Getting better and more interesting... But it feels like they're gearing up to get the boring self insert boy to be the hero all along - instead of all the girls who've been bleeding all the way through the investigation.
This volume gets more complicated, and better for it. Characters make mistakes, powers are evolved and used in interesting ways.

Wow - this is really getting way too fan service-y. I'd like to see the story develop, but all the fan service is making me not want to read any more of the series.

Yet another very personal review, so read at your own discretion.
This volume too helps me feel right at home in a place that’s newly lacking what makes it home. I think that A Certain Scientifc Railgun is really helping me cope with the loss of someone who was with me through my entire life, including my nostalgic experiences with these series/franchise as a kid. I’m ever grateful to it for the memories and feelings I’ll cherish, and how it manages to trigger them in a sensation type of way.
Well, a lot of this was “oh, yeah” like with certain things, since this wasn’t my first time with this series. It’s a whole lot of fun and I quite like the art and how characters interact. It’s truly enthralling and the fight scenes are amazing. It’s sort of weird that back then I was around Shirai’s age but now I’m around Kiyama Harumi’s age though. Wild how time moves like that, isn’t it? But anyways, I love the characters and everything, just everything about this manga (and the anime) tons. Thanks for all those times watching clips on YouTube with my kitty Spiffy sometimes with me but always somewhere in the house. Never far. It was stupendously fun in some of the most simplistic ways.
Also— my copy is a first print edition! Woohoo!

A Certain Scientific Railgun 2
At the beginning Misaka Miku and Shirai Kuroko found Kiyama and talked to her about it, but nothing happened.
At the beginning Shirai Kuroko had to go to those bad boys, and then one of them turned out to be a fantasy master, and he fought with Shirai Kuroko, but in the end Shirai Kuroko won.
In the middle Then Shirai Kuroko had to go to those bad boys, and then one of them turned out to be a fantasy master, and he fought with Shirai Kuroko, but in the end Shirai Kuroko won.
At the end The developer of the Fantasy Mitae was actually Haruyama, but Haruyama was also for her students, so Haruyama and Misaka got into a fight.

I decided to give this series a chance because I actually really enjoy A Certain Scientific Index (same story from a different perspective).
I wanted to like this because I like Index... But this is just awful. Most of it is fan service angles obviously drawn for fanboys.
I like it filling in some of the plot holes, so I'm going to give it a real honest chance, but so far this is just annoying.

It's been a while since I read volume 1, and so I took me a little to get back into the story (since this does not have a recap at the beginning) but it was good. I liked how the story progressed. I found the characters to be interesting and I liked the growth they showed, though slow (yet expected from a multi-volume manga).
I liked the graphics and felt the whole thing was well paced.

Excellent use of a gestalt/hive mind technique to boost abilities. Teleportation vs Light-bending Illusion fight was excellent.

Even after reading the second volume, I can't say I really care about this series. When I started this series, I found the plot to be only interesting at certain times in the story, I didn't care about any of the characters besides the protagonist (and hated when other characters appeared), and found the fanservice unnecessary. I figured that this would improve with the second volume. And I was wrong.
The plot got worse in this volume. I never really found myself interested, and couldn't really follow the plot of this volume. At least in the last volume, there were chapters that kept me interested enough to finish the book. While I did finish this volume, it took me longer than it should have. The characters did NOT improve in this volume, either. While I still found the protagonist interesting, she barely appeared in this volume. Instead, it focused on the characters who I found to be of no interest in the last volume, and the plot did nothing to make me like them more.
The only thing that changed slightly was the fanservice, which was lesser in this volume. What was there was no less unnecessary than what was in the first volume, however.
I will still read this series (I'll at least give it one more volume, since I'm checking it out from the library and aren't paying for it), but will be putting it off for awhile.

I really like how the plot in each volume centers around its own storyline while still putting the reader deeper into the world. Although, this one does end in a pretty big cliffhanger.
I love that the main characters are mostly all women. And these girls are strong! Even the villain is a woman in this one. However, I hate the skirt flipping and making them sexual objects. Why can't they just be strong women? Such is manga, I suppose. (And really, all female superheroes of Western society have to be sexualized as well.)
Definitely enjoyed it enough to continue the series,and I look forward to seeing where the characters will go next

After some quick unnecessary fanservice, the investigation into Upper continues. A fight between the teleporter and a thug with powers of his own commences. Also some emotional stuff about people being weak without power which isn't that interesting or original, before the origin of upper is revealed.

A little better, because the fan service is a little less creepy and a little more wtf, and the plot starts to get some explanation. Still, I only read this because of the dearth of any releases that held my interest.

It's still warming up plot wise but they repeat some things that are getting old fast: the skirt flipping and boob grabbing. Honestly pepper it and not put to much in. I honestly would like to see more of Kamijo Touma.

It is always interesting reading manga. This is a pretty good manga because it moves at a good pace. It hits all the major points that are important.

More interesting as the plot warms up, but I still don't care about the characters and I suspect it's from not reading Index. Probably going to drop this, at least for awhile.

I wanted to give this series a chance but I just can't read more. I skipped most of the pages and the only character I like was only once in this volume.

The Graphic novel“To Aru Kagaku no Choudenjibou”by Kazuma Kamachi, is about Misaka Miko（the heroine）find some people are making her clone and want some people kill them to become the best stronger . And they call the clone ‘sister’ . This crazy plan they call ‘sister Mass production plan ’ and in Misaka Miko’s school , she meet the ‘sister’ and she help 1000 ‘sisters’ to destroy this plan .
At the beginning of the story,is about Misaka Miko and her friends are investigation some things . In Misaka Miko’s school , some one say they see Misaka Miko’s sister in here . She is very scary , because when she was a little girl , She gave her genetic map to others . KamijioToma (malefactors) see ‘sister’ and mistaken she is Misaka Miko’s sister . But he find some different things.
In the middle of the story is Misaka Miko meet her sister . And She see a brutal massacre . ‘One side passes’ (his name . The top for level 5 )are killing her ‘sister’ she save her . But ‘sister’ say ‘ why you help me ? When I was born , I must die in here.’ And she walk away . Misaka Miko think she kill they . She think her can’t save‘sister’ . And this time KamijouToma（malefactors) , find the Misaka Miko and help the to destroy this plan.
At the end of the story is: KamijioToma help the Misaka Miko to save 1000 ‘sister’ , but ‘sister’ don’t understand, they think they just a machine . But KamijioToma say something and she feel heart warm . And she feel she is not only a machine . They destroy this plan and save ‘sister’
