Danger and desire are an intoxicating mix…

Navy SEAL Gage Jackelson will do anything to solve the murder of his friend… even get half-naked for a romance-novel cover shoot. It doesn’t hurt that the photographer is equally gorgeous and intriguing. But Anna Middleton is a distraction he can’t afford. Could she know more than she’s letting on? He’ll have to get close to her to find out. Really close.

Ever since Gage showed up, Anna’s quiet life has been turned upside down. First, her billionaire boss disappeared after an explosion rocked their office building. Then some decidedly sinister characters started following her. And the smoking-hot SEAL is driving her wild—not that she’s complaining.

She meant to keep their relationship strictly professional. But as they become further entangled in a web of danger, Anna can’t help falling hard. They’ll need to work together to make it through…but will Gage stick around once he’s ensured Anna’s safety?

This is such a good start to the new SEAL team 10 series! I love both of these characters so much.

Gage is a smoking hot SEAL who is trying to investigate and solve the mystery of his team member, Nick. Gage, along with his remaining three members, have been set up to take the fall for this and they’re then given a chance from their commander to stay low and carry this out. They discover a link between Nick’s wife, Natalie, who has since disappeared, and a publishing company. In his attempt to gather intel, he ends up posing as a cover model for a beautiful photographer, Anna. He immediately becomes infatuated with her, as does Anna.

Anna is unknowingly thrown into the mix of all this and finds herself in a dangerous situation after dangerous situation. Throughout all this, Gage is by her side constantly protecting her. They form a bond and end up in a good place together by the end.

This is a romantic suspense done right. By the end, I was left with a lot more questions than answers but I’m not mad about it since it’s the first in the series and I’ll definitely be continuing to get to the bottom of all this. Safe to say I’m invested. Like what actually happened to Nick and where is Natalie and why they’re being set up.

Gage was so sexy, who knew SEAL men were like that🫢 Also the chemistry between Gage and Anna was explosive and so obvious. I loved the pace of the story and it’s a short, quick, easy read.

I was given an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I love these two characters. Gage may go in just looking for intel on who killed his teammate and where his wife has disappeared to, but he finds a woman that's worth everything to him. The danger is big and full of puzzle pieces. And wow...I didn't expect that end. Sure, the couple is together, but the mystery is still just a bunch of puzzle pieces they are trying to fit together and it looks like we'll have to read all of them to find out how the danger plays out. Which means three more stories. Thankfully, it looks like they will be rapidly released, coming out one per week until all four books are out. And I know I will be reading the rest because I need to know what happens...mostly how the case plays out, but also getting to know the guys more and curious about the women that will claim their hearts.

This was a very good short read filled with mystery, suspense and romance. Gage is part of a Seal Team and along with other members is trying to find out why one of their own was murdered. He follows a link to a Publishing Company where all is not what it seems, and meets Anna. I thought this book was well written, fairly fast paced, had plenty of action and was engaging. It flowed really well with some good twists. I really liked the main two characters who were well portrayed and believable. There are still questions to be answered which I’m guessing will be resolved as the series progresses. The side characters, Gage’s seal team members were just as likeable and I look forward to reading their stories in the future. I’d recommend this book/series if you like books that have an element of mystery with a bit of added romance.

This book is romantic suspense done right. The chemistry between Anna and Gage is quiet but powerful, and the mystery they’re chasing down kept me glued to the pages. It looks like this book has only revealed the tip of the iceberg, and now I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series will bring.

Great start to a new series! The author brings strong characters in Gage and Anna and weaves an interesting story filled with mystery, danger and romance. It's well written, moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading. It does end in a cliffhanger so I'm looking forward to the next book.

This is book one of the SEAL Team Ten series and Navy SEAL Gage Jackelson has to go undercover as a model at a publishing company, as he and the other members of his team, Spencer and Scotty, as well as Kyle, the brother of their recently killed member Nick. They all think something weird went on during their last mission, when Nick was killed by a sniper in a seemingly targeted attack. They have vowed to find out what happened and so far their investigations have led them to the romance book publishing company, where Nick’s wife Natalie was an author apparently, but has disappeared. Kyle is also AWOL and none of them know where he is. Gage walked into a call for a romance book cover model and got selected over all the pros there. He ends up having to pose topless for photographer Anna Middleton and feels a connection immediately between them. He has to try and bring up their friend Nick and his wife’s name, without making any of it too obvious. But a sudden emergency alarm going off after lunch soon has him leading her to the roof, to escape possible toxic fumes, and finding her billionaire boss’ office ransacked and a helicopter taking off from the rooftop.
Now it seems that some dodgy characters are turning up all around Anna’s home and strange things keep happening. She feels in danger and doesn’t quite realise how close to danger she really is. Thankfully, Gage turned up just at the right time when her car broke down and a supposedly good Samaritan offered to help her on the suddenly deserted street, but had gone when Gage pulled up! Gage has no idea if Anna knows more than she should, but it seems someone wants something from her and he will have to protect her, but finds himself getting pulled into her arms far too easily. Not that he is complaining! Someone believes she has information they want and it is somehow linked with her boss. What he is mixed up in she has no idea, but he has passed something on to her device, without her knowledge and she is kidnapped and taken away by some scary looking guys and Gage is unable to stop it. He has to meet up with the rest of his SEAL team and get her back, as he begins to realise he doesn’t want to continue without her by his side. He is making a mess of things and his teammates have to tell him to make it right with her, before he regrets it all. They all want to know why Nick was killed and who is trying to now set them up as being responsible for his death. The story has so much more to come, as the secrets start to be revealed and they have to follow the clues to get to who is behind it all. I look forward to reading the next one in the series and see where the story goes. I received an ARC copy of this book form BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Gage and his SEAL team need to figure out who killed their friend Nick and why or they are going to be accused of killing Nick. Gage signs up to be a cover model for a romance novel cover shoot in hopes that he can dig up information at the publisher that seems to be tied to the killing. What Gage doesn't expect is to meet Anna. When danger strikes during that photoshoot, they find themselves on the run and in trouble. Can they figure out who is after them?

This story is very short so I'm not going to go into extreme detail in the review. Gage is almost a sketch of a character instead of a fully fleshed-out character with lots of history and background. The author gives just enough to explain his reactions and to push the story forward. Anna gets the bulk of the background because her mother, Eloise, is a part of the story. The author spends some time building up the relationship between Eloise and Anna. The reader also gets a sketch of the other men in the SEAL team and of Anna's best friend. It's pretty clear the author had a big idea and then broke it down into individual stories that would focus on each man and the woman they fall in love with. This will be a series that will have to be read in order or else the reader won't get the full effect.

There were a few moments in the book that made me stop and lose the flow. For example, there is an alarm and explosion in a building. The next day Anna returns to the building to start cleaning up and determining damages. That's not how that works in real life. There was no mention of a water damage clean-up team or an insurance damage assessment so that was not realistic. Also, there were times when the characters seemed to know exactly where everyone lived and worked and then they magically didn't. For example, Gage picked up Anna for a date but then a couple of days later asked her where she lived. Maybe I didn't understand the scene but I don't think so. Another example is friending someone on Facebook. It sounds silly but for them to friend Anna on Facebook does not mean they are her friend immediately. She has to accept the friend request. It sounds like a stupid complaint but it's kind of important to the story (yes, they have a quick solution to it but it annoyed me in the moment).

I will definitely read the next book in the series. I am looking forward to learning how Scotty helps to solve the mystery and how he makes a relationship work with his woman (readers meet her in this book).

Let the action begin, would be a great motto for this book as from the very first page you start feeling the adrenalin pumping as Gage Jackelson was on a mission. He and the rest of his SEAL Team had been sent on what should have been a cut and dry mission, but they had been set up. A single shot fired by a sniper killed one of their team, but it turned out to be from friendly fire so the rest of the team was being investigated. The whole team was understandably upset, but things were not adding up. The widow missed both the wake and the funeral, and no one knows her where abouts. That leaves the team to investigate on their own which puts Gage in the hot seat. When they decided he was the best one to go to the publishing company where Nick's wife had her books published, since he had one of her books in his personal belongings, when he died. It happened the morning he went to talk to them. They were looking for male cover models so he thought an inside job might gather more information. He managed to win the job over several other guys. The day of his shoot he met the photographer, Anna Middleton. She was great at her job knowing exactly how to get Gage to relax into more natural poses. She had learned a lot about his background which came in handy during the afternoon session. When alarms went off in the building. Anna told everyone it involved chemicals so they should all take the stairs to the roof, but the manager disagreed taking the stairs down going into the chemicals. Anna and Gage took the other stairway up twenty floors to the top floor discovering the boss' office had been tossed and a helicopter was taking off from the roof. Something was differently going on, but what no one was really sure. Somewhere during the day Gage and Anna seemed to bond finding a trust or kindred spirit in each other. Before long Gage got the feeling someone was watching Anna so he stayed close by just in case. Gage was in deep with Anna. SEAL Team was about to go down for something that was not their doing if they did not find something soon, and so far their search for Nick's widow had found no results. Time was running out for them, the commander could only do so much. Join the exciting adventure as they search for answers.

Conspiracy pt. 1.
Awesome book. Gage is after information on who and why his teammate, Nick, was killed because someone is trying to make it look like the rest of them did it. Somehow the publishing house is connected so, here he is posing as a model for book covers. The photographer, Anna, is a beautiful woman and he can’t help but watch her. Anna does more than just photograph him, she memorizes every inch of his sculpted chest as he stands shirtless in front of her. Suddenly an alarm sounds in the building Gage grabs Anna when she says that it’s not the fire alarm but, the one for chemicals. As they go up the stairwell an explosion from the other side of the building goes off. When they get to the top floor Anna notices her boss’s office has been ransacked. After being rescued Gage asks her out and they get close fast. He watches her everyday knows something is not right. When he arrives at her place he finds Anna standing in the doorway and motions for her to stay silent. Then two men walk out of her bedroom with guns and a fight ensues. Gage drags Anna out calls the police and his teammates and hide. He has a feeling that the men weren’t alone. When they exit the back of the building more squad cars pull up but, these aren’t real cops. After another fight Gage is hit over the head and Anna is drugged and kidnapped. He and his buddies capture the left behind “cop” and throw him in the trunk. Getting information from the guy takes some creativity but, he does lead them to where Anna is being held. Anna’s boss is also being held in the shack, she can hear him talking. A man with severe burns questions her about a file her boss sent her but, she tells him she doesn’t have it. He doesn’t believe her telling her she better figure out how to get it. The teammates enter through underground tunnels then spread out. Gage searches for Anna who amazingly enough runs right into him after escaping the room. She tells him that the man is still in there and gives him his name. Becks. Of SEAL Team Four. This is a serious problem because ALL of that Team is dead.

Leslie North has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Anna and Gage. Gage is part of a seal team and someone has set them up for trouble. Nick, one of their team members has been killed on a mission. Now the team is wanting answers. Gage is sent to Coran Williams Publishing to try and get answers to the whereabouts of Nick's wife. He is mistaken for a cover model. Anna is the one doing the photo shoot for the cover and there is an attraction between them. Something happens while Gage is with Anna at the shoot. He gets her to safety but now wonders why someone is after her. Gage talks Anna into going out with him after they are checked out. Later she finds out her boss is missing and no one can find him. Anna is on her way to work one morning when all of a sudden her car stops. A few days later, Gage calls her and asked her to have dinner with him but she tells him she is going to have a night in. A little later, she goes out but doesn't get far. Her car stops on her and a man comes up and asked if she needed help. She tells him that it just stopped on her. For some reason, she backs away from the man. Just about that time a car comes up and it is Gage. He asked if she needed some help. When she tells him about the man, he asked "What man?" When she looks the man is not there. Gage is there to help her and he calls and has her car towed, then takes her home. Things happen between them and he ends up spending the night with her. Gage is with Anna when they get attacked and Anna is taken. Gage feels guilty for not keeping her safe. Gage and his team go and find Anna. They get Anna back but lose the one thing that can help them find out why someone is after her and to help find out who killed Nick. Gage and his team try and figure out what is going on but Anna comes up with a plan and Gage is not happy about it. She tells them that she can get some information at work. She goes in the next day, and she gets some information that she needs.
Can Anna and Gage make things work between them?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Gage begins the SEAL Team Ten series with an explosive story in both emotions, sizzle, and danger. A member of their team has been killed, in a precise hit-like fashion while they were on a mission. Now the questions begin, and the rush to find who exactly killed Nick and why begins. The clues lead to a publishing house and it’s there that Gage first meets Anna, standing in as a male cover model… and with his good looks, it’s a natural second profession, so to speak.

I was drawn into this story from the very start. It’s an intriguing concept of a SEAL being singled out for assassination while on a mission – which leads to his entire team being suspected of causing his death. Now they are the ones who need to solve his murder as well as save their own reputations.

I adored Anna. She’s smart, stubborn, and fully capable of taking care of herself. The sizzling attraction between Gage and Anna leaps off of the page almost as much as the intense rush to solve Nick’s murder. There’s danger, sexy times, the comradery between the team members, and a few questionable folks as well. This is also the style of book where this couple’s story is complete yet I was left with a slight cliffhanger feeling as we get ready to move into the next story and the continuation of the story arc. I loved it but the style of the ending surprised me a bit. If anything, it made me anticipate Scotty even more.

I had a blast with Gage, and if you love a well-written, at times gritty, intense Romantic Suspense with believable characters, and steamy as a jungle… then you’re going to love this one.

Gage is a hot, and sexy SEAL who, along with his team, is trying to investigate the death of a teammate. His death was targeted and the team is being set up to take the blame. Their Commander is giving them a chance to investigate on their own and to lay low, out of reach of whoever is trying to frame them. Following a clue to a publishing house, Gage ends up posing as a cover model for a beautiful photographer, Anna. Though she has sworn off men for awhile, their is just something about Gage that she connects to, and not just his sexy body. Poor Anna never expected her model to be a real SEAL, or that he would have to rescue her repeatedly as she gets drawn into a dangerous situation that appears to include the reason why Gage’s friend and teammate was killed. Gage never expected to develop a deep attraction and connection to Anna, the woman he is essentially using to get information. He finds that Anna is much stronger then she thinks, especially after discovering more about a painful incident in her past and her tense relationship with her very controlling mother. When things go haywire, suddenly rescuing and protecting Anna is not just a job to Gage…it’s very personal. Their investigation into his teammate’s death is not concluded in this book and I am sure readers will see more of this couple in the next few books in the series.

I liked the fast pace of this book as well as the intrigue and suspense. The characters are believable and fascinating, easily drawing me into their story and leaving me eager to read the next book in the series. This is a great start to Leslie North's new series "SEAL Team Ten".
Gage Jackelson was part of a five man team, except that it wasn't, there were now only five members of SEAL Team Ten, Gage, Scotty, Spencer and Kyle, Kyle's older brother Nick had been murdered, shot whilst they were on a mission but the team were being set up to take the blame, who was setting them up and why ? the only way they had of clearing themselves was to find out who killed Nick.
Nick's wife, Natalie, had disappeared, they needed to infiltrate the publishing company that she worked for to search for clues. When an advert appeared for a male model at the same publishing company Gage drew the short straw and reluctantly applied for the job.
Anna Middleton was the photographer and it did help that she was blond, blue eyed and beautiful.
The team's boss believed in them and told them to disappear, this story follows the SEAL team keeping undercover whilst they searched for a killer, little did Gage know that in the process he would fall for feisty Anna and that she would put her life in danger to help them, Gage would do anything in his power to keep her safe.
This is an action packed love story, that ends with Anna and Gage in a good place but the story doesn't end with this book, I suspect that you must read the full series before the plot is uncovered, this didn't detract for me as I did enjoy the story but I do like to know if a book is going to end on a cliffhanger.

Another New North Series That I Can’t Put Down
Leslie North is one of my favorite finds over the last year, and the military-themed romantic suspense that is regularly churned out of the North camp is full of heat and suspense! Somehow, North manages to find a way to add a twist to make each knew series or trilogy unique in its own way, and the same is true for the newest series, SEAL Team Ten. Book One introduces the team and sets the stage for an intriguing plot that will unfold over the course of the series. Now, I’m not normally one for books that don’t reach a resolution for the major situation at the end, but North manages to do so without making me feel cheated by a cliffhanger. In fact, if this one is written in the way North did another recent trilogy, I will be thrilled. In “Gage,” the title character, an active-duty Navy SEAL, infiltrates a publishing company to gain information for his team’s current mission, a situation that becomes a bit more complicated by his immediate attraction to a gorgeous, feisty photographer named Anna. Take multiple super-hot sailors, intense sexual chemistry, some aww moments from that insecurity we are prone to when we aren’t sure our feelings are returned, side characters like a snooty cat called Romeo and Anna’s uber-diva of a mother, and throw in some gunfire, and an enticingly well-developed storyline, and you have the magic that is Leslie North. Cannot wait to see which big bad SEAL gets his girl next!

Gage is Book one of Seal Team Ten. Navy SEAL Gage Jackelson and Anna Middleton meet when Gage goes undercover as a model at a romance publishing company where he is modeling for the companies photographer Anna in hopes that he can flush out some information that will lead him and his team to information on finding out who murdered one of the team. As he is there he’s wondering if Anna could know more than what she is indicating? He is going to need to get closer to her than he anticipated in order to really find out. Anna is absolutely gorgeous and he can’t keep his eyes off her. This is going to be much much harder than he ever thought! Anna’s personality and her predictable life is very laid back and quiet and she is ok with that right up until it ISN’T. Now things are not as they should be, her billionaire boss has disappeared, there has been an explosion at the office building, several mean nasty men have trashed her apartment and have kidnapped her thinking she has some vital information they want. Through it all she’s doing her best not to fall for her dream of a Navy SEAL protector hunk, she knows in her heart when its all said and done he will move on without her. This is a very good story. Lots of secrets, mystery, deceit, lies, amazing chemistry. I recommend. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

This is a great start to a new series by Leslie North where Anna and Gage are thrown together whilst Gage and his team investigates the death of his team mate Nick who whilst laying low because the team is being blamed for his death.

The investigation will continue in the next book and possible throughout the series, but as the books are being released close together there won't be much a wait between thankfully.

I loved these characters who are like complete opposites. Anna is a quiet photographer working fora publishing company, whilst trying to avoid her social climbing mother and Gage is all serious SEAL muscle and mystery. They meet whilst Gage is looking for leads about his team member's death and the link via Nick's wife to Anna's work place As expected with the SEALs, danger is never far away from them and they must find the missing pieces of the puzzle and fit them all together to solve the case.

I will definitely be reading the remaining books in the series as I can't wait to know more about the team and this unexpected mission, and of course the women that will claim the hearts of these brave men.

This is a great start to a new series, SEAL Team 10 by Leslie! Just something about former Team guys to keep our hearts beating! In the first book we meet Gage and Anna.
Gage is looking for answers to why one of their team members were shot and killed. Was in an accident or was it calculated? Was he the intended target or was someone else? So, to find these answers Gage went looking for solutions but ended up being mistaken as a actor sent for a photo shoot. Anna, was the photographer that thought Gage was really acting the part, well until she found out he was a SEAL and not just pretending. Little did they know; their first encounter would be overshadowed by accidents that keep putting Anna on Gage’s radar.
While I enjoyed this book tremendously, something tells me as the series goes on the plot will continue to thicken while they look for the man responsible for the murdered team guy. I am not a patient reader but I am so excited to read and enjoy how this series plays out.

Posing for a romance novel cover shoot was not in Navy SEAL Gage Jackelson’s plans. Finding out who killed his friend Nick was and following a lead brought him to photographer Anna Middleton. He and his teammates Scotty & Spencer are searching for Nick’s killer as well as Nick’s missing brother and wife. There is a slow attraction between Gage and Anna, but he is here to get information, not meet a woman. When there is an explosion in the building, he escapes with and protects her. The threats are not over as her bosses’ office and her home are ransacked. Someone is searching for a computer file and that person believes that Anna has it. Not sure who they can trust, they learn that during a previous tragic mission, only one SEAL survived and he wants the file. I don’t care for a story that has no clear ending unless I know that before starting the series and unfortunately that was not made clear with this book. This is the 1st book in the “SEAL Team Ten Series”. This is an entertaining, fast paced easy quick read that is action packed, drama filled, mystery, great characters and awesome plot. Gage is a super sexy alpha and member of the SEAL Team Ten. Anna works for Coran Wm Publishing, and she is a photographer. The two meet while Gage is working undercover as a romance cover model on a photo shoot. Gage is solving the murder of his SEAL Team member Nick and all the information seems to point to Anna that she knows more than she is telling. Nick’s wife Natalie is nowhere to be found. Gage is getting closer to Anna to find out what she knows. Who can Anna and Gage trust? First Anna’s billionaire boss disappears during explosion and now someone is stalking her.

Who killed Nick, where is his wife Natalie, who is stalking Anna, where is Anna’s boss, who set off the explosions, will Anna and Gage trust each other, is there an HEA in store for them?

Explosive from the start and I mean literally.
Loved both Anna and Gage, great chemistry between them. They meet while Gage is looking for answers to the murder of his SEAL team mate and stumbles into being a book cover model where Anna is the photographer.
Lots of action from the start of the book, the plot is really good and well written. Great balance of romance and suspense. Very intriguing, kept me turning the page to see what happens next.
Book one but can be read as a standalone, the main story does get a hea but the back story is a continuation so would need to complete the series for that part of the story but it doesn’t take away anything from this book, I read this on the back of reading book two Scotty, also really good, and the storyline has left me wanting to know how far the conspiracy goes.

Mystery, suspense and danger.I did not put this down until i got to the last page.
Gage and his team of seals wants to get to the bottom of their team mates murder and they need to find out who is behind it as the fingers are pointing at them. They find a clue which leads Gage to a publishing house where he meets Anna who works there.
He ends up modeling for her,but danger lurks around them and Anna becomes a target. He vows to protect her and keep her safe.
They start to get really close and give in to their attraction. Will Gage leave Anna as soon as she is out of danger or will he stay?
Could not put this down.It got more gripping as i turned each page and the plot thickened.Gage and Anna do get their HEA,but you have to read the rest of the books in the series as they are all connected.
I cannot wait for the next seal's s book in the series.

A great action packed story, the first in the series. Gage and his Seal team members are trying to find out how their team mate was killed. Gage pretends to be a model for a photographer, Anna, at the publishing company they are investigating in order to try and get more information. However it isn't long before danger is catching up with them, and more so Anna, which leave Gage wondering if she is hiding something. Gage soon realises that Anna isn't involved, but when she is kidnapped he begins to realise how much Anna has come to mean to him, and he won't stop until he gets her back. I loved this book, the characters are fantastic and i can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next. With action, drama, danger, passion and romance, a great all round book that you won't want to leave down.

Gage is part of Seal Team 10. He is doing a cover shoot for a dead friend, Nick to get intel. Anna is the photographer and Linda, the goth pixie make-up artist. Nick’s wife Natalie hadn’t shown up for the funeral. Gage is an Lieutenant, and is the demolition expert of his team. The rest of his team: Scotty, Spencer, & Kyle. Kyle was Nick’s blood brother and was taking his brother’s death hard. Natalie was working for the publishing company that Anna works for. Finding out how Nick died, my heart hurts.

Mayhem, plot twists and conspiracy, oh my! Gage is cute with Anna. It’s not a conspiracy if ppl are out to get you… this book is definitely a thriller on the side. Major emotional roller coaster! Anna’s mother is terrifying and should be a general. Romeo the cat is just so darn stoic it’s funny.

Awesome read! Can’t wait for the next book!.

Gage's Seal team was sent to do a mission that should have been simple. However, one of the team gets killed and it leads to an investigation of all of them. The team members wife disappears, and no one knows why. Gage is trying to find her, so he goes to the publishing company of her books first. When he arrives the company is looking for male model for book covers and he uses that to get his foot in the door to investigate. This has him match with Anna for a book cover job. Anna is a photographer and during the shoot they bond as they work. Suddenly an alarm goes off and chaos occurs. Will he be able to keep Anna safe? Will they find his team members wife? or the killer?

This is an amazing story that will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

One can never go wrong with the stories by this author, and this first book in the new SEAL Team Ten series, is definitely a winner.
Gage Jackelson, a Navy SEAL, is trying to solve the death of one of his teammates and his wife.
By chance he ends up being a model for a romance novel cover with Anna MIddleton as the photographer.
While wondering if she’s involved in the teammate’s death, Gage is definitely attracted Anna .
Meanwhile, Anna’s life has been turned upside down since their meeting.
Can they trust each other? Who is the killer? Will they survive the danger?
The engaging plot will keep you on the edge of your seats.
While I am not a fan of cliffhangers, but since I am a fan of the author, I will continue the series.

Gage and Anna meet when he decides to be a cover model for the publisher she works for. He wants to dig up some information and this may be the best way. Anna is the photographer and is surprised to see a SEAL as the model. Gage wonders how he is going to learn anything but then things start happening and Gage begins to worry about Anna’s safety. They both realize the feelings they have are developing into something more. Anna’s boss disappears and Anna become more involved than Gage wants her to be.
Spoiler alert: The story of Gage and Anna ends well but the bigger story is going to continue on in few more books. Don’t not read this one because it is a wonderful story but know that there will be more to follow.

An interesting book, but it ends on a cliffhanger. God, I hate cliffhangers. “Danger and desire are an intoxicating mix. They’ll need to work together to make it through…but will Gage stick around once he’s ensured Anna’s safety?”

Gage will do anything to solve his buddy’s death, even pose for the cover of a romance novel. He's intrigued by the feisty photographer. Gage is attracted to her even though she may be involved in his teammate's death. But when things go south and she's kidnapped, he realizes that he was wrong.

Anna is a photographer for Coran Williams Publishing. “She's staring at him wondering why a Navy SEAL would agree to do a cover shoot.” But it's a refreshing change from the usual models the agency sends over. After breaking for lunch, things go downhill, starting with a fire. Ever since Gage showed up, Anna’s quiet life has been turned upside down.

Gage begins the investigation! This is about Gage and Anna. The story starts off funny as Gage has to be a model in order to get intel on a missing person that he and his team are looking for. Anna is the photographer, but then her boss puts her in a position that is now threatening her life, but the good thing is that Gage is there to help and rescue her like he knows how to do, the problem is that he also falls for her and needs to separate himself from her because she was kidnapped and he thinks its because of him and the case they are working on. Anna is a politician’s daughter and it is funny how she has to uphold herself in one manner but around him, she becomes another because she is tired of being alone!.
