Pretty easy, with not much of a thrill - the story teller is summoned by her friend, the sheriff, to investigate the death of a student, found with a clownfish in his mouth. Why her, despite being the owner of a shelter for animals ? Maybe she has detective skills ? This short story seems to imply that, but the story is not very conclusive. Let's see how the series develop. Right eith part 1, Homicides and Hedgehogs.
Natalie is called by the sheriff he needs her help when he finds a young man dead. She runs a shelter for cats and dogs and boards animals. Jake asks her to help solve the case when a clownfish is found at the scene. This was a really fun book and I enjoyed it.
An amazing mystery that will have you wondering what could possibly happen next. A request to help solve a crime, a strange one at that. Will it be solved quickly before there’s another murder committed.

I really like this book. I heard a lot of different ways of cooking but it's the first I've heard of cooking to death on a Clownfish. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
This was a very interesting story about college life and what kids will do to be excepted. Natalie and Kathryn have just open Dusty Paws. It was so nice to see some taking in sick and injured pets and finding them new forever homes. Natalie was a big help to the sheriff when it came to pets. She was able to let him know what kind fish that the college freshman had swallowed. But it took a little long for her help him figure out why this happen. I would recommend this series just so people are are able to see what it takes to run a place for all these pets that new hom
