All in One! Best stories in one collection! A collection of stories that will make you laugh out loud. I loved every page of these stories! “…in the looks and outgoing personality department, on the scale from one to ten, he was a thousand, and she was... an optimistic three. On a good day.” I received an ARC of these books for review. I was not required to write a favorable review. All opinions in this review are my own.
I have read two of the three books in this boxed set and thoroughly enjoyed them. Each of the stories features fascinating characters who are struggling with insecurities, doubts and tumultuous emotions, and perhaps even a crisis of faith. Each book contains some mystery and suspense that helps to make it even more captivating. As the main characters work together to solve the mystery, they are forced to face their pasts, confront their fears and doubts, and reflect on their faith in God, in each other and in themselves. All of the books give readers a very satisfying conclusion.
No Fake Dating For A Cowboy Ronan and Jessie’s story is part tender love story and part suspenseful mystery. Jessie and Ronan are multi-faceted, intriguing characters that evoke empathy and a wish to see them find a wonderful happily ever after. Both are officers of the law and are dedicated to helping people. They are also fiercely loyal to their families, even though Jessie’s family is not connected through blood, but rather by shared experiences and choice. Jessie and her fellow foster sisters have made a family in which everyone offers each other unconditional support and love, and everyone has a distinct role. Jessie’s role is the protector. She will sacrifice just about anything to keep the others safe, even her own life. She never expected to meet a man who would stir her heart again and inspire both faith and trust. Both Ronan and Jessie open their hearts to each other as they work to solve a mystery. Will they reach toward love and each other as God intended or will they let doubt and insecurities keep them apart?
Show Me A Marriage Of Convenience Kade and Heather haven’t had good luck with relationships and each are dealing with insecurities that make it hard for them to believe that they are worthy of love. Kade’s childhood with his neglectful and manipulative father left scars on his soul. His player past and his divorce from a woman too much like his father have reinforced his beliefs that he is not suited to a long term relationship. The only good thing that resulted from his marriage is his adorable little boy, Landon. Heather is the sister of Kade’s ex, and even though she has long been attracted to Kade, she is under no illusions that he is attracted to her or even sees her as being anything other than his son’s babysitter. She proposes marriage to Kade in an effort to keep him from leaving town with her nephew. She is shocked when Kade agrees to it a few days later, after a little soul searching, asking God’s guidance and plenty of nudging from his family. Their marriage of convenience fosters a new awareness of each other, and reexamination of their own feelings, desires and hopes for the future. When they must face the reappearance of past troublemakers, they both allow their insecurities and doubts to overshadow the tender feelings growing in their hearts. Could their marriage of convenience really lead to a love match?
I look forward to reading the other three books in this boxed set. I have no doubt that are as interesting, intriguing and wonderful as any of the books that I have read that were written by Alexa. I received an ARC of this boxed set, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
No Fake Dating for a Cowboy: I enjoyed this romance tinged with some suspense. I’m excited for this series - I hope there is suspense in all of them! And of course, staying in Cowboy Crossing is awesome! I can’t wait for Paisley’s story.

If Alexa Verde was an artisan, she would be a weaver. She can take the merest threads of imagination and weave them into a glorious tapestry creating a story that you can't put down! This collection is some of her finest work combining unforgettable characters, believable plots with twists and turns, humor, romance and HEAs. And it's all done with a focus on living with God as a focus for daily living. Not preachy or hitting you over the head with a Bible but simply relying on God's grace and mercy to get you through the tough times.
An inspiring boxed set including stories from five Alexa Verde's series. The Cowboy Crossing Romances are an inspiring series - part romance, part mystery, descriptive details, imperfect recovering characters, page turning plot, relatable themes, and a satisfying resolution. As a Midwesterner, I enjoyed how Alexa Verde included the Missouri State Motto - The Show ME State. Delightful name of the town - Cowboy Crossing. Rio Azul Romances are emotional inspiring stories about faith, love, second chances and hope. Purchased and read each story when they were first published.

I'm an adoptive mom and the stories with adoption were not true to life. Wonder if the author has any history or study of this precious topic? It is too important for me not to bring it up.
