Such a fun series.
This is Edmond's and Casey's story and it is just as fantastical as the others. And you do NOT cross a Wonderfully witch - especially one who is coming into her powers with truth potions.
The list of characters is again very entertaining and Amy is the most precious half-demon child you will find.
Edmond is such a stand up guy that he drives you crazy with his stoic resolve to keep his distance from Casey. But love prevails.
This was another entertaining romp in Nightfall and I look forward to many more.

Edmond tries his hardest to stay away from his fated mate, Casey, because of the curse his maker placed on him. He's supposed to die on New Year's Day, which is fast approaching. Casey decides to do anything she can to save him, including putting herself in grave danger. I love their relationship! The pull they have towards one another is beautiful and strong. I love the relationship Edmond has with Casey's daughter, Amy too. He considers her his daughter and it's just the sweetest!
There's a war brewing and it's all hands on deck! There's betrayal, family, and of course love in this epic second chance romance.

I enjoyed the book, I really liked that Casey was headstrong and didn't want to submit to Edmond, but I also understood that Edmond just wanted to protect her from all of the things that were coming their way.
I liked that they got their second chance and that there was a glimpse into the past.
I enjoyed that their daughter was included and that Annabelle joined and rounded out their family.
All in all it was good and wholesome, but I did feel the conflict was resolved very quicky and didn't have too much build up or information. I hope that we will get more as to the why and players behind the invasion in the next book.
All in all it was fluffy and cute with bits of spice mixed in. Still a 3/10 on my personal scale but there was enough there to make newer smut readers blush. :)

This was fitting how I finished the book on the date the book itself had the last plot, 11/2! What I enjoyed about this book is how all the questions pretty much get answered and we find out Sophie’s reason for betrayal which I figured would get answered in this story. I liked this book the best out of all three of them but still not enough to reach the 5 rating. Love at first sight still plays a factor in this book, but from both sides. Casey and Edmond feel it when they meet the first time and spend the night together. Casey isn’t as dramatic about it as Annie was but she still experiences it. Meanwhile, Edmond is battling himself internally about whether or not he should explore his love of Casey. In the last book we find out that he has a curse on him and there is no cure for it and in his eyes, it affects how their relationship should be moving forward. He vows not to get in too deep with Casey or give her hope. He does everything in his power to not be intimate with her and just wants to get everything settled before his curse is fulfilled. Again though, this book really doesn’t work on Casey and Edmond’s relationship. In fact, I feel there was very little romance in this book despite how it starts and Casey’s vow to find a cure for him. You get maybe two detailed chapters of them sleeping together and then near the end a couple minor ones but nothing as detailed as what I usually get in books I read. Most of it was about the threat of Nightfall and the Blackthorn’s and Wonderfully’s working together. Don’t get me wrong, you do find out what Casey’s power actually is and how she comes to terms with it, which ends up being a safety accident. I liked this about the book, in all of them really, but for some reason the way hers gets discovered in this book was more eye opening and shocking. Annie’s was shocking but it didn’t have the same effect as this one did. Casey’s caused more effort, especially since she gets sick shortly after using her powers whereas Annie just manifests it and it happens. I do like how we find out their powers as they do. It makes the book more mysterious and surprising because they haven’t practiced and are discovering them after they experience a shocking event or have an epiphany. Nightfall allows them to practice magic freely, so because of that their minds are open more to the need and possibility of using them so they get activated after things happen or something shows up out of the ordinary. I liked that the book did this and I’m happy the supernatural and their powers comes into play but I wanted more romance in this. I don’t want them constantly watching their backs and wondering who’s betraying them because it’s been feeling like that since the last book. I don’t think this was even a thought in the first book. It makes the first book more favorable in my eyes because it felt like there was more romance and passion in that one compared to the second and third. I guess you could say each book had different situations I liked and didn’t like but the romance fell short after the first book. I felt like I was reading nothing but how to solve a crime and all the different ways Edmond and Casey were doing things behind each other’s backs all because they couldn’t stand the idea of the other being put in danger and knew they would be stopped if told. This got old after a while and I didn’t like the stupidity of each of them actively putting themselves in danger to be a hero even though it all works out. It is with that disappointment I find myself giving this a 4. It’s like, it wants to go there but too many things happen in Nightfall to focus on romance. I feel like this would be better as a mystery series without involving the people falling in love but I get why this could be an issue for romance and mystery lovers. You can’t quite place this as a romance or a mystery so instead it goes in between and then something in the plot point suffers so it doesn’t get revisited. It hints at time travel in the end and sets the stage for the next threat in the following Wonderfully collection as well as the next fated relationship. Sadly, that book was supposed to come out last year and there’s no sign of it even being written. I really hope this doesn’t end up being a dead series because I’ve really enjoyed this one even if they’ve all been 4 rating books which isn’t nothing to sneeze at, it’s still an accomplishment and I’m glad I picked up this series. Now, it’s time to move on for more Christmas themed books unless the next book in this series happens to all of a sudden get finished.

My Big Fat Blood Sucker Second Chance is the 3rd book in Bella Jacob’s Big Fat Blood Sucker series. The series is built around 7 Wonderfully sister witches, each with a unique power falling in love with the handsome Blackmore vampire clan. Even though I know there are several more books due featuring the other 4 sisters this book felt like the final book in this series because so many storylines that began in the first two books came to a head and were resolved in this one.
This is the story of Casey Wonderfully perhaps the most beautiful of all the Wonderfully sisters and Edmond Blackmore generally accepted as the most handsome man paranormal or mortal on earth. Four years ago Casey who was traveling with a rock band working their shows met Edmond at a concert in Chicago, who was there as a guest of the head vampire of Chicago. As with all the other couplings in this book it was love (or at least lust) at first sight. Casey is a woman who isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants sexually and she wanted Edmond. And Edmond wants Casey. But Edmond is convinced he’s going to die on the 100th anniversary of being turned into a vampire because his sire Priscilla cursed him when he refused to marry her. So one night is all he can give Casey. They have that night of multi-orgasmic, best sex of their lives sex and Edmond slips away leaving Casey in his hotel room bed. Now it’s four years later. Casey having been entranced by a demon while working is Las Vegas is now a single mom of 2 year old half demon Amy and living in Nightfall with her sisters Blair and Annie. There she meets Edmond again but he acts like he doesn’t remember her. Then when her baby’s demon father attempts to again take the baby to sell into slavery to the demon king, Edmond claims to be Casey’s fiancée’ thwarting the demons claim on Amy. But to ensure the claim sticks Edmond and Casey plan to actually marry before Edmond dies. Casey very much wants to be as close to Edmond for as long as he’s alive (or what passes for alive when you’re a vampire) but Edmond not wanting to make things harder for Casey when he dies tries to keep things strictly platonic between them while they pretend to be in love in public. But they both are in love and they both really, really want to relive their night in Chicago. Casey is determined to convince Edmond to add sex to their relationship and find a cure for Edmond’s curse even if he has given up all hope.
While Casey and Edmond are trying to figure out their shit there is a threat to the Blackmore clan and the town of Nightfall. Is it from demons out to try and snatch Amy again or is it from the Shadowbane vampire clan the sworn enemies of the Blackmore clan? Could it be from both? The Shadowbane vampires believe vampires are at the top of the food chain and want to claim Nightfall for their own either subjugating or eliminating all the other species of paranormals living there. Add to this Priscilla Blackmore the sire of the family, furious and jealous that Edmond is marrying Casey after he rejected her even if it were 100 years ago and he only has months to live comes to Nightfall looking to end Cassie and perhaps her sisters too.
This was a great story that kept me turning the pages. There was romance and sex and intrigue and suspense as the many questions from the previous books, who is threatening Nightfall, who kidnapped Blair and Darcy, who are the traitors within the Blackmore clan, is Sophie a traitor and will Casey ever get Edmond back into bed are all answered.

In order to protect her daughter from her demon father, Casey and Edmond have decided to marry. These two are not strangers to each other and actually shared one night years ago that has affected both of them profoundly. Now they are in a race against time to save Edmond from a decade’s long curse that threatens their future.

Casey was full of strength and just discovering her powers as a witch. She’s fiercely protective of her daughter and Edmond. She’s determined to save Edmond from himself and find a solution to their problem.
Edmond fell in love almost instantly with Casey when he met her years ago. He wants a life with her desperately but cannot see a way to accomplish that so he’s determined to set her and her daughter up for the future. He fights for them valiantly but he has to learn to fight for himself, too.

I absolutely love the Wonderfully Witches series, and this book was no different. Casey and Edmond were the perfect match for each other.
Casey is the lively, outspoken spitfire of the sister witches, who's got a lot on her plate. Raising a little demon...no, really, a half demon child...plus not coming into her powers might be enough to throw off anyone's mojo. But getting engaged to the extremely handsome Edmond Blackmore to protect that sweet child could be the thing that breaks her. Because while the engagement is fake, to keep little Amy safe from her father, Casey has loved Edmond since the first time they met. Before Amy and before she moved back home to Nightfall. But that's a secret.
Edmond himself has a secret himself. Well, two of them really. He is in love with Casey as well. But he can't commit when he knows his death is eminent in a few short months. He's determined to protect both Casey and Amy, even after he's gone. But Casey has a plan to rid him of that death curse (that's the other secret that his family doesn't know about) Even if she has to deal with Edmond's maker, Priscilla, who definitely a bit of a wildcard.
This book felt more lighthearted than the previous two. As lighthearted as an eminent death curse, the coming war with the Shadowbane vamps and a crazy old vamp-master can be. Edmond is definitely less grumpy than brothers Darcy and Baron. And while I loved Wonderfully sisters Annie and Blaire, single mom Casey just touched something inside me. Maybe it was Edmond's connection with Amy that did it for me. I'm not sure what it was, but I enjoy every visit I make to Nightfall, NH. Can't wait to see which witch sister comes home next!

“My Big Fat Bloodsucker Second Chance” is another fun, steamy and action pack installment in the Wonderfully Sisters series and I’m always happy to return back to Night Fall.
Everyone deserves a second chance at love including witches and vampires. Cassie had one incredible night with Edmond and the two parted ways. But they never forgot about each other and that’s apparent when Edmond asks Cassie to marry her. But at the time, it’s a fake marriage so Cassie can protect her daughter from her deadbeat Demon father. Both want forever but Edmond is cursed by a vindictive ex and doesn’t want to hurt Cassie when the curse comes true. So, Cassie and her family are determined to end the curse so they can have their forever.
This series has quickly become a favorite of mine. The series is a little quirky, doesn’t skip on the steam and is a whole lot of fun. Cassie is a fierce and protective mama witch and I loved her from the beginning. She’s not afraid to do what she needs to do to protect her daughter, Amy, family or Edmond. And Edmond is so swoony, it’s ridiculous. I wonder where I can find me a man or vampire like that. The secondary characters are great, I love Kitty the house Kraken so much and Annabelle the chihuahua/hellhound who can turn into a protector instantly for Cassie, Amy and Edmond. I cannot wait to relive this book when the audio is released and I’m anxiously waiting for the fourth sister, Willow.

Love can even overcome a curse
I loved, loved Casey and Edmond’s fated mates, second chance romance with a side of a killing curse. And I continue to fall more in love with the Town of Nightfall and all its supernatural inhabitants the more books I read in this series. Casey Wonderfully is a single mom to a half demon child, Amy. She and her sisters recently found out they are witches from a long line of witches and moved to the supernatural town of Nightfall. Edmond Blackmore is an almost 100 year old vampire who was cursed by his maker to die on his 100th birthday. He is therefore not interested in a relationship. Edmond and Casey met 4 years previously and despite being mates, Edmond disappeared after one phenomenal night. But to save Casey and Amy from demons, Edmond is marrying her. The story includes all the good things you’d expect - sweet moments, sexy times, real life issues, imperfect characters, mildly dangerous situations, magic, paranormal creatures, loyal friends and family, painful pasts, mystical coincidences, evil actors, henchmen, plot twists, snark, and laugh out loud moments. On their way to their HEA, there is a small bit of angst and there is growth for both characters. While this book is a stand alone, there is a common story arc that joins the books together so I would suggest reading them all so you don’t miss any of the goodness. I willingly reviewed an early copy of this book.

My Big, Fat Bloodsucker Second Chance is the third book in Bella Jacobs’ My Big Fat Bloodsucker series. You can read each book as standalone but I highly recommend reading the series in order since there is a subplot throughout the series. The Blackmores and the Wonderfullys are finding love and I am here for it.
Four years. It’s been four years since Cassandra and Edmond spent one night together and now they are engaged to be married in a matter of weeks. All to save her daughter from the demon world. Cassandra wasn’t even sure if Edmond remembered their night together but he never forgot the best night of his life and now she was in Nightfall. It should be a time to be excited but Edmond was having a hard time being around Casey. He wants her to be his forever but worried there isn’t much time left and doesn’t want to break her heart. Only, he already is. She needs him to fight and if he won’t then she will. She will fight for him. For her. For Amy. For their forever.
I am absolutely loving this series. The women are badass and the men are swoonworthy. I love the romance part of the stories but there is also suspense within that makes it even more addictive. I can’t wait for the next book!!

Having read My Big Fat Bloodsucker Secret Babt, i've been looking so forward to jumping back into this world! As soon as this one was announced i wanted to read it. I got right back into the world The Wonderfully Witches of Nightfall New Hampshire. I so enjoyed this story!

Casey and Edmond's journey captured my attention right from the get go! A person can come into your life and your heart knows it's person, something Edmond and Casey know for sure. Things aren't easy for these two though, especially because of the curse on Edmond. Can they beat the odds?
I really liked how i got into their story quickly. The chemistry and connection between Casey and Edmond was undeniable. I didn't know how everything would play out for these two and that got even more into their story. I could really picture things throughout which i loved. I admired Casey and her determination. Edmond had me falling for him fast. I was cheering these two on for sure!
It was so fun being back in this world! I enjoyed what the other characters brought to the story as well, especially sweet Amy!

Finally!! Was waiting for Casey and Edmond's story.
Casey is engaged to Edmond. But they have a big secret. Edmond is due to die in a couple of months due to a curse put on him from his maker, Priscilla. He's one of the most handsome Vampires ever. Only Edmond and Casey know. He doesn't want to burden his brothers with this knowledge.
Casey is so in love with Edmond. And as a witch she vows to herself that she will find a cure. Only she has not come into her powers yet. And her adorable 2 year old daughter Amy who is also half demon loves him too. Casey longs for them to be a real family.
Edmond vows to marry Casey before he dies, so she will carry the Blackmore name and be safe from all Supernatural beings. He has loved her since he first met her 4 years at a concert in Chicago. He has to protect her and Amy.
But war is coming to their little town of Nightfall. It's going to take all of them to save this community. There are traitors in their midst and they must be found and removed.

This is the third book in the series and although it could be read as a stand alone book, you really would benefit from reading the other books in the series first, just to get the broader idea of what has gone on before with the sisters and how they have become what they are.
Casey is the third Wonderfully sister and is engaged to Edmund one of the Blackmore men, mainly in order to save her daughter from her nasty demon ex boyfriend and Amy, her daughters, nasty father.
This author certainly manages to weave a story that captivates and pulls you in for the ride, and you cannot stop turning page after page and devouring the story and the lifes' of its characters.
I really enjoyed Casey as she showed her mama bear strength and fought hard for what she wanted and her family. Edmund also stepped up to the plate for the woman who he had not forgotten from their first encounter over 4 years ago before she had Amy.
I really love this series and at the end we are introduced to the next two main characters, Felicity and Ferris and cannot wait to see what this author whips up for their happy ending and the continuation of the main story line.

I've been eagerly awaiting the next book in the series since finishing the previous book. I could not put this one down. It lived up to all my expectations and was so worth the wait. I'm so in love with the Wonderfully witches and the Blackmore vampires. I was so intrigued by Casey and Amy. I really wanted to get to know little Amy. Then throw in Edmond who is going to make you swoon with how protective of Amy and Casey he is. There were some very happy surprises that I felt some relief finding out. This book really shows how important it is to show kindness to everyone because you may never know how much of an impact that show of kindness can mean. Some more twists and turns for this one that kept me gobbling up the pages. I stayed up until the wee hours devouring the pages. Casey, Amy, Edmond, and their families really have me hooked. I can't recommend this book and the whole series enough! I liked the little tease we got at the end of this one for the next book. I cant wait for it!!

Bella Jacobs is the only supernatural author on my bookshelf. Her amazing stories of witches, shapeshifters, vampires and so much more, intertwined with danger, beautiful romance and hot and sexy between the sheets escapades makes her a must read for me every time. Second Chance is the third full length novel in her amazing My Big Fat Bloodsucker series which brings us back to Nightfall with the Blackmore clan and the Wonderfully sisters. This time Ms. Jacobs continues the story of Edmond and Casey and Amy which is everything I wanted it to be and so much more. Second Chance is filed with love and romance and some scary uh-oh moments as well. But as always the happily ever after at the end makes every page turning moment worth it. I have enjoyed each of the novels throughout this series and look forward to the next with great anticipation.

We're back in the town of Nightfall in New Hampshire with the third book in Bella Jacobs's addictively entertaining Wonderfully Witches of Nightfall, New Hampshire series. My Big, Fat Bloodsucker Second Chance is Edmond and Casey's story, but in all fairness, it's one that they share with Casey's demon of a daughter (literally!), Amy, as well. Edmond seriously takes the cake as far as male main characters are concerned, vampire or otherwise. The guy was utterly devoted to the one woman he's ever loved--that's Casey, for anyone who didn't pick that up right away--and he was smitten with Amy, loving her like she truly was his. I loved the romance between the main characters, and I quite enjoyed the story angle of the threat against the Blackmores, Wonderfullys, and the rest of Nightfall. I cannot wait for a return visit! Five stars.

My Big Fat Bloodsucker Second Chance was a paranormal romance that proved some second chances are worth risking when true love is on the line. This is book three in the Wonderfully Witches of Nightfall, New Hampshire series, and I love how each new sister brings a new, unique, and exciting adventure. I’d been eagerly anticipating Casey and Edmond’s romance, and it didn’t disappoint. Casey is one determined witch to break Edmond’s deadly curse, so they can finally have a second chance to have their HEA once and for all. Of course, there are several bumps in the road and crazy twists and turns to get there, but with the help of the citizens of Nightfall, anything is possible.
Overall I enjoyed this book! I can always count on Bella Jacobs to bring the magic, steam, and HEA with this mysteriously intriguing paranormal romance!

Wow, how much do I love this gang? Seriously, perfect combo of funny, action, and heat with the hint of mystery, throw in a little magic and you have yourself an entirely well rounded book. This author is masterful and has not failed me yet, she makes me want to live in this fictional far away world. The entire gang is a trip but what sold me on this being the best book of the series thus far was Amy. What a cutie! She and Annabelle stole my heart. And ok, I GUESS Casey and Edmond were okay LMAO, of course they rocked lol I think Casey might be my favorite Wonderfully sister. I just LOVE her spirit, her outlook on life. Edmond is great too don't get me wrong I loved them both and together they were SO hot, but Casey's so perfect the Wonderfully's stole the show for me lol Can't wait for the next one!

While this book has mystery and a little suspense, it is also chalk-full of humor, love, and family. This group of super naturals has stolen my heart and I can't wait to continue the ride with them!
There's something going on behind the scenes in Nightfall and the mystery continues to unfold in this book. Most things aren't what they seem. I love the relationship between Edmund, Casey, and Amy. Amy embracing "Ed Ed" - You're the guy so nice, she likes to call you twice" and him embracing her is so sweet.
Amy may be young, but she and her mom are fierce and strong. "In a society that isn't supportive of confident women who know what they want and go after it, it won't be easy, but if anyone can do it, it's the two of us. Together."

Yesss! the sexiest book yet!
Ahhh! I love this series and these characters. This is the third book in this series and I have to say I think it’s the sexiest one yet! I absolutely loved Casey and Edmond! They captured my interest in the last book and I couldn’t wait to find out more about them! They were absolute soulmates! I was so into their story I devoured this baby in a few hours! I really love this series it’s an interesting story about a group of wandering sisters finding themselves and each other along with their soulmates out of this vampire clan! The town is and their history is captivating and the storyline’s are thrilling! These are all stories you can easily finish in a few hours, very much bite sized but with all the goods! I can’t wait for the next one!

Edmund & Casey have a wee bit of a past, that crashers them into the present as an engaged couple. All Edmund wants to do is protect Casey & Amy, at all costs. He may be a vamp, but his heart beats for Casey. Gahhh! I freaking loved this book! I love getting to go back to Nightfall and seeing what the Wonderfully sisters are getting up to next! This one is no exception. Edmond and Casey had one amazing night together a few years ago and he afterward he could not stop thinking of her.
Of course he thinks he can't have her because of his curse and Casey is absolutely NOT having it! She is stronger than Edmond realizes.
Man, every book in this series is even better than the last! Edmond & Casey are up there as my favorites!
I loved seeing everyone again and the boys were so cute with the kids! Lots of great humor in this book as usual and plenty of STEAM!

I absolutely loved this book! I also thought it was better than the second one, it had a lot more going on, it was fast paced and had great shenanigans happening. I loved the characters, leading as well as side, and loved to see previous couples back in this one. I'm curious to see what Bella Jacobs has in store for us in the next book in this series, because this book made me curious and made me want to read more and more. It was fast, enjoyable and super cute and I really was hooked to the story. Can't wait for more in the series!

This is such a fun series and I breezed through this one like I have with the others. Casey and Edmond's story was just as full of magic and romance as the others. It is a second chance romance with high stakes as Edmond is going to die on New Years and the Shadowbane are planning to attack the town. This book kept me on my toes with each chapter and I could barely keep it down. I really enjoyed having more of Amy in this book and she quickly became my favorite character. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Second Chance Paranormal Romance
This is the third book in the series and it moves the story on very well. Casey and Edmond had met some time beforehand and neither of them forgot their encounter. Now Casey has come to Nightfall to escape from a very bad demon boyfriend. This was an enjoyable read with a lot of positive mental health messages among the supernatural action and romance.

2.5 stars -> This was just meh and I had a really hard time reading it, and it took me months to finally finish it. I did like some moments in the book and I thought Edmond, Casey and Amy made a cute family, but I wasn't invested at all in the romance and couldn't suspend my disbelief at how fast they fell in "forever love". The next installment seems more interesting, so I'll probably continue with the series.

I think this may be my fave book of the series! Loveddddd Edmond so much swoonnnnn! He and Casey were amazing together, I adored how they fought for each other and their epic instant fated connection!
