Kade is my favourite Dare 🥹🥹🥹 My heart fucking broke when his secret got exposed 😭
I love how I never know what to expect from Nordika Night, but her books just pull me in and keep me on edge waiting for the angst and the relationship development. I could see hints of Garron Park in book one, and definite Alter Arlo vibes in this book, but the characters are always so interesting and I always want more.
This isn't a romantic relationship in any sense, so don't expect a HEA or a boyfriend/girlfriend storyline. It is a story of having strong relationships with friends and family though, and knowing yourself without shame and knowing your worth, which I really loved reading.
I absolutely adore Kade and want him to be my best friend but without any benefits because♠️😂 I really empathise with him so much though and I can't wait for him to get his HEA.
I also love how everyone is lusting after Gar!! He sounds like the best human ever and I cannot wait for him to get his own Dare HEA. I think I know who it'll be, but I'm trying to patiently wait for him to have a book announced 😁

When you dive into this story, keep in mind this is an erotica book, not romance per se. While the protagonists find their HEA, it is not together—more reading blurbs better, and less bashing books for stupid reasons, please and thank you.
Anyway, if you like hot, badass tattoo characters—both of them—this should be on your tbr. More so since this story unfolds in a gorgeous way between incredibly good written smut and painful scenes of these two learning and accepting things about themselves they had never admitted out loud before. I freaking love their friendship and the way they connect and trust each other beyond everything else. At times I wanted them to end up together, but I know better things are waiting out there for them 😈

Kade might be the youngest of 10 boys but he knows what he wants and is determined to get it! He’s everything wrapped up into one, he’s sexy, smart and funny, but most of all he loves the hardest! Absolutely love this book and the foundation their story lays out to even bigger things in the books that follow! Absolutely love me some Dare Brothers, but Kade reigns supreme, especially with his pierced goods! 🔥

This book does not have a conventional ending but ... TRUST THE PROCESS! I predict big things are coming!!!

These seem to be four words the author and her characters live by.
The Dare family have a unique relationship. One that some may find uncomfortable and others will find refreshing. Personally, I love their dynamic, the bonds they share. Honourable mention to Mother Dare! She is a f'in legend!
Kade is the youngest of 10 brothers and his story did not go the way I expected it to. It blindsided me and left me unsure about how I felt, and took me a minute to try and process everything that went down.
Kade is a beautiful human. With his filthy mouth and a wickedly dirty mind! His protectiveness of those he loves, those he calls family warms my icy heart and I find myself wanting to be brought into the Dare fold.
Maeve is 8 years his senior and his boss, she is a woman who has forgotten who she is and what she's worth and in exploring her wants an desires with Kade has enabled her to be able to.
Trust me when I say, when they come together, it's sexy as hell!
The story itself is quite emotionally complex and I think that many of us would lack the emotional maturity to deal with it what Kade is going through and come out of it with such acceptance.
You can expect relationships but don't expect a conventional HEA. Sometimes, you have to remember that life doesn't always go as planned, that there will be events that test your limits but along the way, you will find your people. Your safe place and you'll learn to thrive.

Great spice but the ending didn't do it for me

I loved the spice in this story. The voyeurism was super hot. There wasn't much of a plot but I was okay with it just being a smutty romance... and that's what I thought I was going to get, a romance!
Unfortunately, this book isn't a romance. The two main characters don't get a happy ending. They don't fall in love or end up together. Those are things I need when I'm reading a stand alone romance and this one didn't deliver.
I got sick of hearing about Laken 50% in. She still has that "she's not like other girls" thing with no character development that drives me crazy in books. I could have gotten past it if Maeve and Kade had romantic feelings for each other.
I'm really sad that this book didn't do it for me. I've read this authors MM romances and I've loved all of them. I think I came into this wanting a complete story like I got in the first book but I didn't get one and now I feel I just feel empty.

After reading my first book (Little Demon in the Details) by Nordika Night, which I really enjoyed. I decided to check out more of her books and I’m really glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and thought it was a good addition to the Dare Brothers Series. This isn’t your typical love story with a happily ever after but the two main characters end up building an amazing friendship of trust and respect. Kade, the youngest of the Dares is in love with his brother and best friend Jed’s girl, Laken. Maeve, is the owner of SeaWard Ink and Kade’s boss. She’s in a dead end relationship with a selfish pr*ck, she’s struggling to end it but he eventually gives her a reason too.
After a night with a bit too much whiskey and bonding over their woes, Kade and Maeve come to a FWB kind of arrangement to help each other out. Maeve will help Kade deal with his feelings for Laken and he’ll help her get to know herself, and experiment s*xually without judgement or making her doubt herself unIike what her a*sehole of an ex did. All I can say that I just love the Dares, especially Mama Dare, also love their porch talks. I’m looking forward to getting more of them as the series continues. It’s Four’s turn next. I’m also looking forward to reading more books by Nordika Night in the future. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

I really love how this book didn’t have a “typical” HEA. It was raw & realistic. Kade & Maeve’s agreement was a breath of fresh air as they were able to help one another in different ways. One party didn’t have to settle & the other didn’t have to suppress. We all know they’ll eventually get their ‘HEA’ but I love how after everything, they are able to gain a solid friendship out of it. I also liked that no matter the age gap Kade (20) & Maeve (28) they were each able to learn from one another in different ways where they lacked.
SUCH A GREAT READ & the 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ was 🔥.
THERE TRULY IS NO SHAME IN THE DARE HOUSE!!
So excited for what the rest of this series has to bring as I cannot rave enough about it!!

Let me start by saying this book took me by surprise. I haven’t read very many stories (huge spoiler here, so please stop reading if you’re planning to go into this one blind) where the fmc and mmc don’t end up together. That doesn’t mean they won’t both get their happy ending, it just didn’t happen in this one and it might not happen with each other. Having said that, it really didn’t bother me that Kade and Maeve didn’t get their hea. The author wrote this book in such a way that it made sense and it didn’t feel sad. I already know there’s so much more to Kade’s story and I can’t wait to read it. He’s my favourite Dare brother so far, despite the fact that he’s so young. That mouth on him. 🥵 This book was hella spicy and well worth the read. Onto the next 💕

What a ride!
I read the first of the Dare books on Inkitt and I forgot how much I loved this rowdy, blunt, and open family.
This is not a love story in the traditional sense of romance. I think that's important for some to note before going in. This is a marvelous story though of developing friendships, pushing boundaries, learning to love/be yourself, and also the strength of family.
Can't wait to keep reading about the Dare family!

Keep the good times rollin
I was drawn in by the first book and the 2nd didn’t disappoint.
I just love that the author didn’t feel the need to make everything perfect within the relationships that were building. Not everything needs to be tied up into the perfect little bow.
There is so much more of this story to tell… and I cannot wait to read it (who doesn’t love Laken Chance 💁🏼♀️😉)

4.5⭐️! I loved this book! Some of my best times and heartfelt emotions were with guy best friends and this story brought back all the feels - in that platonic, friends with benefits but deeper but not romantic love way. It was a really unique “romance” book and like nothing I’ve ever read in this genre. Super steamy and I just fell even more in love with the crazy (and insanely hot) Dare family. Heading into book 3!!

it’s not even the ending being what it was, it’s that end note that said i read an entire character arc for a book that’s supposed to be about the character and the next book isn’t even following through with the same brother???? dnf series at book 2. this whole book was a waste of my time. first book i greedily devoured. and all the other books i read by this author i loved.

Love the Dare series!
This is my 4th time reading this series (except for the last 2 books, those I've only read once), and I swear, it never gets old.
I love how they all interact with each other, how natural the dialogue is. I also love how clearly you can feel and see the love and respect this family (including Nina, Laken and Maeve) has for each other.

Well can't say I loved it but it was worth reading because I'm excited where it is heading. Although the H in question is starting to bother me more because I don't get what these characters see in her. She cool, yeah, but...okay, and? I really want to get to know her so there can be some depth in the story.

This was interesting to read because it doesn't end in a HEA. Both of them find their individual HEA elsewhere, but it was a great read because it helps show their character growth and how they formed a friendship together.

This kind of story, dynamics in the relationship , communication, and sexy scenes is different and perfect. Loving it all and the ending was just so real and WOW.
