The poetry of this ebook tries to go back, as much as possible, to the ancient Greece, from where, as it has been held, the art of poetry was transmitted to the western culture.
Generally, the poetry of this ebook is different from what is common in the modern poetry. Modern poetry sometimes read like prose broken into verses; whereas the poems in this ebook are delivered in form of classical poetry. Their verses are verses, and not prose.
Through the use of abstracted and representative imagery, real issues of life in real world are summoned into readers’ minds. Readers would, therefore, be induced to launch their own imaginative and interpretational skill and ability. This will stimulate intellect. Such effect can be mentally refreshing.
