Justice for all
Great storyline but could have done with being fleshed out more as it seemed rushed in places. When a dead woman is found, everyone is aghast at who it is. What was she doing there? Who killed her? The answers don't all fall into place in this book and there are a few loose ends left. Just a few more pages could have made a vast difference. Also the characters have strayed a bit from their previous stance.

Love this author!
Wendy Meadows, caught my eyes a few weeks back. I have read one of her cosy mysteries everyday since. I love 'ALL' her writings, her characters, her clean cosy myteries! I hope Wendy continues to write, as much as I choose to read, her writings!!

Good
As I continue with this series, each subsequent installment seems less disjointed than the first one I read. I intend to read all 10 books in this cozy series. I like Wendy Meadows, so I’ll stick with her books for a bit.

Easy reading
Wendy Meadows is a great author for when you want to read a good book without a heavy commitment. Her characters are engaging, and although each book is a stand alone, they make you want to read the next book

This is the third installment of this series. Small town Vermont is definitely not quiet. There are a couple of murders. There is a hit man who is.hired to follow Nikki Bates. Her past is brought in to play. The end is fun.

I enjoyed this book. Third book in the series and Nikki and Hawk are still working together to solve the murders, caused my Nikki’s pass. Fast read and good story. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

This series has turned out to be enjoyable. The characters are all coming together as a small family. I plan on reading the series. This is the first series I've read from Wendy Meadows. Great read.

Great book
Great book. Great storyline. Great characters. My favorite character is Zach. I am starting to like Hawk’s father. Would definitely recommend series.

I LOVE this series! 😊 Each book is edge of your seat, can't turn the pages fast enough exciting. I don't know how Ms. Meadows packs so much into so few pages but I am SO GLAD SHE DOES!😁

June 3, 2017Nikki is learning that a few of the people in her new town don't like the way she handled her last case. They don't like change. In this book, a member of a close friend's family is murdered and Nikki and Hawk are on the case. This is a wonderful author and a terrific series!
