Not sure what kinds of adults think hooking up 12yo children via computer algorithm is a good basis for a school dance, but here you go.

Toni will do anything to fix the results, including lying, consulting astrology, and bribing St. Anthony (patron saint of lost causes).

The narrator and story gave me major Lizzie Maguire vibes, in a good way.

What a hidden gem! This book was so funny and cute. The author has a great voice for middle grade. Toni’s interior monologue was very humorous (though she took everything super seriously) and it was just a fun, cute read. Bonus points for her liking old movies too!
