short and corny read overall, one that I don't regret picking up and am glad to have given a try.

Liked this almost as his clever kitten ! One of the better Mink books. Mink is great at committing to a bit and doing it well. These are candy books. Easy. Funny. All in MMCs and FMCs all into the violence, kidnapping and whatnot.

Deliciously dark and twisted, this little mafia romance is both sweet and naughty.
I got a glimpse of this couple in the previous novella, so I was really into the story of Bianca and the Butcher. I love this trope! The innocent mafia princess and the notorious killer. Here, she is kidnapped, and he doesn't know what to do with his captive because he's never felt the need to care, protect and touch. She inspires all that in him. It's adorable. She is also quite content with her captor because he is gentle, unsure, protective, and even hot. A match made in upside down heaven :-D
I had a lot of fun with this story. The awkward kidnapping situation becomes funny and warm. It has its very steamy moments, a feline appearance that I always welcome with glee, a romantic couple of opposites attract, a vengeful action-filled resolution, and a satisfyingly domestic ending. I also appreciated the fact that she feels free for the first time in her life, and that he has the chance to experience more than bloodshed, to feel love and light in his heart.

Bianca and Fernando were fantastic together. I loved that this book picked up where the first one ended and continued on. I loved Bianca and her funny yet sweet way and how she didn’t let Fernando’s history color her feelings. Fernando was possessive and protective of Bianca but so is she with him. I loved this book and I can’t wait for Gilly’s book next.

Bianca was sweet as heck. I loved when reading Angelica’s story, Angelica talked often about how wonderful Bianca was and how she deserved the world. Biance does the same. She is constantly praising Angelica and showing her love and adoration for her. It’s sweet to read about.
There was great dialogue in this book. Their banter was the best. The moment Bianca tried cheering Fernando up.
When she told off a room full of mafia men in the funniest way.

You meet Butcher in Unexpected Queen, he is Antonio’s enforcer. When he sees Bianca on the Skype call with Angelica he is compelled to go save her. He doesn’t understand the feelings he is having regarding her, he just knows he has to go get her. Bianca has been told her whole life that she is to be quiet and just sit there looking beautiful, her worth to her family is her beauty and the advantageous crime family match she can make for the Larone family. Her father has promised her to a terrible man, when Antonio kills him the father plans to give her to the younger brother. So when Butcher comes to get her she is relieved. He kidnaps her and takes her to his remote cabin in the woods. She thinks he will ransom her to her father or Antonio. Butcher doesn’t understand why she’s not afraid of him or screaming and crying. She asks him his name and he tells her it’s Fernando, to her he is her savior Fernando and he is kind and gentle with her. She feels safe with him and is attracted to him. They soon go from kisses to sexy oral times, it was funny how he wouldn’t have sex with her and she’s miffed at him. They finally have their first time together and it’s sweet and sexy, dual virgins. When Antonio and Angelica show up she finds out her Fernando is the feared Butcher she’s mad at him for not telling her but she forgives him. He is devoted to her and helps her realize she’s more than a beautiful bargaining chip. Her father demands to see her so she can be given to the bad guys. At the meeting she finds her backbone and tells her father and supposed fiancé off by telling them she’s a filthy girl who has her man’s cum inside her. I absolutely loved Butcher/Fernando and Bianca's story.
After learning about the Butcher in Antonio and Angelica's story, I knew it would take an especially positive and upbeat person to catch his heart.
Bianca Larone is her father's pride and joy. The daughter he will marry off to only the best or to the man who will help gain more power for his family. When Bianca finds herself being kidnapped she embraces being away from her father's iron fist and maybe she can use her kidnappers apparent feelings for her to her advantage.
Fernando aka The Butcher has embraced who he's become. He's the muscle for the Palermo family that never shows emotion and can do all the dirty work that would normally make a grown man cringe. However, when he sees Bianca, even through a computer screen, he experiences something that he's never felt or known before, and when he finds himself making a rash kidnapping he can't explain the hold Bianca already holds over him.
The Palermo famly may have taken care of the man meant for Bianca, but when one man falls in their world there is always another ready to step up and take their place. Plus Bianca's father isn't ready to give up his quest to marry Bianca off for money and power.
Everyone may have thought the Butcher was dangerous before. But nobody knows just how dangerous a man who has everything to live for can be.
