Jessica did amazing job on telling Amaranta and Seeley story, I mean, Doctor meets biker. …..their backstory will have you cheering for these two to get their shit together …. Thank goodness for Eddie and Teddy to push them in to the right direction. Cuz Lord have mercy. these two never communicated properly.
Amaranta and Seeley took a different road in life, each going their own separate ways …… but doesn’t mean Seeley stopped having Feelings. for his Childhood best friend Amaranta……. Even thought Ama seem to be so Disappointed in Seeley’s choice of Lifestyle.
Seeley was a Henchmen and has no regrets. Yeah, we know that sometimes Seeley did side jobs without his Golden Glades Henchmen
Brothers, Huck didn’t like it but he let Seeley do his thing, until now
Due to Amaranta past, she dreamed of becoming a doctor, and she worked her ass off to do just that. And to come back to her old neighborhood to provide medical care for a low-income area where she had grown up.
This was a sweet book at times and sometimes even bit Heart wrenching, but it also had mix of a love story and bit of danger Thrown in. Plus, we could never forget all those sexy bikers…. I mean what more could a girl ask for …….. Happy Reading Everyone, I’ll see you on the other side

One can find beauty and goodness even in the depths of the worse neighbourhoods in the world, as illustrated by the ever-fantastic Jessica Gadziala. While everything else in one of the most dangerous areas in the city festers and rots, the sheer goodness of Dr. Amaranta Stone shines like a beacon. A beacon that lends torturous hope to many who have no reason to hope. The same beacon has shone on Seeley, who grew up with the beautiful and brilliant Ama, helping her with her studies, threatening her would-be bullies and trying to shield her from the worst things in life. But their relationship ended abruptly on the night before she left for college, and their interactions since her return to run the medical clinic back home have been prickly (at best).
Bad stuff happens - to everybody – but it’s far more likely to happen in their ‘hood. So when Seeley overhears on a police scanner that there’s a woman down in the medical clinic, he races to check on Ama. Because buried deep beneath his seeming indifference beats a loyal heart. This story is filled with action (and not always the good kind), internal conflict, suppressed feelings and emotional redemption – a true delight.

I really don't like this kind of whitewashing? CoverUp? Idk what you'd call it.
But guiltying the heroine into liking crime and criminals just because they are the heroes of this story? You can't be this blind and change the narrative so much.
Rest was all okay. I liked the chemistry and backgrounds of both leads.

If you love something, set it free. Seely know from the time he met Amaranta when they were young children that she was smart and was going to grow up to do something great. He knew he wasn't destined for greatness and made a hard decision to let her go.
Ama came back to her hometown after years of getting her medical degree to run a Clinic for the poor. Not a job where she makes a lot of money and they struggle to have supplies but its what she has always wanted to do - give back to the community where she grew up to provide medical care to the less fortunate. She watched her grandmother suffer and die due to lack of affordable healthcare.
Seeley and Ama were each others rocks when they were children. Their was a bond forged and when he walked away from her with no explanation when she was heading for college she was brokenhearted and after returning and seeing what he had done with his life she wasn't forgiving.
The two, even though opposites in many ways still had that strong bond pulling them. Can they both get past their issues brought on by their childhoods and admit their feelings for each other?

I love love love this book. Seeley is now one of my favorites in the Golden Glades series. I'm happy Seeley and Amaranta found their way back to each other. I love the history they have together as well as that Amaranta has a history with some of Seeley's "brothers".
I love this series. I want more of Eddie. I just love him and his personality. I actually would love to sit down and chat with him while eating his cooking.

I didn't feel the plot or is it the idea of the plot? The idea that she was guilted into thinking she didn't deserve better, that the 'gang' was exporting guns out of the town, keeping guns out of the community but moving them to other towns where more harm could be done in other communities, bad guys selling drugs and shit but gave money to charity to prevent next generation of drug users!!! Fancying up bad people!

Maybe it's because I haven't read any JG in a while, but I really liked this! I loved the dynamic between the characters and it actually made me believe a second chance romance, which is pretty rare.

True love never goes away
Seeley and AMA are a couple who have known and loved each other for all their young lives. Separation makes the heart grow fonder and Seeley protects his heart who is AMA. AMA has a heart so big for her neighborhood but that comes with a price and she is hurt. Seeley finally sees that he and AMA are meant to be after the trauma she endured. Love finds it’s way.

The JG I originally fell in love with is back! Not only do we get a sweet second chance romance, but we also get to spend quality time with other members of the MC as well as get some hints into possible future plans of the Club through new players that are introduced. Seeley is longer in length than her recent books so we actually get to know these characters and learn about their past history and the relationship they had. It feels like a complete story. Plus we get a wonderful Epilogue that ties things up nicely.
Seeley is such a great guy. He has loved Ama for so long and I was glad that the two of them were finally able to reconnect and see what was right in front of them. Ama is also a great person and I respect her so much for the dedication she has for being a doctor. The money isn’t what’s important to her, it's helping and making a difference to those in need in the troubled neighborhood she and Seeley grew up in. With the snippets we learn about their past, it’s clear they both deserve some happiness and a happy ending filled with love all around them.
I’m looking forward to getting stories about the other men, Eddie, Cato, Levee, Teddy and Alaric. I imagine Alaric’s story will melt my heart and Teddy’s will tug my heart too.

The heroine is a doctor who works in a medical clinic in a bad neighborhood, the same neighborhood she grew up in.
Seeley was her only friend when they were both kids.

The night before she was supposed to go away to college. They have sex. She was a virgin, and so was he. But she didn't know that.
He wanted her to have an amazing life. He wanted her to "get out" of the neighborhood. So he leaves her and never talks to her again. She cries for months over him.
As adults, she is now a doctor and he's a member of the Golden Glades motorcycle club. She is angry that he didn't "get out" and is a criminal. Sometimes he comes in for medical treatment (he gets stabbed) and she helps him.
She is attacked at the clinic by a drug addict looking for drugs. She has a broken arm, concussion, etc. He is still listed as her emergency contact. He goes to the hospital and then stays with her to help take care of her.
They fall in love again. She finally figures out he left her because he always loved her and wanted a better life for her. They get married and buy a house in a nice neighborhood and have 4 kids. She still works at the medical clinic but Teddy (rich guy character and friend to the MC) is now an investor so the clinic gets all the supplies it needs and she gets a raise.

So much to love about this book. Returning to the Golden Glades, we learn more about Seeley, his life before he joined the MC, and the girl who stole his heart way back when.
As always Jessica is able to grab my attention, with her hints towards the past connection our couple share, and how in spite of time passing fate brings them back together.
There is chemistry, passion but most of all a love that has been growing since childhood. It is easy to see why Seeley acted how he did when younger, how Ama's words could have been interrupted incorrectly but I feel that this pair needed to go their separate ways so that when reunited it was forever
It wouldn't be a classic JG book without a fab supporting cast of characters, some catch ups with the OGs and hints at who might have their story told next.

Seeley and Aramantas story
I love these books and this one is no exception. Great characters from main to supporting, well written, excellent storyline, what more could you want?

Seeley & Ama
The perfect match! I love this series for many reasons, one of which being the found family of this MC. They might be a 1% club, but they're not hardened by that, or the lives that brought them there.
Seeley especially finds ways to show his heart to his brothers, his club, and his woman - even when they aren't together. I love the interactions with everyone, and always adore when Edfie & Teddy get to play larger roles.
Ama is such a strong and sassy heroine! Her love for her community is just as warm and wonderful as Seeley's, and seeing the good they do together gave me warm & fuzzy vibes!
Great HEA, good balance of steam when they get there, and a wonderful epilogue!!

I just love Gadziala books. Every. Single. One.
I never get tired of her writing style.
I think it's because she really connects with the characters. Each one has a different layout that fits the characters so well.
Normally, I wouldn't be as into the way everything wrapped up in this book, but it just worked. It made sense for the characters that way.
I even loved Ama. I wasn't sure I would. She was judgy of Seeley in other books and Seeley was perfection in my eyes. But instead we get the grovel from the h which is a unique turn and again, worked so well!
This is probably my favorite of the series so far (I'm sure I say that about each one).

With misunderstandings from their past can they finally come together.
This was a lovely book to read who doesn't love a good love story mixed with danger and hot bikers.

Good addition to the series. Seeley and Ama were always a couple that intrigued me. In previous books we saw their connection so to finally have everything explained was awesome. I have to admit I am not a true fan of Ama but she was the perfect match for Seeley. Jessica Gadziala gave us another good read as she is known to do so I can’t wait for more from this series.

Second chance romance!! I was absolutely enthralled from page one. I appreciate how well the backstory was handled, with clarity but without dragging into minutiae or glossing over important details. The balance was perfect.
There was some dramatic action, but nothing very dark.

Such a sweet second chance romance
If you love second chance romances that tug at your heart strings, then Seely is for you. He's so lovable and protective, I was rooting for him before it was even his turn for a story. And she gives her all for what she believes in, that little neighborhood clinic, you can't help but love and root for them both.

I'm Conflicted
I'm conflicted... Like, why do you keep doing this to me, Jessica? How am I going to stay faithful to Fenway when you keep doing this? I thought we covered it with Salvatore that you would't make another wat-too-dreamy book boyfriend... And then you had to go and give us Seely... And Ama... She's my spirit woman. Another brilliant read in the bag!

Would she eventually have him a chance
I really enjoyed Selley and Ama's story. She was an over worked under paid doctor. And he was an outlaw biker that she thought could better himself. But underneath it all she always loved him but didn't admit to it until he walked away from her for a second time.

Seeley (golden glades henchmen Mc book 5)
I enjoyed reading about Ama and Seeley in this book. Seeley had a horrible childhood. Both Ama and Seeley were teenage sweethearts. The book was incredible and interesting. Other characters were included in this novel.

So much history with these two, thought they'd never communicate. Thank goodness for Eddie and Teddy. Loved Ama and Seely as a couple though and the epilogue was fantastic.

DNF @ 37% - I *love* Seeley, he's been one of my favorites since book 1 and I *hate* Ama for him. She was a shit and didn't deserve him...I tried to finish but I just couldn't get over it.
