shut up, this was SO GOOD!!
i was desperately waiting to read a book where i can feel the tension and emotions between the main characters and this book was IT.
august and harper were so good together. there was tension, jealousy, pining, lust and hope between them and i felt it through the pages. i was rooting for them throughout the book and was so eager to see how everything will play out in the end. their interactions made me giddy with excitement.
without giving away any spoilers cause roxanne’s romances are always filled with a touch of mystery that keeps me on the edge of my seat excited to see how things will fall into place, but the confusion and chaos of this story had me smiling and giggling throughout!
the writing was fabulous and i really wanted more of these characters, august, harper, troy and even all the side characters were entertaining and lively!
and the storyline was brilliant, THIS is the kind of unique and original and fun rom-com i want to read, this is what i expect from the romance novels and ᴡʀᴏɴɢ ᴛᴡɪɴ was that and so much more.
also this cover fits so perfectly with the story, it’s adorable and smug. and the artwork in between the pages was such a pleasant surprise!
i really adored the book, it was a breath of fresh air after a long time and my first and only five-star read this entire month! easily my top fave sports romance from the author. definitely recommend!!

Speechless. This title, blurb and queen of an author absolutely nailed it and reeled me in.
August and Harper's journey is compelling, beautiful and laced with undeniable love. However, don't be fooled there are some jaw dropping moments that pull on your heart strings and their history plays an impact.
August and Harper's history really plays havoc in the plot add in August's twin Troy and the truth comes out. I love how August jumps to help Troy and the emotional trauma Troy goes through is an emotional rollercoaster. But August comes to the rescue.
Their relationship between all three of them are complicated, BUT have no fear, truths come out, realisations made and your heart will be filled with LOVE.
This is such a heartwarming story that steals your heart. Roxanne is an absolute favourite of mine and this book jumps straight to my top reads of the year!

I picked this up with no expectation, but it turned out to be good. It was a fast pace. I ended up reading it all in one sitting and really enjoyed it.

What a fabulous read!
The angst was just right, the attraction 😘 just the full package.
Written so well and had me hooked from the beginning.
Couldn’t get enough of August and Harper. Their interactions were great. I loved how protective August was of his twin. And Harper - loved her revenge pact, but she just couldn’t be that cruel….

November 30, 2022Wrong Twin is my first Roxanne Tully book. After reading the blurb... I had no doubt that I would enjoy this story... and I was not wrong! It was refreshing and contained the perfect amount of angst, banter & tension. I was hooked from page 1.

3.5 ⭐️ for me. Harper is out to get revenge on her high school crush from 5 years ago. This is my first issue with this book, if you hold a grudge for 5 years that’s just immature in my book. Grow the f up!! Unfortunately it’s not Troy but his twin August she ends up attempting this on. August is the quiet doesn’t like the spotlight twin. August and Troy played the swap twin game and now August is playing his spot on the hockey team amount other things. Harper does figure out early on that it isn’t Troy she’s been spending time with. When August finds out she knows, he assumes she was pretending because she still wanted Troy. So August breaks her heart and she decides to go off to a retreat. Of course August shows up once he’s decided he’s not ready to give her up. It takes a bit of groveling but she forgives him and by the end they’re married with a kid.

This was a sweet romance with second-chances, mistaken identity, a revenge plan that doesn’t quite workout, all topped off with some ice-hockey! What more could you want?
I found whilst reading I was more drawn to August’s story for the first half, his lack of confidence in himself over his brother Troy, despite being the more successful of the twins. The book tends to focus more on Harpers story in the second half.
This is a slow burn with a low amount of heat, but there is plenty of angst and smexy tension between these two to tide you over.
A feel-good romance to add to your comfort reading list.

The name alone captured my attention to give this one a shot. Then, the author and her previously enjoyable stories got me again. But the blurb was the final nail in the coffin for me, and boy, was I left with feelings of pleasure and overwhelmed with delight!

Wow, I was completely hooked. Wrong Twin will leave you I. Smiles and rooting for August and Harper. Harper is going into this party for one reason, revenge. Troy broke her heart and she’s ready for payback. But when Troy skips his own party, he sends his twin brother August in his place. And Harper doesn’t realize it’s him. These two together was amazing. I loved watching their journey develop as well as August bring a businessman playing a hockey player. So many laughs, emotions and steam throughout this book. The chemistry between all 3 of them as well as the tension and angst was perfect. Can’t wait to read what Roxanne has for us next.

This book came highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. I loved the innocence of Harper combined with the attitude of August. This was humourous, sweet, sexy and everything I love in a sports romance.

Wrong Twin is not my first Roxanne Tully book. I had no doubt that I would enjoy this story, I just had no idea how much I would! It was breathtakingly beautiful!
Harper wants revenge. And she's after Troy. Years ago he broke her heart. On a mission she goes, but little does she know it's Troy's twin brother August who's getting all of her 'attention' now.
This part of the plot was amazing! I read it with a sustained smirk on my face.

"Not in a way you're not going to like!"
I enjoyed Harper, her sweet, purehearted personality really pulled at my heart, but I absolutely loved August, even when I wanted to tear my hair out in frustration with him being stubborn as a mule! But the guy had a soft side, he was always putting others first, and was misunderstood way too many times.

Oooo what a twisted tale Roxanne has woven with this story! I've only ever read one story involving twins in this way before and I can see it becoming a favourite storyline of mine. I loved the background between the characters it was messy and complicated and I was all for it. Wrong Twin took me on a roller coaster of emotions. I adored the brothers and I felt for both of them but ultimately August stole my heart. A really good read that had me hooked and didn't let go. Can't wait to see what Roxanne brings us next.

I always look forward to reading Roxanne Tully's books! I love her sports romance books so much! Her books and this one was just Amazing!

Okay, so this was my first book by Roxanne Tully, and I adored it!!! The book definitely started off with a bang, when Harper thought August was Troy. The plot was original and amazing, and I was so hooked I read it in two straight hours. Harper and August completely stole my heart, and I loved them both individually and as a couple. Yes, there’s a lot of miscommunication here, but it’s all worth it in the end!!! I’ll definitely be looking into Roxanne Tully’s other books, and I definitely recommend this one!!!

The original version of Wrong Twin, published in Dec 2022, was the first book I read by Roxannne Tully. I was drawn to the promotional ads and thought the book description/plot sounded interesting (hockey, billionaire, revenge, wrong twin).
When I saw that this book had gotten a makeover with a new cover, tightening up and extra scenes, I wanted to give it another read.
Even though I find it hard to re-read books, I enjoyed this story. I now want to know which scenes are extra.
The grocery store mishap is still funny.... and the continuation of this scene during meal prep is hilarious.

Wrong Twin was fantastic and even more I fell so in love with August and Harper. I love August and how protective he is but I also enjoyed all three of them and their dynamics they are all flawed in some way or another and they are all trying to work out their issues but they needed to be confronted head on. I love the build up the chemistry these two have. Roxanne’s books are amazing and never disappoint. This book was SO hard to put down!

I really enjoyed the story and thought the plot was fun and interesting. I enjoyed the main characters and loved the chemistry between them. I found myself rooting for them throughout the entire book and there were moments I wanted to yell at August so he would have some common sense. It was a cute story with a fun plot and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My first book from the author and it was so much fun reading about the twins and Harper.
I would have loved to know the parent's take on the relationship as they all seemed to be close.
I hope there will be more books from the characters and we will see more of August and Harper.

I absolutely adored Harper and August!!!! Roxanne’s books are amazing and never disappoint. This book was SO hard to put down! Finished it within 1 1/2 days! This book gave you all the feels and love!! 5⭐️

Great Read!
This book definitely gave me all the feels. There was humor, angst and steam!
I loved watching Harper and August story unfold. I feel like they both helped each other to grow in different ways. The story is told in dual POV.

Omg! This book almost took me from this world laughing. I loved August and Hapers story! What happens when you want revenge but it happens to be the wrong twin! Well find out. This book is so worth the read for laughs and hockey player!

From the first chapter it had me. Just that simple, the storyline and the characters will absorb you and will have you falling in love and reading non stop. Amazing job by Roxanne this one is amazingly written and it gives you something different to enjoy. It is definitely a must read.

This book was such a fun and entertaining ride! I have never read anything like it and I enjoyed every minute if it! Who wouldn't like a little twin switcheroo?! August is of course the brooding, always in control brother that you could honestly die for. While Troy is the brother that never steps up and is always needing August's help. The dynamic between the twins will have you pulling at your heartstrings. It's not as easy as it seems and they both feel like the other gets exactly what they want. Harper is the girl who fell for the wrong twin in high school, never even noticing the right one. The push and pull between all of the characters were amazing. The full on angst and pit in your stomach feeling created from August and Harper was perfect. You could feel the tension and the absolute war going on in each of their heads. If you're looking for something not only different but just a blast to read, you've found it. You will go through every emotion and come out with a smile on your face. Loved this so much!

This is such a fun read. We meet August, the responsible twin, who enjoys his life just fine until her is forced to play his twin for a little bit. Troy is having a mental breakdown due to his failures at hockey that his brother gave up everything for him to have. While playing Troy August runs into Harper a girl they went to school with who has every reason to hate Troy. Thinking it is him Harper enacts her plan only things go awry as it puts these two in each others lives after that. Once she figures things out things really get good I must say. With plenty of bumps in the road to their HEA we get a tension filled fun romance that makes for a great afternoon read. Sure to delight fans of the genre. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Having read Ms.Tully's work before i've been wanting to get into more of her books! As soon as this one was announced it caught my eye right away and so did the teasers. I enjoyed it!

I swear you can never go wrong when you pick up a Roxanne Tully book. Wrong Twin was fantastic and even more I fell so in love with August and Harper. I mean gone on August like I kept screaming at my phone “ come on just tell Harper it’s you and not Troy” ugh. But she could have called him out too I suppose. Then like I hated that he thought and felt he was any less than his brother that frustrated me and made me want to hug him. But any way back to this great book. These two they were just amazing and I loved everything about this book and happily recommend this book to everyone it’s a definite must read.

Then like I hated that he thought and felt he was any less than his brother that frustrated me and made me want to hug him. But any way back to this great book. These two they were just amazing and I loved everything about this book and happily recommend this book to everyone it’s a definite must read.
