Danger lurks around every corner… but it’s romance that comes as the biggest surprise

Navy SEAL Scotty Devonshire has one weakness: women. But a long-term relationship? That’s not his style—until Hayley Stevens walks into his life. All he wants is to find his SEAL teammate’s widow and clear his buddies’ names. Turns out Hayley, a hacker extraordinaire, is trying to find the same woman. Hayley’s smart, cute, and more fascinating than any woman Scotty has ever been with. He can’t get her out of his head, no matter how hard he tries.

Hayley is shocked to find that she and Scotty are searching for the same person. And she’s not so sure that Scotty and his teammates are as innocent as they claim. But despite her doubts, she can’t help but be attracted to the sexy SEAL. That chiseled body, those dreamy blue eyes… It’s only a matter of time before she gives in to smoldering temptation.

But when the two find themselves fighting for their lives, they both begin to wonder… will they live long enough to confess how they really feel about each other?

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book for an honest review.

Another short and intriguing story. This one about Navy SEAL Scotty and FBI Analyst Hayley. There is an on-going storyline that carries across all 4 books in this series so it pays to read them in order.

A wonderful read, terrific characters and an amazing scenario you’ll enjoy immensely
This was a simply wonderful addition to the series and I guarantee that you will enjoy the characters and the plot of this book immensely, the characters have been written simply wonderfully and I guarantee that you’ll not be able to put this book down till you reach the last page and discover the outcome.
Scotty is a navy seal and he is renowned for always keeping a promise and I guarantee that when he promises to do something he keeps it. So, this is why using his hacking skills he has been trying to find his teammates sister and has not been having too much success.
He meets Hayley who has it happens is also searching for the same woman and even though she is a little unsure she realises that perhaps Scotty and his team mates may know more that they are letting on. Still, they join together on their venture to find the team mates sister and continue to search.

When they are both put into a situation where they are fighting to save their own lives they realise that there is obviously something very suspect going on and unless they discover what it is they might not have very much longer…..

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Scotty is a Navy SEAL who is working undercover with his team to investigate the suspicious death of a fellow teammate and they believe that his missing wife may hold the answers. The search leads him to a location but rather than finding the woman they were looking for they find Hayley, an FBI agent who is investigating the same case.

Hayley has IT skills that are second to none and she is trying to prove her worth as an agent. When she and Scotty find themselves not only in the same location but investigating the same case she puts aside her reservations and they agree to work together which is when the danger really begins.

Scotty and Hayley take us on an action-packed adventure filled with surprises, intrigue and romance and has us looking forward to the next book in the series.

This is book two f the SEAL Team Ten series and the main characters are Navy SEAL Scotty Devonshire, and FBI Agent Hayley Stevens, who works in their Cyber Intelligence team. She is pushing to find out information on Natalie Matthews, the widow of Nick Matthews, the Navy SEAL who was killed on SEAL Team Ten’s last mission. She hopes that finding out all she can, will win her the promotion she has been hoping for, especially when there is word that their team will be disbanded and she could lose her job. Scotty and the team, Kyle Matthews, Nick’s brother and their Team Leader, Spencer Nixon, and Gage Jackelson, have been looking for clues as to who was behind Nick’s death, something they are now being blamed for! Each book continues the story of the team looking for the main culprit behind this killing, which seems to have some very high power people involved. One of them is clearly Nick’s widow, an author, somehow connected to secret codes written in some of her stories and placed into e-readers by publishing tycoon and former military man Coran Williams. They are looking for Natalie and need to find her before the killers and the FBI, can either kill her or lock her away with information they may need. Natalie has disappeared, so the team are sent on different tasks to look for leads.
Scotty is sent to Natalie’s former home, but runs into someone who is already searching the house, that would be the kitchen implement wielding Hayley! Not much use against a gun, as they say! He shouldn’t tell her anything his team are doing, but he soon finds himself drawn to her and trusting her to help them. They both want to find Natalie, but she is soon going to find out that she may not be able to even trust those closest to her at the FBI. Hayley has excellent hacker skills and was able to find out that the supposed death of Natalie was faked and she had found evidence of her alive and well in the area. Scotty can’t get Hayley out of his head and must watch out that he doesn’t put her or his team in danger by being distracted by her. Someone powerful has put out a story that Scotty’s team were behind Nick’s death and they are being hunted. At least their commander believes in them and has allowed them to investigate the killing of their teammate and keeping the authorities away from them as much as he can. Hayley isn’t sure what to believe until her own kind twist the story and offer a deal without authority! This makes Scotty and the rest of the team seem so much more believable, but she is in danger by doing so and one of the foes manages to capture her, leaving Scotty beside himself. Neither Scotty nor Hayley can resist the way they feel about each other and Scotty will have to face the wrath of his team leader when he does. A cracking read, full of danger and intrigue, but also one of falling in love at the most inappropriate moment, by a hard-nosed Navy SEAL and the beguiling woman who is more than his match! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and see where their investigation leads them and who falls in love next. I would recommend this to any who love a bit of romance, steamy in parts, but also with an interesting backstory for both characters, as well as danger and intrigue. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

I really enjoyed this novel by Leslie North. Somehow, I missed the first book in the series, Gage, but this book does okay as a standalone. That said, it's probably better to read the series from book one because there's an overarching storyline (SEAL Team Ten's hunt for the person or organization that killed their teammate Nick and sets them all up) that's going to span all four novels.

This novel follows Scotty and FBI cybercrimes investigator Hayley. They have a SEAL-style meet-cute when they run into each other at Nick's widow's house, where they both went secretly, each trying to find out where Natalie was and what she was hiding. Perhaps a bit too quickly, they decide to trust each other and work together. When we're first introduced to Hayley, she seemed like she was going to be a cute, slightly bumbling do-gooder who is far too naive to be the field agent she dreams of being. Instead, she's a hacking genius (supposedly, but I wish we saw more evidence of that) who is quick on her feet and easily able to keep pace with Scotty and his team.

The two all but experience instalove in the middle of dodging bullets and dealing with colleagues who may be more treacherous than trustworthy. There's a little angst because Scotty, a former foster child, feels slightly unworthy and Hayley has had a habit of dating asshats, but it never catches much traction. Most of the drama comes in the form of suspense related to Nick's death. And that's the kind of romantic suspense that I like.

I do think the ending was too abrupt; I swiped a page only to realize that the book was over (after a final chapter that serves as a teaser or Spencer's story). I'm not entirely sure how much progress the team made toward resolving the mystery surrounding Nick's death, and I did feel slightly cheated. However, I'm definitely interested in reading the last two books in the series, so maybe this book did it's job.

I received an ARC of this book for free from the publisher and Netgalley. I'm writing this review voluntarily, and it reflects my honest opinion. Thanks!

Scotty continues the SEAL Team Ten series with an intensity that is becoming standard operating procedure for this particular series… and I’m loving that fact.

As Team Ten members continue to search out answers as to who killed their teammate, Nick, and why, the danger they themselves are in ratchets up a few notches. Scotty has a mission to do a search on Nick’s missing wife and while doing so came across one sexy woman who is doing the very same thing. Oh, they might have tossed out a few lies to each other to hide what they’re actually doing in this house… but the attraction is hot and strong from their first encounter and only builds from there.

As Hayley and Scotty search for answers, the danger is closing in on them and the other Team Ten members from unexpected fronts. Their sizzling attraction is burning brightly in the background of very real threats that will reveal some unexpected information that could change everything. I can’t say too much about Scotty because, frankly, you really need to uncover these clues and discoveries for yourself firsthand. Just about anything else I’d say here could be a possible spoiler.

What I am comfortable saying is that this series is smoking hot in the passion department and intensely intriguing in the mystery or suspense department. We learn a lot in Scotty, but we also get even more questions and I can’t wait to find out those answers! I loved Scotty, he’s an interesting man with his own issues aside from the Team’s self-made investigation. It took me a chapter or two before Hayley grew on me but once she did I loved the interaction between this couple. Their sizzling attraction might be off the charts but so are their tempers and their bantering. Spencer is up next and I can’t wait to discover more… what an underlying suspenseful storyline!

Another explosive story in Leslie North's "SEAL Team Ten" series.
SEALs worked in teams of five but now there were only four in SEAL team 10, Scotty Devonshire, Gage Jackelson, Spenser Nixon and Kyle Mathews, Kyles elder brother Nick had been their leader but he had been taken out by a sniper on their last mission, it was a set up, they were being blamed for shooting Nick and the FBI were on their tracks, they had to find the real killer and the reason for Nicks death. The answer seemed to lie with Nick's wife Natalie but she had disappeared, they had to find her before the FBI did, what did Natalie know ?
Hayley Stevens worked for the FBI in cybersecurity, she was hoping for promotion and she thought that if she did a little snooping into the disappearance of Natalie Mathews who the FBI were desperate to find it would earn her some brownie points, little did she know that whilst snooping round Natalie's house she would bump into the most ruggedly handsome man that she had ever set eyes on......navy SEAL Scotty Devonshire. Bemused Scotty wondered what a beautiful redhead was doing in Natalie's house, what did she know ?
This story follows Hayley and SEAL team 10s search for Nick's widow, things weren't as they seemed, Hayley was beginning to have doubts about the FBIs findings but who could she trust ?, did someone in the team kill Nick or had they been set up as they claimed ? could Natalie be involved ? who wanted SEAL team 10 out of the way and why ? who had enough influence to make it happen ?
This story has everything, action, nail biting suspense, red herrings, blackmail ind of course the mind blowing passion between Hayley and Scotty. This book has a happy ending but the story continues and I can't wait for the next one.

SEAL Team 10 is back! The men are still trying to figure out who killed Nick and why. Scotty is sent out to do some recon work and meets Hayley. Their flirty banter starts almost immediately. Then danger strikes and they have to work with Scotty's SEAL team to gather more clues to solve the mystery.

There is nothing at all wrong with this book. All I can say is that it just didn't work for me right from the start and in a book this short that is very hard to recover from. Hayley is a brilliant computer analyst, FBI agent who is also gorgeous but a little awkward. Scotty is gorgeous and a great cook. They are both brave and run toward trouble when it's happening. This book is full of the requisite "lethal glare" and "guys like him didn't go for gals like her" moments. By the end I didn't know anything about these two that would make me hope that they end up a happy couple. By the end I just wanted to find out what piece of intel they get to help them eventually solve the mystery. Even the bad guy in this installment was blah. Yes, the bad guy has a decent reason for doing what they are doing but there are plenty of people in the story that are doing things that really don't make a bit of sense. I think this story suffers from being short and fitting a formula. I am hoping that the next story in this series connects with me. Yes, I am going to keep reading this series because I want to know why the big bad guy is doing what he's doing to SEAL Team 10.

Book two in the SEAL Team 10 Series as the team continues trying to find the person responsible for the death of their team member Nick Matthew's. So far the team has been blamed for his murder, but their commander has been attempting to keep them off the radar giving them a chance to investigate clearing their names. Finally, they located an address where the widow had been living before she disappeared. Kyle sent Scotty to check the house for whatever he could find. All he found was FBI Agent Hayley Steven's pretending to be her niece. Scotty did discover that Hayley had hacking skills beyond belief that would be more than beneficial to the team. Also, he was more than a little attacked to her so much so he found it hard to keep his head in the game. Then Hayley learned her boss was on the take after the team. She was not sure who to trust. Through everything she was getting closer to Scotty, and she worried something would happen to him. Still they continued to search for the widow even running for their lives. Another terrific romantic suspense full of mystery, intrigue, and action from the very beginning. You will be on pins and needles waiting to see what happens next. Stay tuned for book three as the search for answers continues.

Scotty and his Seal team are looking for answers. The y are looking for Nick’s widow Natalie. They are being accused of killing their brother at arms. Scotty was looking at Nick’s house. Scotty ran into this red head he found he was attracted to. Hayley worked in the cyber division of the FBI. Things didn’t seem right and Hayley was doing some digging. She went to Nick and Natalie’s house for answers. She ran into a sexy man. She recognized him from her reports. She was attracted to him. They agreed to work together to find answers. Scotty wanted to turn on his charms. Hayley acted like she was not attracted to him. He knew better. Hayley wanted to solve the case to get her promotion.Things are happening neither one could believe. Someone is out to get them and they don’t know why. Things keep happening to the Seal team. Hayley’s boss has an offer for the Seal team. She doesn’t care which one of them confess but the rest will go free. This book keeps you on your toes. I’m routing for Scotty and Hayley. Between the team being accused of something they didn’t do, people out to get them Scotty and Hayley found time to fall for each other. Scotty doesn’t do attachments but something about Hayley makes him change his mind. Great book. Still want answers hopefully next book will have them.

I enjoyed Scotty and Hayley's interactions. Hayley's was strong, intelligent, quirky, and just a touch reckless. I thought it was sweet that she wanted to either protect Scotty or save him.

I liked that Hayley left Scotty a little insecure because she didn't fall all over him. Even when they grew closer and their relationship changed, Scotty still wasn't 100% sure. Hayley wasn't playing games, it was Scotty realizing he finally wanted more. Their romance was sweet, with a nice amount of humor and sarcasm.

The story of Nick's murder gets more intriguing in this book. I can't imagine who it is behind the scenes pulling the strings. SEAL Team 10 encountered some intense situations in this book, but it felt to me like the situation became even more puzzling.

There was a good amount of action, danger, intrigue, and suspense. Add in blackmail and a few life or death situations, and this book kept me on edge until the very end. Spencer's book sounds like he may end up being blindsided. I hope the pieces start to fall into place more because it feels to me like at this point, I only have part of the frame on the puzzle. I would give this 4.5 stars.

This is the second book in the SEAL Team Ten series which needs to be read in order as it is a continuing mission for the SEAL team to clear their name and find who is responsible for the death of their team number and brother.

This is a great read with wonderful characters and a plot in which you can immerse - a real page turner.

This book focuses on Scotty who is a sniper for the SEAL team and Hayley who is an FBI agent specialising in hacking. Officially the SEALs are suspended whilst the death of their team mate Nick is investigated. Unofficially they are conducting their own investigation to get Nick the justice he deserves.

Scotty meets Hayley when they both break into the same house searching for the whereabouts of the same woman, Nick's wife Natalie. Hayley doesn't fully trust Scotty despite agreeing to work together as she feels he knows more than he is telling her and that he is withholding information. As they grow closer they are both put in dangerous situations and their protective instincts for each other kick in.

I am sure you'll love this series as much as I do, and I can't wait to read the next installation. A fabulous read.

Hayley and Scotty are both strong-willed, stubborn and highly skilled in their chosen careers. She definitely doesn’t let the tough and hardened SEAL deter her from her her investigation, but rather goes toe to toe with him on several occasions. Both have well honed instincts that tell them they can trust each other as well as help each other out as they each try to discover why his SEAL teammate was killed and who was behind it. The fact that their chemistry is white hot and they soon find they can’t keep their hands off each other is a little unexpected for both of them, but even more unexpected is the feelings stirring in their hearts and the need to protect each other. The connection between the SEAL teammates is evident throughout this book, and soon Hayley finds herself part of the team, part of the family who will do or die for each other. The ongoing intrigues and suspense is not resolved and will continue through the next few books. I can’t wait read the next book, Spencer’s story.

I liked both the pace and intensity of this book. The fascinating characters were both entertaining and captivating and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book by Leslie North I have read, and it is book 2 in the Seal Team Ten series, which consists of four books.

Up until close to the end, I was thinking you could read this as a stand-alone book, however, discovered at the end that the main story flows across the series. In good news, all books are released in November 2022 so would recommend grabbing the full series if you don't want to be left hanging.

Book 1 - Gage, released November 3, 2022
Book 2 - Scotty, released November 10, 2022
Book 3 - Spenser, released November 17, 2022
Book 4 - Kyle, released November 24, 2022.

The ultimate story is around the death of a fellow team-mate taken out by a sniper; through each book a new couple will take center stage in these special ops, suspense romance stories. In this book, Scotty and Hayley (aka Red), are searching for Nick, the seal killed wife who has gone missing in the hope of uncovering who and why he was targeted. While some of the players are uncovered, the mastermind who is feared by those working for him is still out there to be discovered and stopped, but at what cost to the remaining Seal Team?

Overall, this was a quick easy read, had the ingredients you want form a special ops suspense romance.

The search for Natalie continues, and again I got caught up in the story (just as well we’ve had a few days of non-stop rain).

The first chapter had me laughing when man with gun is astounded when he is confronted by woman waving spatula.

Hayley is trying to prove herself to her boss, while Scotty, like the rest of SEAL Team Ten, is trying to unravel the series of events that lead to the death of Nick. It doesn’t take Hayley long to recognise that there is a lot more to the disappearance of Natalie than any of them realised.

Once again the characters aren’t perfect - cybergeniuses make mistakes just like the rest of us, the SEALs are still best buds/brothers even though they wind each other up all the while trying to find out why their last mission went FUBAR – makes them highly relatable. One of the characters had to deal with the realisation that someone they trusted is actually a snake in a grass; how many of us have been in that position? I know I have.

A thoroughly good read, and a great book 2 of this interesting series.

This is the 2nd book in the “Seal Ten Series”. This is an entertaining read that is chalked full of mystery, mayhem, secrets, corruption, murder, drama filled, action packed, suspenseful, great characters and the plot is oh so good. Hayley is an FBI cybersecurity specialist and Scotty is a super sexy alpha male and he is part of the Seal Team Ten. Hayley and Scotty meet when they are tracking down a lead for Nick’s wife Natalie that is missing and possible dead. Hayley’s boss Michelle is on the wrong side of the law and she wants Hayley to find proof that one of the Seal Ten has killed one of their own. Hayley learns of her boss Michelle’s deception. Scotty finds out that Hayley has major hacking skills. The two are spending more and more time together and are growing closer and closer. Hayley and Scotty find themselves on the run to keep alive.

Who killed Nick and why, where is Natalie is she dead or alive, does she know anything, why are the Seals being set up, what did Nick know that got him killed, can Scotty and Hayley keep each other safe and alive?

A wonderfully written military inspired romance. Great characters and especially enjoyed seeing a strong resilient lead female (Hayley) that could 'match' up to the male character Scotty, an active Seal member.
Noticing this is the second book the SEAL Team Ten series I was able to successfully navigate through the book without having read the first book in the series but have observed there is a continuing thread that obviously links the overall series together of the death of the Team leader in the SEAL group.
I found the plot was well constructed filled nicely with enough sexual tensions between Hayley and Scotty, a decent amount of mystery and intrigue as to the underlying conflict occuring for the SEALS and enough corruption, dirty dealing and conspiracy to keep ones interest held throughout. But love that one little thread that just floats around to know that I'm interested to see how the other members of the SEAL team get pulled into their romantic situation. Looking forward to the next instalment!.

The hits keep coming
Scotty (SEAL Team Ten Book 2) by Leslie North is another installment in this action-packed series. Scotty’s story, along with Hayley, adds more clues yet creates more questions! As the action continues within the suspenseful and mysterious plot, Scotty and Hayley work together to find some pieces of the puzzle.
I really like these characters together. Hayley is geeky but beautiful, especially in Scotty’s eyes. While their chemistry sizzles and pops, they are also under the gun (literally!). The quintessential one night stand guy, Scotty is thrown off center by his possessive and protective feelings for Hayley.
Overall, the one and done SEAL becomes steadfast as Hayley and Scotty embark on the adventures of a lifetime together; the promise of a HEA and finding the killer of this SEAL Team’s teammate and brother. I can’t wait for Spencer’s story and the tough lady that will likely turn his life upside down.

This new series, SEAL Team 10 by Leslie is getting better with each new book! Scotty is book 2 and is just as great as Gage and Anna! Scotty and the rest of the SEAL team are still chasing down leads to help them determine who actually killed their teammate Nick and they are getting closer to tracking down his widow. Hayley found herself doing some behind the scenes investigating into Natalie’s disappearance. Hayley and Scotty run into each other while they each are doing some afterhours searching in Natalie’s home and sparks begin to fly.

Can Hayley help the Team Guys find the truth before it destroys her career? Will Scotty find the type of love that Nick had with Natalie before he was killed and the same kind of love Gage and Anna have? You have to read and find out! Leslie did an incredible job with this second book and I am looking forward to reading about Spencer and what he is going to get himself into!!.

Seal Team 10 are still looking for Nick’s widow, Natalie, or NT Smalls, her pen name. Officially, the team was suspended while there was an inquiry. But they were all working on finding out who was behind the hit on Nick. The house his NSA source gave him, had been broken into. Scotty’s specialty was hand to hand combat and direct assault but he was good with a 9mm too. His weakness- women, especially redheads. That is what he finds, Hayley Stevens. She’s an FBI desk jockey looking into the case in the hopes of getting out of the desk work. They find a file with a cemetery plot paid in full and a clipping that said Natalie was dead two weeks.

However, when Hayley did some digging she found pictures of Natalie from CCTV. So she is now working with Scotty. Plot twists, intrigue, and not so much fun stuff happens. Scotty can cook. The more info I find out about Natalie the more worried I am for the guys. Hayley is so snarky, I love it! This book was awesome!.

Conspiracy pt. 2.
Awesome book. Scotty and his teammates are trying to find out why one of their own was killed and who’s responsible. He goes to search the widow’s house and encounters Haley. She gives him a story about being a niece, which he knows for a fact is a lie. Eventually they both come clean about their identities. Haley is with the Bureau also looking into his teammate’s death. The four team members and Haley agree to work together to clear the team’s names. There is so much happening in this book that it’s too much to mention. Let’s just say that they find the widow, there’s gunfire everywhere, two rogue Bureau agents and a hint of who is behind it all and he’s not happy with the changes being brought about by SEAL TEAM TEN. He starts putting another plan into play. You definitely need to read the first book GAGE because that’s where it all begins. Enjoy!.

The team is back looking for more answers to questions that are plaguing the team.

Where is Nick's widow? Who is responsible for his murder and why?

In comes, Hayley Stevens, an excellent hacker who also happened to keep everything close to the vest, is also searching for the widow. the question is why.

She has her suspicions and is not quite sure the SEAL team is above board, but as they join forces, feelings develop as does the danger with Scotty Devonshire. Neither is quite sure about the other but the attraction is sure enough for them to take notice and whoever is after them or better yet trying to keep them from finding the truth to take notice too.

I am not cool about cliffhangers nor am I great with serial cliffhangers, but this series is one I will continue to read cause it catches you form the first page of the first book an keeps your attention.

Scotty and the rest of Seal Team 10 are still laying low while trying to figure out who killed their brother on their last mission and framed them for it. Hayley works for the FBI cyber devision and is following leads on the fallen seals wife. Hayley runs into Scotty when they both are chasing the same lead and between their shared interest in finding out the truth of what happened and their instant connection/attraction to each other they join forces. The danger surrounding them is very real and coming from many angles. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat from one action packed page to the next. This is the second book in this series and like the first the main character gets his hea for now but the plot end with another cliff hanger setting up the next book and which seal gets his spotlight.

An action packed story that you won’t want to put down. Seal team 10 are still on the hunt for the person that killed their team mate. Scotty is looking for his deceased team mates wife Natalie, when he meets her niece, Hayley. Scotty soon discovers that Hayley is actually an FBI agent trying to crack the case as well, and soon they are working together to try and solve it. The sparks between them fly and despite their best intentions they give in to the chemistry. However, despite being the renowned playboy, it isn’t long before Scotty is falling for Hayley, and when her life is in danger, he knows she is it for him! An amazing book, I absolutely loved the characters, an amazing storyline that will have you hooked. With lots of action, drama, twists and turns, you won’t be disappointed! I really can’t wait for the next book to continue the hunt!.

Scotty Devonshire is a navy seal and loves women but now he needs to find out who killed his team mate Nick and where is his wife Natalie these are just a few of the questions he is trying to solve and he’s not sure who he can trust and then he meets Hayley Steven’s a smart and sexy woman that has him fascinated for the first time. Hayley Steven’s works for the FBI in the Cyber hacking and she is the best in her field and she is investigating the death of a navy seal Nick and his missing wife but she is not sure if Scotty and his teammates are innocent or not but when they turn up at the same address they realize they are looking for the same person but each has different goals and decide to work together to solve the case all the while falling in love. How does it all turn and who is involved and what does the wife have to do with it all.

Loved both Scotty and Hayley, they meet while they are separately trying to look for answers on the murder of Scotty’s SEAL team member but end up making an amazing team together. Great chemistry between them.
I enjoyed this, the plot is really good and well written. Great balance of romance and suspense. Very intriguing, kept me turning the page to see what happens next.
Second in the series but can be read as a standalone.
Back story is a continuation so would need to complete the series for that part of the story but it doesn’t take away anything from this book, however there is a cliffhanger leading into Spencer’s book which I will definitely be reading, the storyline has left me wanting to know how far the conspiracy goes.

Better and Better!

Seal Team 10 member, Scotty Devonshire, has never met a woman he couldn’t seduce, until he meets Haley Stevens. Of course the way he met her wasn’t how he usually meets girls!

Haley Stevens is a Cybersecurity Analyst for the FBI. When her boss asks her to find the widow of deceased Seal Team 10 leader, Nick Mathew’s, she decides a little footwork is needed. Trying to impress her boss for a promotion, she goes to investigate a house that the widow has rented. Thinking it’s empty she starts to search it for clues when she is surprised by Scotty. Not her greatest attempt at snooping!

These two go head to head until they finally agree to work together. But the more they investigate the more complicated things get. A great book from start to finish!.

This is the second part of the Seal Team we pick up where part 1 left off.
Scotty is known for being the playboy of their group of Seal friends and thinks that no woman can stand him and that he can seduce anyone, but then he didn't count on Haley. She is ordered by her boss at the FBI to find the wife of Scotty's deceased teammate. Because as an FBI cybersecurity analyst she can find out and that's how she meets him.
When after a while they find out that instead of working against each other and just trying to find clues, they find out that 2 can find more info by working together.. This book is highly recommended and it will keep your attention from start to finish. at the end and despite the danger there are also plenty of steamy and hot scenes that are highly recommended to read.

Second book in the series but a stand-alone read. Scotty is still helping his team try to find out what happened to their leader, Nick. During their efforts, they cross paths with Hayley who is with the FBI. She wants to move up and is working on the case from another angle in hopes of being able to advance in the FBI and keep her job. Scotty and Hayley are forever bucking each other and fighting for who gets to take the next step. But they also find that working together and sharing information can help both of them. The group and Hayley run into trouble from Hayley’s boss at the FBI and there are other people who keep showing up to make solving what happened with Nick and who killed him. A lot of new information for the underlying story but also a great story of Scotty and Hayley.

Scotty and Seal Team Ten are investigating why his team member was murdered and the team is framed for killing him. Scotty ends up going to Nick's house to find his wife Natalie who's disappeared and they feel she's dead. He finds Hayley there who finally admits she's with the FBI Cybersecurity Specialist, or a super hacker. The story has so much suspense, adventure, danger, action, mystery, twists/turns, passion and romance. I love the characters of Scotty and Hayley as he's finding himself being possessive and protective of Hayley. When Hayley gets kidnapped Scotty does everything to get her back. I was totally engrossed in the story and finished it in one setting. I highly recommend. Spencer's story is next, can't wait.
