When she lost her job and her home, Audrey Bennett came to stay with a friend in Wisteria Hollow. She likes the village and starts to dream about what it would be like to live there permanently. Single dad and bookshop owner, Tom Cooper, is devoted to his son, Bowie, and his two rescue greyhounds. After years of working in London, he’s enjoying the slower pace of village life. When Audrey and Tom meet, there’s an instant attraction but neither of them is prepared for how quickly their feelings grow. Will they fight their feelings or will they fall in love one cold December night when they get snowed in on Sunflower Street?

A book set in a bookshop, my favourite setting! When Audrey meets her boss Tom in strange circumstances she attacks him! Feel good, uplifting with lovely characters, I particularly liked Joey and Chandler. A gentle romance running throughout this festive story kept me wondering will they or won’t they get together.
Loved this book so much & didn't want it to end but am pleased to hear there is a follow up about Audrey & Tom. Already pre ordered and can't wait for it's release. Another fabulous book from Rachel
Thoroughly enjoyed this story which centres around Tom and Audrey. We see the characters develop and what I like about Rachels/Darcie s books these are about ordinary people with everyday emotions and thoughts and are so identifiable. Loved the characters. A great Christmas heartwarming read and I look forward to the next book in this series. This book can be read as A standalone book, you don't need to have read the others in the series, but for pure enjoyment and heartwarming stories the others are well worth the read. A full 5/5 for me.
Such a lovely story about Tom and Audrey, Audrey didn’t have a very happy childhood being in foster care and Tom has issues after his wife had affairs and finally left him for someone else. There is definitely a spark between Tom and Audrey and they are being pushed together by Tom’s son Bowie and Audrey’s best friend Celeste.
A lovely seasonal romantic tale of Sunflower Street A family coming together with friends at Christmas. What’s not to like. Left me with a warm happy feeling.
I enjoyed reading this story of 2 people meeting and getting to know each other, even better when it's Christmas time. Hot chocolate, open fires and snow .
