Have you ever been ghosted?
This is a re-released reedited version of the Novella titled Ghosted.
My very first book by this offer and being a huge fan of them paranormal and supernatural genre I chose to start with this book by this author it was good different from what I've read before and very consuming from beginning to end I do wish that it didn't end so quickly but glad I finally got to take the time to read this book after wanting to for a long
I was not expecting that ending. I thought after everything Xavier would become a pastor and a woman would approach him before inflicting everything onto him that he did within his past life. The way that this story actually ends though? Ohhh it took me out, the story was great! 5 stars completely and I am ready to read another book by Black Lavish
This book was a different read for me. I really enjoyed it. I didn't see that storyline coming at all. Black Lavish you never disappoint and can't wait for what is next to come.
The blurb drew me in because it sounded like this would have a supernatural take with ghost etc... But that is NOT what this is about. It is about a grandfather and grandson running around killing a bunch of women.
I knew something crazy was about to go down when it came to Promise! And Xavier? Whew… having such a rough childhood definitely made him completely unhinged as an adult. Such a good, short read, and honestly, it was the exact vibe I needed right after Halloween and heading into Day of the Dead! 📖💀🔥
I gave this book 4.75 stars out of a perfect5 because I personally would've like two thongs to happen. Would've liked for it to be longer. Now, I understand it was meant to be a short, quick read but it was GOOD! Very intriguing and interesting. It is captivating and grabs a hold of your attention and doesn't let it go. So I could've and would've read more 😀 and the second thing I would've liked is if we really got a backstory on granddaddy and how he turned out the way he did to do the things that he did in the book. And now that I write this out I have a question: is granddad responsible for sending grandma to the "upper room"? Overall, good boom. This was a new to me author and I'm glad I read it bc the twist that were turned in this book were something else 😂 I liked it a lot.
Mental illness is real and needs to be addressed and not ignored. My heart went out to Xavier as his upbringing is not one any child should experience. Not a single child should have to adapt to an unhealthy environment. His karma was like no other IMO. Not only did karma make a visit, so did Promise. Let’s just say not only was his mind playing tricks on him but for a moment mine was too.
This was a good time and example of adapting to your environment & upbringing.
I have yet to be disappointed by any book that this author has written. I plan to immerse myself into her catalog.
Wow! X’s grandpa was crazy af and X turned out just like him. I see why X’s dad didn’t fool with his father. I was sadden about his grandma & I think I knew why she did what she did. It’s crazy how Karma will get you back. It may not be a direct hit to you, but to someone you love. That ending had me blown, Promise did a number on him! I would have gave this book 5 stars but there were a few grammatical errors. Overall, this was a really good read.
Whew Chile the grandfather and the grandson was the worst type of men to come across and it seems like the grandson learned from his grandfather after a victim lied on him through a letter that never got sent and the grandson got his karma from his family dieing whew!!
Loved how quick and paced this story was all together. Even tying in the fact that his karma did not miss and it often can hit others that we love dearly. There were a few mistakes in the book but overall I liked the plot and loved the feeling of creepiness it stirred up
Nothing can say how compelled I felt to read this paranormal short story!!! The way the writer wrote about how plagued the characters were and battling with what was real and reality was phenomenal! I’m glad how this played out!! Who would’ve known X got “ghosted” by his guilty conscious.😌
This was definitely a new type or read for me. X got his karma continuously even at the expense of his family. I don’t feel bad for him even with his upbringing. It does make me wonder about his grandfather and when he started “working late.” Great thriller! And I think justice was served in more than one way.
Karma is an understatement in terms of this book. The ghosts within this book were dead pressed on getting his attention. It starts off real heavy in terms of the unaliving. I can’t say to much without giving away the entirety of the book as it’s a short read but packed to the brim with dark and eerie deeds going on in Savannah.New to me author🖤 🔪☠️
Xavier grows up with his grandparents. His grandfather is a serial killer. When becoming an adult he turns to killing people too. Things change when he meets Promise. Who is this marvelous young woman and why is her mother acting so strange? What does being ghosted mean here? Interesting serial killer novella with a nice twist at the end. Fluently written, nice characters, really recommended!
Definitely a different storyline. The characters are very engaging. Xavier had me feeling like he was Candyman. It's really sad how he was forced to live becomes an obsession to him as well. One click for an awesome spooky read.
He just gonna let all his demons out because he too scared to face life. His grandpa took the sucker way out and at least he know what’s going to come next. This was a good book
This was an interesting story. Xavier's grandfather had some serious issues. I wasn't completely surprised that Xavier turned out the way he did because of how he was raised. Karma was indeed a...
Absolutely Loved This Book! It was way too short! I need more! Lol. Awesome read! The most handsome men always the ones that killing people! Perhaps I should get with someone who's not very attractive lol.
It's was different, I was thinking more of paranormal I guess I not sure but it was still awesome. Grandpa was a crazy bastard. And which in turn made the grandson crazy 🤪 what the hell. I loved it.
The man his granddad was an the man he became was sad enough then his children an wife omg to much it was a good story tho He really came to be ghosted for real an the mental InstitutionIt was way really needed to be
A good story that I enjoyed reading, Xavier was mentally abused by his grandfather, all his life it was difficult for him to build a relationship with his Grandfather but he learn from him, Murdering people…
