But when I discover my novelist idol's teaching creative writing?
I think I might survive my senior year with the pretentious assholes at EHP.
Beckett Fitzpatrick is dangerously hot, and somehow, I catch his attention. My professor doesn't care about the rules, not when he's decided I'm his.
His obsession. His weakness. His everything.
It's only a matter of time before everyone finds out what we do behind closed doors, but it doesn't matter. He'll never let me go--not with The Savage Six at his back.
When the other scholarship students start to go missing, he promises nothing will touch me. See, my serial killer boyfriend's got more blood on his hands than Jack the Ripper.
And when he changes both our lives forever, I learn just how psycho Professor Fitzpatrick can get...
NOTE: This book is a DARK ROMANCE with a forbidden student-teacher relationship, age gap (28/18), and breeding k!nk. If you don't like your stories violent and sexy, skip this one.
It’s great to meet you! I’m a socially-awkward introvert who loves love stories. I’m not awesome at singing or keeping my house clean, but I somehow find the time to obsessively read romance novels. I consider it one of my many talents.
In my opinion, you can never have too many books (or french fries…), messy buns are a girl’s best friend, and I’d probably die without my laptop. If I wasn’t over-committing myself to future stories or procrastinating to meet my deadlines, I’m not quite sure what I’d do with myself.
Be sure to find all sorts of sneak peeks and my more than likely cuss-word filled rantings over on the blog. Oh, and if you’re a fan of getting in the mood to read and connecting to the characters that way, check out the playlists that accompany each story in the “Playlists” tab.
Disappointing… after that scene in book 1 where Tristen’s eyes flashed when he looked at Waverly I RAN to see if book 2 would be about them. It is not. And sighs… yeah… disappointed. And seriously why is there one year between book 1’s release date and this book’s release date?? ONE YEAR??
🌟Brief Summary: ⭐️🌟⭐️ All my stars are for Beckett he was the best thing about this book.
-There is a spree of murders happening in Emerald Hills and for our resident serial killer that’s just I acceptable. Beckett goes under cover at Emery Prep HS to find out why the students are disappearing and showing up dead.
-There he finds out the girl who he has been obsessing over since they had a night of debauchery is his student. He always planned to find her and now nothing will stop him from having her.
-Ok… I loved Beautiful Carnage the first book in this series. Cole is my man💗. And with the running theme of the series each book will have some kind of Trope. Book 1- Age gap/Fathers best friend Book 2- Age gap/Teacher Student
-Along with the tropes we have an overall story arch for the group these men belong to call Savage Six. A group of men who keep the criminal world under control all the while sating their blood lust.
‼️ Opinion‼️:
😡I thought I was getting a story of a members of the Savage Six and what I got was a fake teacher student trope with a very small dash of the Savage Six and almost NO over all Savage Six storyline.
-I should have loved this book! It has Beckett and it had alot of tropes I love as well as all the amazing things you get with a psycho serial killer hero….. but instead I found myself so BORED😭. It took me almost 4 days to finish this!!!! 4!!!!!
❤️Let me start with what I LOVED❤️ BECKETT! Gah he carried this whole Vey Long book. He’s everything a Psycho hero should be. -Successful, Rich, psycho, bloodthirsty, a meme her of the Savage Six. -Touch her and die…litterly -Stalker, watch her sleep vibes -His idea of romantics gifts are giving her body parts of her enemies -Never felt an emotion till he met her and she turned his gray life into a rainbow. I loved watching him have a new feelings for the first time. -Only indulged in sex w OW after a kill otherwise didn’t have arousel until her. -Faithful, loyal ride or die for life love -Breed her keep her
"You are mine and I am yours. There is nothing on this earth that I'll ever allow to come between us. I'll give you everything, and you'll give me the same. There's no going back. No end in this life or the next. The day you take your last breath is the day I take mine. Do you understand now?"
Now for what I really struggled with. Gosh where do I start…
-First Ellery our 18yr old FMC. Gosh this girl was so uninspired. I think I’m an attempt to make her story sad and make her seem so strong and independent she just came off as annoying with a lack of an identity. She was all over the place and I just couldn’t connect with her.
-I absolutely did not think her independent touch girl act was working. He always saying she couldn’t be w her “Professor” cause she just had to go it alone for life. The pick pocketing & working herself into the ground just didn’t work for me.
-Then she’s blood thirty to 🤦🏼♀️ I like that but it was like she just kept coming up with new personality traits out of the blue just for the story line.
-Bottom line I just didn’t connect with her and at one point skimmed her POV cause I just felt MEH about her.
🙄Don’t get me started on the whole Professor thing… gah it was added just for the trope. It was a repetitive point of friction that just made no sense. He was NOT a professor HE IS A SERIEL KILLER AND A HORROR NOVELIST….he was there for one year undercover and didn’t give a shit about it. So getting caught having relationship w a 18yr old student had no real consequences for either really. It was dumb and boring. Also, she called him professor constantly and used it as a reason not to be with him BUT HE WAS SO MANY THINGS! A professor was of the least and the shortest of them all. Like really he wasn’t even a professor. It was SO ANNOYING! Stop saying it for the sake of the trope!!!!!!
-So much internal monologue it was so repetitive. The first 40% of the book just couldn’t keep my attention. It was like hitting the repeat button.
-The last 20% was the only real action we got in the storyline.
📖 Pages: 477! This easily could have been 250pgs

New to me Author. This is Beckett & Ellery's story.
I'd recommend reading Beautiful Carnage - Book 1 (Cole & Fallon's story) first, as not enough background is provided re: the Savage Society in Beckett's story.
************
I'll start with our anti hero- Beckett , he is an absolute psychopath, he's a killer, stalker. He is also a writer, and a Professor at Emerald Hills Prep. He takes devotion to the extreme. He'll certainly give you JP/OTT, Touch her and die vibes. He's part of the 'Savage Society', along with Cole, Xander, Tristan, Romeo & Lucas.
Ellery, is our EHP scholarship student, she ain't no lil miss innocent and harbours a Lil darkness herself.
Theme/tropes: student/teacher, age gap (18/28), breeding kink
This book has a good plot, plenty of suspense and steam. I would love to know Grave's story (Ellery's friend).
Thank you to the Author, for providing me with this ARC. 😊
Tropes Teacher/student Age gap Breeding Kink Serial Killer
I have long agonized in anticipation of this book, because for me this author is great at spelling out the breeding kink as well as Lilith Vincent - two authors who are great at describing such things.
In this book, Beckett works as a writing teacher at the school to find the second killer who has invaded the territory of the six. It is at this point that he meets his pet, who had captured his attention the day before. Beck is determined to keep her with him, she colors his world and with her he becomes a wild possessive and jealous man. He finds reasons and ways to keep her close to him, even asking Cole for advice.
Ellery - she literally tries to survive by stealing from the rich at the club, which is where she meets her professor. She tries not to rely on anyone, makes ends meet and tries not to fall for Becca's tricks, but in the end she gives up and flies like a moth to the flame. She is strong and she fights back against her abusers.
I don't want to write a whole essay on this topic, I liked this book even more than the first one. Most likely I will buy it in the paper version and I am looking forward to the third part. I send the author a huge inspiration for the next books in the series.

Dark age gap student teacher romance with breeding kink. Beckett is smitten with Ellery from the start and if anyone touches her they better start running fast. He is obsessed and she is enthralled by his possessiveness. His love for her is dark, obsessive, dominating with a splash of stalker. He's unhinged but man do I fall hard for his type and Ellery is all about his kind of love
This makes the endless internal dialogue pretty cringey at times. I skipped some of this as it got repetitive and bored. Nothing new but I loved Beckett and his psychopathic tendency. Ellert was okishh.
‼️ Safety ‼️ No cheating, no OW drama, breeding kink
Sweet Destruction is book 2 in the Savage Society of Emeral Hills series, and I definitely enjoyed more than I did book 1. Beckett is a member of the Savage Society and I wish I could remember how they came to be, but I don't, and it wasn't explained again. Beckett is a bestselling author who gets his inspirations from torturing and killing the bad guys. He has agreed to a teaching position at Emeral Hills Prep to find out why scholarship students are going missing. Ellery is an 18 year old whose life hasn't been the easiest and has found stealing from the rich is a good way to pay bills. Her first encounter with Beckett was hot and I loved when she walked into his classroom. I thought Beckett and Ellery were great together and Beckett was my favorite type of unhinged, possessive man. I enjoyed getting reacquainted with the other member and I do plan to read their books. My only complaint is that I felt the overall story was unnecessarily long and I did start to lose interest towards the end.
This book was fucking insane, not in the good way. I enjoyed the trope of the professor/student but beyond that, this book was so unbelievable and ridiculous, it honestly made me laugh most of the time.
Beckett just kills people in public and gets in no trouble? Ellery kills a man, is super traumatized by it, but then thinks it’s “so hot” when Beckett kills everyone for her?
The names in this book? Grave, Ransom, Rebel — be so for real right now. The Savage Six? An old man, a teacher, a killer priest, and they’re honestly so embarrassing when they speak, especially Xavier. It made me cringe, like it was written by a middle schooler.
Beckett cuts off a man’s hand that touches Ellery, gives it to her at school, she fucking LOVES it, and then he shrinks it down and she puts it on a necklace and no one thinks that’s weird? Ellery is caught sucking his dick under the desk and it just blew over in like 2 days?
I hate when the main characters have no conflict between them and they didn’t. The first 30% of the book was great then it went downhill fast.

I read teacher/student romance but it’s not something I seek out. I’m going to tell you guys a secret. I loved Beautiful Carnage so so much. It was my #1 read for 2022. But when I heard this one was teacher/student I just wanted to get it over with so we could get to Tristan and Waverly’s book (was planned for book 6 but the author has moved it up). This was the one I was I anticipating the least of the six guys.
Heather Ashley has blown my mind once again! Beckett is not your typical teacher. He’s a serial unαliνεr and needs to κιll. This school is also not your typical. It’s messed up big time and gets messier by the end of the story.
Beckett is everything I love. He was obsessed to the max with Ellery. He didn’t see anyone else and could only think of her. He continually watched her even while she was sleeping. Tracked her , wanted all of her time and attention. He also was fiercely protective of her. Possessive should have been Beckett’s middle name!
Ellery was fiercely independent but not in an annoying way like most heroines. She just never had anyone to depend on and it took some time for her to trust. She also likes to defy Beckett and he likes to be challenged. Ellery also loves his punishments and let me tell you I don’t blame her.
This couple was made for one another! There is an age gap. She’s 18 and I’m not sure exactly how old he is but I think 31. Βrεεding and touch her and dιε vibes big time!!! Jealous possessive and δταlκεr hero included. I also loved the side characters in this one and think they could have books all on their own. It will be interesting to see what the author does with their stories. I’m not talking about the Savage Six guys. These side characters are Ellery’s friends.
Beckett would never share or cheat on Ellery. He won’t even allow people to look at her. So completely safe.
This is one of those books that I’m buying the paperbacks, ebooks, and any other copies I can get. It’s one of my favorite. I’m giving this one 10 ⭐️s!!! Totally recommend!
Tropes: 🖤Teacher/student 🖤Age gap (28/18) 🖤Breeding Kink 🖤Serial Killer 🖤Touch her and You Die

I can say without a doubt that I absolutely loved this. Beckett was the perfect mix of crazy and possessive. This man and his obsession with Ellery were everything to me. This man never took no for an answer and look how it played out with Ellery. I loved how she pushed the boundaries with him and never gave up her independence. These two were perfection. The only issue I actually had with the book was him constantly calling her pet. Did that take away from the book no because, in the end, it was all worth reading. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
Another amazing story from Heather! I'm so happy to be back in Emerald Hills with the Savage Six!
I'm a sucker for anything forbidden so of course I loved the student/teacher relationship plot we got. I wouldn't say this story leans heavily on this trope though. There's never really any fear or push and pull, no "we shouldn't be doing this", vibe that usually comes with those types of stories. Judging by the previous book in this series I wasn't surprised at all, but it's worth noting if that's what you're looking for.
Ellery I liked her for the most part. She did do certain things that annoyed me, but I am guilty of being too harsh on my FMC's. I did also feel like I was being almost forced into thinking she was some badass rather than actually believing it from her actions? But again, this may be me being harsh on her. I also didn't like her as much as I liked Fallon from the previous book. I appreciated the way she'd taken care of herself for so long and enjoyed her independent streak, but other than that I don't have much to say on her. I think I find her somewhat disjointed in my mind. She's very independent but then doesn't push back too hard when Beckett begins to take charge in her life. Like Beckett would do something and her vibe would be "Oh. Okay." That's me kind of nitpicking though.
Beckett I was pleasantly surprised by him! He's got the same possessive nature as Cole, but I don't think he's as bad? I enjoyed seeing the vulnerable moments between him and the other Savage Six, as well as the hot as fuck, alpha moments when he's with or thinking about Ellery. For the record, I am going to be comparing him to Cole which I guess isn't totally fair, but it can't be helped. He wasn't as depraved as Mr Callahan, despite being a literal serial killer and sending Ellery body parts. Cole was possessive and controlling turned up to around 300%, whereas Beckett was around 150%. To each there own, but personally Cole does it more for me! Beckett was more on the psychopath side of things, but I feel like even that could've been explored a litttleee bit more! I'm also not a fan of the term "Pet". Nicknames don't really do it for me in general but this one might be top of the list unfortunately 😂
Everyone else I didn't particularly warm to Ellery's new friends but they weren't bad either, they were just kind of there. I was SO happy seeing the rest of the Six and Fallon. I'm happy they're all still going to have their roles in the story as this series goes on. When Cole and Fallon had their baby? Omg! I know this is wishful thinking but I really do hope we can get another novella or something from them!! Romeo is also a cheeky shit and I love how easy going he is compared to the rest of the Savages. Of the three remaining after Tristen, I don't know who I'd rather see a story form next! That's if we do get a story for each, and I hope we do!
The Story I won't lie, it was dragging for me for the first 20-30%. I don't feel like this book needed to be as long as it was. However things picked up once Ellery and Beckett's relationship began to grow, and we got into the mystery of the disappearing students. I'm excited to see where this story arc will go as we continue on with that series (I'm assuming we will get one for all of the Six? Lol? Please?). Heather Ashley writes these dark, forbidden romances so well, she really doesn't hold back on the depravity which I LOVE, and I'm really intrigued as to the questions I have after reading this instalment. What's going on with Beckett's brother? And Fallon's mother? Will Grave become part of the six? Will we see more of Reign? There is SO much to hope for with this series and this author!
I can't wait to read the next book with Tristen and Waverley! Like I need it now!
Despite enjoying this book slightly less than Beautiful Carnage, I genuinely love the world and the characters Ashley has created; all I want is more of my six possessive, murderous husbands 😍
tropes age gap, forbidden romance (student/teacher), touch her and you die, instalust kinks breeding, somnophilia, triggers dubcon, murder, kidnapping, bullying. *full list available on the authors website*
What to expect: No cheating, no owd, hea, touch her and die with actual follow through, body parts as gifts, stalking, bullying (not from mmc), murder, forced pregnancy, no third act breakup, he is ALL in, she takes a little bit of time to warm up but has the hots for him from their first meeting, breeding, primal play
- Beckett level of crazy is just 😩 his red flags are flying high and like a moth to a flame I’m here for it. he cuts off her bullies hair, kills any guy that touches her, gifts her the severed hand of one of those guys and has it shrunk and turned into a necklace for her, puts a tracker on her phone, stalks her constantly, watches her sleep, makes her quit her jobs, has her apartment trashed so she’s forced to stay with him, deliberately gets her pregnant. - For once this guy is actually competent at stalking and looking after his girl. He’s always there when she needs protecting - We learn pretty early on how deep Becketts obsession with Ellery goes and how much he loves her. There’s no risk of him hurting her or ever letting her go. - She does get taken by the enemy near the end but she’s found quickly and nothing happens to her which I liked because I hate it when authors make the fmc get sa or beaten to a pulp by the bad guys it just seems like unnecessary violence to me and is just done for shock factor. - Ellery is just as in to Beckett but takes a while to admit it as she doesn’t want to get kicked out of school for their relationship. When she finally gives in she is straight up delulu for him and I’m so proud of her - Their chemistry and steam was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 - There’s no third act breakup!! - Grave 🥵🥵🥵 I really hope there’s a spin off series where Grave, Reign, Rebel & Ransom (and maybe Fabian) are all a team like the Savage Six - I actually cried at the wedding scene and their vows. Fuck these two are perfect for each other. - I’m guessing Erika 🤮 was the woman involved with the forced baby making scheme?? And then she makes an appearance at the end. I really hope they kill her next book they should have done that at the end of book 1.

heather ashley you just might be my new one-click author because you absolutely slayed this one💅
maybe this book isn’t the BEST book to read on a family vacation because wowwieee it was hot and oh so spicyyy.
i don’t even know where to start. Beckett Fitzpatrick is the new english teacher at Emerald Hills Prep. Ellery is a new student on scholarship here but it just so happens that their paths have crossed before he was her english professor😜😜 Beckett is has very much psychopathic/sociopathic tendencies because hellloooo this man is a serial killer!!!! he gets his high from killing bad people but what happens when merely a touch from Ellery gets him that same high? Beckett is quite possibly one of the most obsessive, possessive crazy book Heroes ever. this man lived, eat and breathed Ellery. he feels suffocated if he doesn’t have his eyes on her and just the mere thought of her gets his blood goinggg😈😈
Heather Ashley really knows how to write the most insane, crazy, psycho obsessive men ever and i will eat it up every single time. this book had spice, had push and pull and had an actual conflict plot. i just love it when nerdy, psycho men falls head over heels for his woman and would do literally anything to protect her. gosh it really had allllll the best stuff in here. i also loved how fierce Ellery was. she did not bow down to Beckett right away. this girl had grit in her so i just loveddd when she didn’t listen to Beckett and does her own thing and those things tend to make Beckett crazy but in a good way.
safety: no OMD/OWD, kidnapping, serial killer H, sociopathic H, violence, gore, obsessive/possessive H, breeding kink, spanking, professor x student😌
Beckett Fitzpatrick is a member of the Savage Society, Emerald hills is his hunting ground, looking for inspiration for his next book. When he learns of scholarship kids going missing at Emerald Hills Prep he decides to join the teaching staff to find out who dares to hunt on his territory. On his first day of teaching creative writing, he sees the woman he met at a club, the woman he hasn't been able to stop thinking about, the only problem, well problem for everyone else, she's his student. Beckett doesn't care what anyone thinks, this is Emerald Hills, he and the Savage Society run this town and he will have what he wants and what he wants is Ellery.
In her 18 years Ellery has been through it, Killing her self working long hours just to pay the rent and perhaps some other non legal ways to earn, hold onto your wallets 😉 When Beckett starts to show interest, stalk and obsess , she doesn't know what to think. This is her professor its wrong to feel these things for him but she cant help herself, especially when he says and does things that make her feel safe and wanted. Perhaps she can let go, learn to trust this man who wants to give her the world.
Really loved this book. Beckett is the standard for touch her and die, burn the world down for her and Ellery matches his crazy in all matters. 10/10 would recommend.
Note, the 3rd book is not out in this series as i write this review. I am now kicking myself as i hate waiting and i really want Tristan's book especially after that tease in book 1.
dnf 58%. so many chapters and no plot. Unnecessary dragging. It can easily finished in 50 chapters but no 77 chapters hate it and no actual darkness and so basic. It nearly put me in a book slump.
liked this way better than the first one but tbf i was ill whilst reading it so that may be why i didn’t like that one . loved this one though, will probably read the next one when it comes out
The author says the same thing over and over again. The repetitions go on for pages, it makes reading the books a chore. I hope she can get an editor with a delete button for the next book.
Beckett is a psycho serial killer/best seller horror novelist and part of the savage six. He meets Ellery one night at a club and he becomes obsessed, turns out she’s a new student in his class. But that doesn’t deter him at all. There’s drama all throughout Emerald Hills hs that he’s getting to the bottom of. You’d think his nickname for her would be cringey but I love it.
Ellery was a perfect fit for him, wasn’t bothered at all for his killer ways, was just bothered when he tried to control her lmao
I was lucky enough to get an ARC for this book. I absolutely loved Beautiful Carnage and was looking forward to reading this one. Beckett is all the red flags, and I'm so here for it! His degree of OTT J/P is basically psychotic. Age gap and forbidden aspect was *chefs kiss*.
This would have been 5 stars but I could not stand the use of the term "pet".
I am dying to read Tristan and Waverly's story next! 🔥
I LOVED Beckett and all of his psycho sexy tendencies! His love for her is dark, obsessive, dominating with a splash of stalker. He's unhinged but man do I fall hard for his type and Ellery is all about his kind of love!
Love this series and love these guys, read Sweet Destruction now!
