Fantastic Story!!

One shared kiss years ago and then nothing. Bri is now with her best friend Daisy on the Pushing Daisies Tour. Daisy’s brother Mack just happens to be that guy she kissed years ago and now they have to see each other 24/7. Will he be able to fight his draw to Bri? He did it once when he thought she was too young for him but now all bets are off and just maybe Mack is tired of fighting his true feelings for Bri.

This whole series of Pushing Daisies was fantastic for those of us who love rock romance. This is definitely an author I follow.

This is a well written book with strong characters in Mack and Brianna. They've both had the hots for one another but he's held back thinking she's too young for him .. until he can't fight it any longer. They have a strong connection and I loved watching them come together. The story moves fluidly and is an enjoyable read.

This is a sweet friend's brother rockstar romance. I felt for both of them, especially Bri. But she was strong and determined, there was no way Mack was going to be able to resist her in person. I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but after having fell in love with Bri and Mack, I will be sure to go back for the previous, and read any new ones that come out.

Brianna Keller was finally arriving on Daisy Thompson and her Brother’s tour today. After weeks of putting off her arrival, today was it. She had been traveling with her father. When she finally arrives, it’s late, and the tour buses for Pushing Daisies are still at their last venue, waiting for her. There is no way they would leave without her. This is the longest the two of them have been apart from one another. There is no way Daisy would allow it to happen.

She didn't care how anal Mack (McKinley) Thompson her brother and manager can be. Now, here’s the Sticky Wicket of it all... Mack’s heart has been aching since he turned Bri down when she was eighteen. He couldn't get past their age difference. To him, the six years made them so vastly different in age from her. The way he talked it was as if she was underage and he was twenty years older. But six?

Anyway, when they start to put them together, everyone but Daisy and Bri can see what she means to him. Even the guy’s girls know it. But, he can only deny, deny, deny. Until Lawson tells him that he had thought the same thing. To which Mack growled, but Lawson said, But it would have only hurt Daisy. By not knowing that he loved her, and wanted to be, with just her. He said he couldn’t lie to her.

But, seeing that Mack was still so far in his head he had to say something. Then, he started razzing him. He also said it explained why he fought so hard to keep them apart because he couldn't be happy with Bri so Lawson couldn't be happy with his sister. Or as they all had (BEEN) calling baby sister. The guys had started to come around Van and Mack had been the Holdouts but when Van started dating Lexi, Lawson’s sister he lost all his gusto. Leaving Mack and even his bite had no sting anymore. It was all pretty funny.

This story overall is more serious due to an illness Bri is trying to overcome. No one knows yet, but Daisy only finds out on the day of arrival. The nature of why he feels the way he does and the situation from Mack’s perspective concerning Bri. In the end, we do get to know what happens for the couple beyond the end of the tour. One will truly surprise you.

One little kiss sparked something between them a few years ago, but it never really amounted to much. Right after their steamy little encounter Mack went radio silent on her, and Bri's not really sure why. But with any luck she'll get the answer to that question very soon!

It's been a while since they have seen one another, and now that she has joined them on tour there are bound to be plenty of chances for her to get those answers... and hopefully they are ones that won't leave her with a broken heart!

Between the pages of this beautifully penned love story lies a story of two people who care deeply for one another, but are letting outside forces and their hang-ups about love keep them apart. They shared a kiss a while ago that neither has been able to forget about, and it's bound to stir up old feelings while they are trapped on the tour bus together. Bri has gone over that moment a million times wondering what she did wrong that sent Mack away, and what about it has caused him to want to avoid her at all costs. She's hoping that her time with them on tour will give her the answers she craves, and maybe more... but only time will tell!

I absolutely loved this addition to the series, it was steamy, mildly angsty, emotional, and left my heart skipping a beat! Mack caught my eye in previous installments and since then I have wanted to know everything about him and what makes him tick... and I am happy to report his story did not disappoint!

I have really enjoyed this series, each title comes with characters that instantly found their way into my heart, and their stories kept me thoroughly entertained! Highly recommend!

I don’t even have the right words to express how much I truly adored every single thing about this fantastic series . Rockstar romances are one of my very faves and HeatherYoung Nichols has such a gift when it comes to writing them !!! Mack is the fifth book in the pushing daisies series and absolutely should not be missed . So I literally just finished this amazing love story a few hours ago , I started late last night and became so sucked in that I ended up reading into the early morning hours just because it was that good and I had to know how it all turned out . It all started with one little kiss years ago .Little did Bri and Mack know that it would end up turning into so much more then they ever expected. It’s been a while since they have seen one another and not that Bri is joining them on the road they once again come face to face - man the instant chemistry is beyond hot . What a beautifully written love story , so full of emotion, and second chances , love and heartbreak. It’s The perfect amount of angsty and will grab onto you completely from start to finish . I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series

The final book in this series finally gives us Mack’s story. Throughout the series his siblings have all found their hea. Mack has been the single holdout because he can’t have the one he wants. His sisters best friend, Brianna, is joining Daisy on the tour after cancelling the last several attempts. Bri is the one he can’t have because of the age difference (the same gap as his sister and Lawson, a relationship which he fought against happening). Turns out his protest was based on his not allowing a relationship between him and Bri. Now Bri and Mack, because of the close quarters of touring, are forced to face their feelings. Only one big thing stands in their way and it’s something Bri has kept to herself to avoid it changing the way she’s viewed by the Thompson’s especially Mack. I hate that this series is over especially since it was a spin-off to Courting Chaos/Kissing Cinder which started this whole rockstar saga. I look forward to the new rockstar series due out early 2022!

This is the first time reading anything by this author and she did not disappoint! I loved this book so much that I went and bought the rest of the books in this series and her Courting Chaos series!

Mack and Brianna both had feelings for each other for years but because of their age difference, Mack fought his feelings. When things escalated three years ago and he put a stop to it, they hadn’t talked much since. That is until she comes on tour with him to spend time with her best friend, his little sister. With no other choice but to engage with her, he tries to fight his feelings more but with encouragement from his siblings and their significant others, he can’t fight them anymore. But will the one secret she has be enough to push him away for good or will it be the thing that actually helps him through his feelings?

I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving a free copy. I would and will be recommending this series to all my friends!

The last single Thompson brother left and his struggle to forget the one he can't have soon becomes impossible as she joins the band on tour to visit her best friend, his sister. Bri has had a crush on Mack forever, but what we uncover is that Mack hasn't been able to get her out of his mind and thoughts since that night years ago. He stopped it before it went too far convinced he was too old for her, but now that she's around him 24/7 it might finally snap his resistance and we all get to watch it unfold, one irresistible moment after another. It's impossible not to see these two together so it's really just a waiting game for Bri (and us) with our sexy but incredibly stubborn Mack to realize he has no other choice. A great end to this series especially since Mack has been too mysterious and moping in the other books leading up to this.

I have been impatiently waiting for this story ever since we first met the Thompson siblings. Oldest brother and the foundation keeping them together, Mack has been the one I have most wanted to know more about. And Bri is perfect for him. She’s a little bit of a spitfire like Daisy, but I think that just comes from having grown up with them all. She’s not afraid of calling any of the “big bad rockstars” out, not even their big bad big brother manager. There’s a good dose of angst in this book as Mack wrestles with their age difference and Bri deals with her health concerns. However, when all’s said and done, I completely adored this ending to the series. The only problem is that now I feel like I need to go into mourning because I’m going to miss these characters so much.

Mack will thrill you, will keep you engrossed but more importantly it will leave you swooning.

Bri and Mack have been dancing around each other for year's, well more to the point Mack has, believing the 6-year difference in their age is too big a gap, especially when he gave his sister who also happens to be Bri's best friend, a hard time with her new boyfriend due to the same age difference. But now Bri is going to be on the tour with them for a couple of months and the chemistry and growing feelings between the two have nowhere to hide. Bri has been in love with Mack since she was 15 now at 21 and he 28 those feelings have just grown, but she has come on the tour hiding a secret and she isn't sure how to tell Mack especially as the pair seem to be getting closer.

This is the fifth book in this amazing series and is Mack and Bri’s story. Mack is Bri’s best friend Daisy’s older brother, and after they shared a hot kiss a few years before, Mack has ghosted her ever since, leaving Bri wanting answers as to what she did wrong. When Daisy asks Bri to go on tour with her she agrees, and now Mack will have nowhere to run to as they will constantly be in each other’s space. Mack thinks that Bri us too young for him, but his siblings try to convince him otherwise. Will Bri get the answers she craves? This is a beautifully written story which has a tad angst, emotions, secrets, family, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Mack by Heather Young-Nichols was an amazing finale to Pushing Daisies series. Finally we get the last sibling's story with oldest brother Mack and the only woman he has ever loved. Three years ago, Mack and Bri, his sister Daisy's best friend shared an encounter but he quickly stopped it leaving Bri heartbroken. Ever since he has avoided being around her. But when she joins Pushing Daisies on tour to spend time with Daisy, Mack is forced to confront his feelings. But Bri is hiding something that could rip them apart forever. Really loved the back and forth between the siblings. They may argue and give each other a hard time but they definitely love and look out for each other. Definitely recommend. Also excited for the Courting Chaos series!

Mack is managing Pushing Daisies the band that his sister is in and trying to maintain. Bri is the sisters best friend that has always had a crush on him. They had a moment years ago and then Mack went cold. Now here they are around each other when Bri visits her bestie. The banter and chemistry is there but Mack is fighting it thinking the age gap is too much.

I love finding new author and falling in love with née series. Strong characters and great story. Here you have age gap, rockstar and sisters best friend trope. Mack is one delicious package and tries to curb his feelings for Bri. She is trying to tear those walls down. The feels between these two was a bit of angst and lust. Loved the side characters . Great read and a plus for me!

Mack has watched his siblings find their one, but the one he feels for can never be. Brianna and Mack kissed a few years ago, but all he sees is the warning signs - she is six years younger and his sisters best friend. Now his sister invited her on the tour so they will be close up for a while and now the fireworks can begin as some answers are told.
The characters terrific, with intense feelings and situations. The storyline has great locales, banter, drama, understanding, romance, and family pushing each other toward the right path. Loved the family hijinks and support. The ending was great and finished off the series nicely.

I enjoyed Mack and Brianna's story a lot. Manager and oldest brother of the siblings that make up Pushing Daisies, a band on the rise, Mack always thought he was too old for his sister's best friend Brianna, so he stayed far away, but now twenty-one, she is back in his life after sister Daisy invites her on the tour. Denying himself the only woman he has ever wanted just became a losing battle!

This is a great story and it held my interest all the way through. Mack and Bri are likable characters and so sweet together. Since Mack is the last single sibling, I don't expect that there will be any more books in this series but all the books are really good and I will miss these characters.

Finally Mack has his own story. This is the fifth book in Pushing Daises and I really say that every story is my favorite but I really can't decide. I love this author's writing. Her characters are just amazing.
I absolutely loved the first person point of view, because I loved Bri and hearing her thoughts in the first person was amazing. And she and Mack were just amazing and so sweet together. I read the story in one sitting. 5 stars. This is a must read, especially if you've read the previous books in the series.

I have been waiting for this book for so long. I really have enjoyed the series. This book however was fun and entertaining in some parts but overall slow and boring. It just didn’t have much spark. All of the errors in spelling, words, and inappropriate sentences was extremely distracting. Whoever proofread this book should be let go. They couldn’t even spell Mack correctly part of the time, Spelling it MACH. When they called Bri Bris or when they stated that Bri had her front to her back… That would be impossible. Just a little more attention to detail. When you’re selling a product the consumer expects for it to be correct. Shame on that person for letting you down.

I really enjoyed "Mack" by Heather Young-Nichols. I feel like I've been waiting for Mack's story for a long time. We've been getting glimpses and hints that there is a back story to him and Daisy's best friend Bri. I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I would have gladly paid full price for this book though - This story was worth the wait. The story is well written and the character development that is always present with this author makes this story come to life and kept me so engaged from the first page until the last.
This is a great addition to your book collection. All her books are.

Mack has feelings for Bri and she seems to have feelings for him too. There seems to be some guilt Mack is feeling because he’s older then Bri, she’s his little sister’s best friend. They’ve known each other since they were kids. Now she’s spending a few weeks traveling with the band and he’s running from her every chance he gets, this next few weeks he’s going to be in hell. They’re so adorable together and sweet. He loves her and wants to take care of her. When they finally got together I thought my kindle was going to burst into flames, it was hot. I loved this series and this one didn’t disappoint. I’m giving this book five stars and highly recommending it.

This was a good solid Best Friends brother romance. I wont say age gap like the story revolves around because in my opinion its not!

The storyline was intriguing but its an extremely SLOW BURN! Bri and Mack had a one time heated kiss years before and they obviously had chemistry and feelings towards one another. But Mack got freaked out and pretty much ignored her existence.

They are forced to be together for a while and he just has a hard time accepting their age difference which was pretty annoying at times.

Eventually they do get a HEA but I expected just a tad bit more. It was a good read but just keep in mind its super slow.

Quick read. Briana has Loved her best friends oldest Brother Mack since she was a teenager. She had her chance 3 years ago, but Mack put a stop to it thinking she was too young. After being sick for a while, Briana decides to join her best friend Daisy and her brothers/band mates on their tour for a few weeks. However, being with Mack brings all her feelings to the surface again. Ends in many HEAs. Would love to read the stories about how the other members of the family/band found their soulmates.

Rockstars romance is my favorite trop and the whole Pushing Daisies series did not disappoint.
Mack and Brianna have a 6 year age gap that has always been a problem for him. I love how brave and sure of what she wanted, she is. And Mack is absolutely adorable, always looking after the others. Overall, this is a sweet story with a bit of angst as we find out about Brianna's medical issues. It was a greet ending to a great series, and for those who don't like reading series this can absolutely be read as a standalone.

A few years later, Bri accepts her best friend Daisy's invitation to go on the Pushing Daisies tour, which brings her closer to Mack and to try to find out what led him to stay away from her.
Mack is the band's manager and always tries to keep his brothers in line, but when it comes to Bri, he can't forget the kiss they shared.
As they spend more time together, will Mack be able to hide his feelings and stay away from Bri?
I loved the story and the characters. I highly recommend the reading.

The story of Bri and Mack's past encounter has been a lingering mystery, with Mack's abrupt withdrawal leaving Bri searching for answers. As they embark on tour together, Bri sees an opportunity to finally understand what drove Mack away and potentially reawaken their connection. Mack finally has to face his feelings for Bri but will a secret she's keeping keep them from the HEA they're both dreaming of?
I absolutely loved this series as well as all of the books written by Heather Young Nichols...if you haven't read'em, what are you waiting for??

Mack has been fighting his memories and feelings for Bri for years but once she joins the band on tour, courtesy of his sister, Daisy, his days were numbered. Watching him fight fate was enjoyable but we all knew it was just a matter of time. Once again love wins. I had not read the other books in the series but now plan to starting with Daisy.

I’m loving this series and this is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, bands etc and now this is Mack’s and Bri’s turn. Mack and Bri once kissed and then they parted ways now Bri is back visiting her best friend Daisy the lead singer of Pushing Daisies, Bri has a medical condition that no one apart from her parents or her best friend Daisy knows about but what is worrying Bri more was seeing Mack again. I loved this story and the characters and I highly recommend this book/ series.

This was such a great best friend older brother romance. I loved how sweet Mack is. Bri has been in love with Mack ever since she was 15, but what do you do when her bestie older brother doesn't look at her that way. When Bri joins their tour for the summer their love blossoms.
