Evangeline Anderson is famous for her Kindred Tales novels as well as the Kindred Universe she has created. Although she introduced the Kindred Tales idea some time ago, those taken from the Kindred-like beings of a destroyed universe, the Monstrum, have become very popular.
The Monstrum Warrior, T’zaren, and the heroine, Lucille Heartwood, are called to go on a mission together to a distant planet to seek out a mineral desperately needed by the Monstrum ship. Lucy, who has a Ph.D. in geology, is visiting a friend on this ship. When she first meets T’zaren, although he saved her life, she decides he is a stuffy, stogy old monstrum she has no desire to see again. He decides he is not attracted to her because she is too silly and not serious enough. But, as they are forced to spend time together and face all kinds of situations, they discover first impressions aren’t always correct.
I love reading the new Monstrum Kindred Tales. I feel as if I am at a banquet with all my favorite foods being served. I truly enjoy going back and reading them again just as I would love to refill my plate, only never to gain weight. Plus, with Finding His Goddess, Ms. Anderson gives her readers her trademark additions: Good vs Evil surrounded by Angst and Hot, Steamy scenes.

This was an improvement from the last Evangeline Anderson book I read, also purchased in paperback, Enticed by the Satyr, but I still think it could have been better.
We had an interesting quest and location/person they needed to meet, a two-faced woman. However, it was too predictable that in the fifteen years of the two-faced woman's "good" side being dominant, she was going to switch to her "bad" side when the hero and heroine came calling.
There was also a pegging scene, which I had read before in her Kindred books. (Just made a shelf for it because of this book.) In previous books, the third act conflict was caused by the male feeling emasculated by being taken anally, so I thought that would lead to the third act conflict here as well, but it didn't. So I guess that was less predictable.
Even though I guess I'm complaining about her books being similar, I still really enjoy her characters, world-building, and writing style, so I keep coming back for more. I even added the rest of the Kindred Tales I haven't read to my to-read list, so there's that.
But I think if someone's new to EA, they'll enjoy this more than I did.

Wow! Have you been reading all the books!? This is book 46!
Some major changes! All good! And some same ‘ol stale crap.
Start with the good? Ok!
1. New female narrator. Much better. I find it hilarious that she sounds like the narrators who do the children’s books. She has that warm, nurturing voice and then she is narrating pegging and anal! 😂
But I enjoy it much more than the last narrator. (Maybe I was just tired of her.)
2. Another improvement… no more sputtering, stammering, heroine .. “I.. I am?” “You, you… do?”
Eye roll! 🙄
3. This book of femdom was more “realistic”. It showed the gentler side and more sadistic side.
4. The heroine kicked ass! Literally. No tricks, potions, kindred… protecting her, she kicked ass.
Now the negative.. SOS (same old shit)
1. That freaking “Deus ex machina”! She is just doing it on purpose. There was no need to the goddess to whisper in her ear. She has eyeballs. What is the point of anything if a random goddess can step in at any time!?
2. ANOTHER world where the women and men must wear clothes with with their pretty parts out. And the female MUST be penetrated in front of her peers to prove something. And food does sex magic. Really!? Why!? Why can’t these couple every just get together because they want to? Why does the universe have to literally force them into sex?
3. And of course the ever popular, “we won’t communicate. Just waste time misunderstanding each other.”
Overall, I am happy with the changes! Love a femdom alien book!

The Monstrum Mothership is in trouble and only certain crystals , which are the heart of the ship, will save her. Lucy is a teacher from earth working on the Mothership. She specializes in geology and is just what Commander Rarev needs to help acquire these crystals.
Rarev recruits for the mission but she finds herself paired with a Stri’vor Monstrum for protection. Unfortunately
T’zaren is a grumpy Monstrum and although his mating stripe activates for this curvy human, he refuses to give in to his instincts.
The two must navigate the Byron system which is lead by a strange creature who has a good and bad personality. Presently she inhabits the good person but that can change at any time and of course it does. Their assignment leads to an adventure that puts them in some crazy and dangerous situations including requiring Lucy to be a master to T’zaren.
This was a fun, thrilling, exciting , “seggy” and h@t read that introduced new worlds and characters to get lost in. It was a page turning enemy to lovers among the stars story that was a great addition to the Kindred Tales.

When Lucy visits her friend on the Monstrum Mother ship she meets T’zaren they don't start off well both truly misinterpreting each others words and actions. When they are sent on a very important mission together they must put their complete trust in each other to successfully complete it. Much happens between them power dynamics shift multiple times and it fits them both like they were destined to be. As they meet each challenge they learn more about each other and realize that they are puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together! Can they keep their hearts and minds open to each other as their mission gets more dangerous or will they loose their sense of belonging? You'll have to read and find out. I really enjoyed this story 🌟🔥💖💖🔥🌟🌟🔥

When Chief Commander Rarev hears she is a geologist he asks her and T'zaren to go to the B'ron system to buy a dimriel crystal to replace the infected crystal that is the heart of the Monstrum Mother Ship. The only concern is the leader of this planet is a Twainer. A Twainer is a dual personality that is either good and kind, or evil and sadistic. Currently the Trainer is in her kind personality called Lady Twa'linda and has been for the past15 years. Their adventure and possible nightmare may be upon them. Will Lady Twa'linda deal with them or will the evil Mistress Shin'dara make her presence known? What an exciting and sexual story. Awesome.

Same Story line sorta
This is a Awesome story but read like a previous book with a few variables in place. I won't give it away. I'm not so much in to BDSM but if that's your thing have at it. Its true Monstrum at it sexiest as only Evangeline can do it. I especially like it did not take place on Yannie Six planet. Not my favorite planet thing if you understand my meaning. But this book was enjoyable. Read them, loan them, and gift them to your Hommies,........ Kindred Bride Tales.

If you are searching for a high brow romance read, then look elsewhere. If you're looking for a sweet hero put in a 'dangerous' situation with his heroine and many, many excuses to get their body parts close together, then come on in.
The heroine is your Evangeline Anderson standard. Plus sized, insecure about her place in the world, headstrong. The hero is an oversized (literally) alien man. Protective, loves going down on his mate.
This is a romance that doesn't take itself too seriously and a good read.

A new kind of Monstrum!
A human woman who is a geologist and a friend of another human who is mated to a Monstrum warrior. She visits their mother ship and meets a Monstrum warrior on the dark side of the ship when he rescues her. They end up being sent on a mission together to find a new heart stone for the mother ship. You will have to read the book to find out what all happens both on the mission to a different planet and when they return. Do they find the heart stone? Read and find out.

I loved thus story! Evangeline actually takes you there in to the world of the kindred. I love that she writes with so much diversity. So far with this book I have a different picture of my alien from the front cover of Evangeline alien and what my alien or warrior or Monstrum which been warrior or kindred and a animal seen to have such a different picture I have a alien or warrior with part blue and part orange not with blue and orange stripe and scales. I like the names and characters very much. I seam to more into the advance this time around too. I didn't like from chapter 39 I felt like I was in a game of thrones story with mistress being in charge who I didn't like straight away. I didn't like the way the mistress was in charge of her guard 's.,playing with branding iron . Get me out of the story I feel like saying. I like the characters very much and I felt very sorry for the characters now.

I truly appreciate any enjoy reading any kindred novel. The way the kindred warriors are always caring and protective over their female. I love the passion and the Steamy love scenes. The story plot kept me entertained and I really love this book.

good kindred tale
While this story line was a little different it was still enjoyable. The H/h were good but the male character- well I guess I couldn’t relate to. All in all I still liked the book. I will definitely read the next one.

Wow...kinky with split personalities
I did not expect this book. The whole story started off slow paced then picked up speed and jumped into some really wide adventures. Very creative and a pleasure to read.

Devoured.
I thought my year was cooked. But this is my first 5 ⭐️ read. And it was deserved. Not a resounding 5 but still a five.
This is IPB or the Clecania series with a more adult-sexy take. This is my first E Anderson/Kindred book and I promise you it’ll become my new easy-read-go-to-when-I’m-in-a-reading-slump book.
Did I have problems with Mistress/Lady whoever? Yeah… do I still hate the “miscommunication” trope? Also yes but granted taking the whole scenario and how quickly things moved it was understandable.

I really love the monstrum books. The books just keep getting better and better.
I read this in one sitting... sooo addictive! T'zaren and Lucy chemistry was off the charts. Really good story and as always great world building.

A wonderful book, great characters and amazing scenario I thoroughly enjoyed
Lucy cannot believe the size of the huge T’zaren that is standing before her and yet she is amazed and if his size was not enough, he has a chip on his shoulder the size of a mountain and she amazed at his attitude and his attitude that is anger on steroids.
The tiny human that is standing before his is no more than a fly he could easily swot and yet he is expected to guard her, they are supposed to go on a mission together and if this is to be done to his utmost but how can he know that this alien and human have a lot to put right.

The fact that he has to play act the part of her man servant is straining his patience,
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Lucy cannot believe the size of the huge T’zaren that is standing before her and yet she is amazed and if his size was not enough, he has a chip on his shoulder the size of a mountain and she amazed at his attitude and his attitude that is anger on steroids.
The tiny human that is standing before his is no more than a fly he could easily swot and yet he is expected to guard her, they are supposed to go on a mission together and if this is to be done to his utmost but how can he know that this alien and human have a lot to put right.

Finding His Goddess takes us on another journey with the Monstrum Kindred and onto their mothership and beyond. There is an important mission to undertake that is necessary to save the mothership, and only Lucy and T'zaren are able to do it, but there's a catch, or several. Lucy has to take a dominant role on the mission and T'zaren is a Stri'vor Monstrum...and they are a race where the males are submissive and the females are dominant. But T'zaren doesn't think Lucy can be the dominant he needs and desires.

I love this author's imagination, her crazy aliens especially the ones I love to hate.
T’zaren is a Monstrum Kindred, tall and blue and what's is his pants is a little different ;)
Lucy is a geology expert and needed to help obtail a mineral from another planet to keep the heart of the MotherShip beating. He doesn't want her along, she's too upbeat and he needs a stern woman. Little does he know how perfect she can be. You know if you've read Ms Anderson before there will be danger and action aplenty, their journey will never be smooth sailing.
Such fun characters and interesting scenery mixed in with an entertaining plot all make for one great story. I loved it and already cannot wait for the next one.

This is a wonderful kindred story. It’s well written with fated mates, a mission, some very steamy scenes and a happily ever after ending. The characters are amazing, there’s grumpy T’zaren and feisty and loving life Lucy. When they are paired to go on a mission things get very steamy between them. The storyline is entertaining and a page turner with brilliant world building and I loved reading every bit of it. I highly recommend reading this book, don’t hesitate and go buy it now.

Finding His Goddess is one of Ms. Anderson’s more erotic stories with a good portion of the story focussed on various kinky scenes. The story features another Monstrum Kindred from the Dark side of the Mother ship and he is definitely an alien. I liked Lucy’s character and T’zaren was a sympathetic if somewhat grumpy male. The antagonist was very interesting and met with a horrible fate which was both bad and good! This story was not a favourite of mine but I did enjoy it nonetheless.
