Dangerous Obsessions is a rollercoaster of emotions. I cried so much reading this book and it wasn't only sad stuff ... some was just really "moving" stuff. Bella can make you feel the emotions of a moment like no other.
Ava and Nazzareno are characters you won't forget. Their road to happiness is fraught with many obstacles, not to mention their own personal family troubles and traumas they must each deal with. Their story will grab your heart and soul and not let go.
Bella fans especially, are in for a truly wonderous read. Ava and Nazzareno's story has all the love of Mac and Mari, with all the intensity of Scarlett and Brando (Nazz is a Fausti after all.); it has all the poetry of Marzio and Nonno and all the danger, conflict and drama a Fausti story brings.
Dangerous Obsessions perfectly and seamlessly blends the Vice City series and characters with the Fausti's story and characters. We get more of Lilo and Lucila, Sonny, Minnie and the rest of the Vice City gang and learn so much more about them. But even more exciting to Fausti fans, we get more of all our favorite Fausti characters (Scarlet, Brando, all the brothers, Luca and Maggie), and even some new ones. We also get to experience that night in Venice all over again; the night when the change of power (Luca/Lothario) took place, but from a totally different perspective this time. We get to travel from New York to Venice, Rome, Naples, Tuscany (Luca's mini-city) and more.
Best of all (for me anyway), we get a piece of Marzio again in Nazzareno. (Don't know about the rest of you Fausti fans, but Marzio was always one of my favorites.) Of all the cousins, Nazz not only looks most like his grandfather, but embodies him in spirit and heart. (You will love Nazzareno!)
This book took me to many places ... the physical and the emotional. If you love - Love ... the poetry of it, the intensity and purity of it, the emotions of it; and love to travel to beautiful places (even if only in books), you will LOVE Dangerous Obsessions. I certainly did. This is definitely on my re-read list. If I could give more stars, I would. So. 5+++++++++ stars.

Now I haven’t read all of this author’s books, but this one is my new favourite.
Ava aka Pepper Nash, is a journalist that investigates all the things that go bump in the night for the Vice City Times. Well she reports about the world’s crime families, and anything going on in underworld. Her true obsession is the Fausti family, who are considered royalty. She dreams of meeting them, but has never had the honour. That is until she is thrust into their world, while investigating.
Will survive with her heart intact?
The danger and suspense kept me on edge, but the chemistry between Nazzareno and Ava almost combusted my kindle. It was so bloody hot!

Mind you she certainly has more courage than I have in my left pinky and is more tenacious in her quest to discover more secrets.
I found myself going from emotion to emotion in a fairly quick space of time, this story is that good it literally rocks your emotional world. There is so much going on that I did have to carefully focus on everything so as to not miss every detail. I love how this story is written, the style is crafted brilliantly and certainly does as it’s supposed to do—hooks you in and holds your attention until the end. I think for a little longer actually as I had to sit back and think on everything before finishing my review, that’s how good it is! At times, the words flow like poetry with its aesthetic qualities.
Nazzareno Fausti brings a whole new dimension into the story for Ava when she awakens the lion within him. Their love grows and although the barriers are real they push on in their relationship. My heart went out to both of them but particularly Ava. She reflects on her life continually throughout the book trying to learn from her past. I like Nazzareno but his family dynamics are in a word—chaotic! I felt sorry for him as he’s caught between a rock and a hard place.
Another amazing story that I totally recommend to everyone.

Wow...Wow...Ava Girardi & Nazzareno Fausti...Loved
This story had me from beginning to end. I just love that we were able to experience the Fausti Family through the eyes of this young lady, Ava Girardi. I loved that Luca, Brando, Rocco, Dario and Romeo were all in this story. The story was so vivid and clear that I could imagine myself there in the amphitheatre with the Fausti Family. I loved the deep Love between Ava and Nazzareno. I am so happy to know that rules could be changed for love, that arranged marriages could be unarranged. This story made me just want another story about this Fausti Family. What made it exceptional for me is that they compared Nazzareno to his grandfather Marzio, a man that was both Beauty and Beast, and ruthless and romantic. I will not tell the story again in my review because I want to go read this book 📚📖 again and I encourage you to read this book 📖 which I highly recommend. I loved this quote from the story..."I thought 🤔 you'd stolen my heart, Nazzareno Fausti, "..."But all along, you had it, and it was tucked safely away in yours." I will close with this quote we think 🤔 this quote from Sigmund Freud said"We are never so defenseless against suffering as when we love.." How awesome it is to have read another amazing book about the Fausti Family... the Lions of Italy and the Royals of Italy... Wow 😳 what a story.

This is the second book in this series. This book is about Ave and Nazzareno. Ava is a reporter for Vice City Times and has an obsession with the Fausti family. Ava and Nazz meet in a kinda weird way. Ava is on a mission of sorts. They only make eye contact but that is all that is needed. Both of taken with each other. Nazzareno is already engaged as part of an arranged marriage. He knows it will be hard to be around Ava but his uncle has tasked him with her care. Ava can’t believe how close she is to the Fausti family right now. However, knowing about them and living how they live are two different things. Ava is being to understand things differently. The pair will have to decide how to go forward. Do they fight how they feel, do they split once he is married, does Ava become his mistress, or could there be another option? This book has tons of twists and turns. Nazzareno’s potential marriage isn’t the only complication the couple will have to face. I loved this book and couldn’t put it down once I started. It is a long read compared to most of the books I read. The characters are wonderful and powerful. Ava’s sister is the main character in the first book in this series. The characters from the first book also make appearances in this book as well. I was pulling for Nazzareno and Ava the whole book. I hope to read how things turned out for Nazz’s brother and his ex fiancé. I look forward to reading more books in this series. Wonderful job Bella.

Where do I begin? To be honest, I wasn't sure I was going to like Ava but I have to admit she's FIERCE and I love it! Bella di Corte takes you on a heck of ride from New York to Italy via Air Fausti and it's a wild ride. Nazzarino is a Fausti with a passion I wasn't expecting but don't underestimate the power of the lion within. All the fire, passion, danger and fun are wrapped in these pages. I love visiting with old friends from other ones of the Fausti family but Ava and Nazzarino are a force to be reckoned with all on their own. The characters in these pages will make you cry, laugh and get angry but that what a great book does, it brings your mind and heart into the story. I absolutely loved this book and I promise you will too!

Ok, so while I love Bella, this wasn’t my favorite. 1st, too much inner monologue. Honestly things didn’t pick up until the middle the. It lagged a bit, while the story was alright it wasn’t her best in my opinion. All that long drawn out story for something that was…..kinda predictable.
Anyhow, I’m glad I read it but it was a one timer for me and I am glad I got it for free. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me as far as reading her books in the future but dang B, ya fell short hun.

I anticipate books by this author and am excited when each one feels a bit better than the last. I have loved the Fausti family from day one and just like Ava might even be a bit obsessed. Ava and Nazzareno's story brings everything you would come to expect from a book about a Fausti. There is family troubles and expectations, obstacles and the emotional roller coaster we have all come to love. Their chemistry is apparent from the start and the love story is full and intense. This author has a way to pull me into her stories that I don't want them to end. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this book and series and look forward to more in the future. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book for my honest opinion.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it. There was drama and the Fausti. The MMC was someone you could fall for. The FMC was also ok and she had some backbone. This author hit it out of the park. Loved the narrators because they made you feel everything.

This book is so beautiful. Ava and Naz are amazing. I was so excited to step back into the Fausti world and learn about a new faction. Let me just start by saying all the Fausti men are phenomenal. I love and respect everything about them and what they are willing to do for those they love. There are so many layers and complexities to both Ava and Naz. They fought and bled for their love and absolutely deserve their happy ever after. Ava's healing journey was so heartbreaking and beautiful. Bella Di Corte is an incredible author. Every single one of her books consumes completely.

Perfecto!!
The title says it all. Whenever Bella Di Corte puts words to pages about the Fausti’s it is always perfecto! Bene perfecto!! Do yourself a huge favor and read some of her many awesome stories! You’ll be like the rest of us junkies! In love with her worlds, her characters and her beautiful way of writing about the love between man and woman.

OMG!!!
I’ve been waiting for this book forever!!!
It did not disappoint at all. There’s something about Bella that is quite magical to her books. She knows how make us feel close to words, love our heroine but fall in love with the men. I’ve been obsessed with the Fausti Family since book 1 just like Ava.
All I’ll said is this, I hope I get a story for Rocco because I need it. I need it now!!!!

I will never get tired of Bella's stories! I can't say it enough how much I like the way she writes and this story is no exception!

Dangerous Obsession by Bella Di Corte is book Two in the Vice City Series. This is the story of Nazzareno Fausti and Ava Gerardi, aka Pepper Nash. This is a interconnecting series so it does add to your enjoyment to have read the previous book. Ava is a journalist who has a fascination with the Fausti Family. This of course leads her to be in the site of Nazzareno. Love this author's writing. I highly recommend it. Love this book and series.

Ok I’ve read quite a few books from this author, this one for some reason I could not latch onto like I did the others. The book was good. I don’t know what was missing for me, I just didn’t connect like I usually do.

I’m convinced that there isn’t a better writer out there for mafia romance. Many have tried, few will compare and that’s just stating a fact. The Fausti family has been completely epic-and I simply can not wait for more. This author has created a world so dangerous yet so romantic it’s hard to put her book down.
Nazzereno and Ava’s journey is no different. We’ve met Ava before, in her sisters book, so we know a bit about her family and home life, but we’re unsure what really makes her tick. This story just completely blew my mind and I really honestly fell in love with both characters here. Nazzarena was just so completely romantic-and once he fell in love he was ready to lay everything on the line for Ava.
I couldn’t have loved this book any more-it was truly perfect!

I can’t say this enough, but Author Bella Di Corte is a magician, her tools are her words. She take takes readers from highs to lows, she can transport you from your couch to places like New Orleans, Venice, Rome; basically anywhere. You are beside each character, you feel their emotions, their stories, their lives through her words and you are with her characters as their stories are told.
Reading a book by Bella Di Corte is an experience everyone should have.
Dangerous Obsession, is just that a story of obsession, a story of a heart that had been closed down, and a story of love. We travel from America, to Paris to Rome and so many other romantic places while the story takes us from the now, to the past and even deeper.
Ava Girardi is obsessed when it comes to the Fausti Family! The unfortunate part is Ava has put herself into a cage so to speak. A cage where she can see the outside world passing her by. When her safe space is invaded and her trust violated, she gets a plan together and if nothing else she is going to meet someone from the Fausti Family. She’s also going to tell them there is someone stalking them.
Nazzareno Fausti is the oldest son of Lothario Fausti…..if you have read Di Corte you know who Lothario is and you know what is about to happen in Venice. Through all of what goes on in Venice, Nazzareno looks up into the eyes of Ava Girardi and their world is about to change!

She take takes readers from highs to lows, she can transport you from your couch to places like New Orleans, Venice, Rome; basically anywhere. Reading a book by Bella Di Corte is an experience everyone should have.
Dangerous Obsession, is just that a story of obsession, a story of a heart that had been closed down, and a story of love. We travel from America, to Paris to Rome and so many other romantic places while the story takes us from the now, to the past and even deeper.
Ava Girardi is obsessed when it comes to the Fausti Family! The unfortunate part is Ava has put herself into a cage so to speak. A cage where she can see the outside world passing her by. When her safe space is invaded and her trust violated, she gets a plan together and if nothing else she is going to meet someone from the Fausti Family. She’s also going to tell them there is someone stalking them.
Nazzareno Fausti is the oldest son of Lothario Fausti…..if you have read Di Corte you know who Lothario is and you know what is about to happen in Venice. Through all of what goes on in Venice, Nazzareno looks up into the eyes of Ava Girardi and their world is about to change!

Hi Y’all! Come in and grab a glass of Chianti and while I tell you about this book I just read.
The title is Dangerous Obsession by Bella di Corti. It is book 2 in the Vice City series. It really needs to be read in order. I’d even recommend reading the Fausti series though I haven’t and did enjoy the book but think I’d have understood the rules and internal workings better if I had. ( and oh do I Plan to)
The cover is interesting and goes well with the title. Then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because I love Mafia romances.
Who’s my favorite main character ? Nazzarenno (Where can I get my own) I loved Luca the family head even though he is quite intimidating.
There were just so many interesting characters from Ava’s family and friends to all of the Fausti’s and the wives.
The story has at least 2 prominent settings. New stork where Vice City her office that is practically a litt city and where she was staying and Italy. I loved how this fit in the story. I’ve always wanted to go to Italy. It seems exciting and beautiful

It’s a very complex story of love, drama, suspense and everything in between… even a modern day gladiator game for love.
So I’ll say this. The book is long so be prepared. Over 500 pages and my reading speed was 25 hours . I tried to figure if or how it could be shortened… maybe… There is lots of descriptions of settings and clothes and jewelry. Should it? No. None of it took away. The settings added and some instances of clothes were even necessary I felt. So press on… don’t skip you might miss an important twist because those hints are subtle and there.
I loved the ending. It was HEA and tied up most of the loose endings. I was hoping for a hint of a book three and who it might be about but maybe there will be a book yet.

I really didn't think it would be possible, but Bella Di Corte has yet again made me fall deeper in love with the Fausti family. How you ask? By taking a kingdom and making them even...more.
Ava is the sister to Lucila from the fist book. If you haven't read it, although I highly recommend you do, it's not necessary to follow along to this one. Ava is a writer/reporter for Vice City. Think of a newspaper that writes about crime in the city while giving the "criminals" coded messages. At least that's how I understood it, so that's my reality. Over the years, her passion to learn everything about the Fausti family has lead her to believe that the family ran a certain way, but reality is so much...more, especially after you experience meeting the one who will do everything in his power to make sure you know your worth.
Nazzareno is the first born son to Lothario, Luca's brother (if you haven't experienced the Fausti family yet, then this means nothing to you). Although he is Lothario's son, he doesn't exactly believe in his father's quest to be "king" of the Fausti empire, therefore already walking a thin line within the family dealings. Add in the fact that war is coming and his need to make a choice between one faction and another could cause another kind of war and you can only imagine how intense the situations are. But that's not it, let's add a woman into the folds. Yep, you guessed it, everything just became...more.
As in any of Bella's stories, there is lust, love, loyalty and of course death, but this one made me feel different...more. Yes, there's that word again. It's really hard to express emotions when they are felt so deeply and on so many levels and let's face it, I don't want to spoil anything.
So I'll just say this. Out of all of the stories Bella has written, this one is my favorite and will be...until her next masterpiece.

This was a fantastic read and we loved it from cover to cover. This is one of our favorites for 2023. The characters were amazing but, what made it one of our favorites is the different elements and traditions added to the story on how the men treasure their women even willing to give their lives to protect them and the love they have for one another. We found it very romantic even if it came with deadly consequences.
Loved Ava and Naz a couple their chemistry was explosive and they sizzled in and out of bed. Loved their sense of humor that you only see between them. Talk about a hot a fan worthy character Naz was just that. Who could resist that panty-melting smile of his?
This story took you on a bit of an adventure that took some twists and turns and even an emotional rollercoaster ride as well but, healing and clarity came from those depths of emotions. This story was really about finding one's soulmate and never letting them go. We loved that both Naz and Ava were fighting for their love even if it took them in different directions. As the pages were turning we started to wonder if Luca was playing matchmaker all along but, only time would tell.
Overall a read that kept you on edge the entire time always waiting for that other shoe to fall. The love this couple had for one another was awesome even infectious. We loved the side characters too they were amazing and awesome as well. Loved that these mafia men are all dark and dangerous but, we loved the fact that their faction did not see loving their woman as a weakness or a curse as they wore their hearts on their sleeves most of the time but, one to be celebrated. You'll love Ava and Naz as Ava is a bit of a spitfire and Naz is a man who can handle her flame.

As soon as possible, I will be devouring this author's backlist. This was the first time I've read a story where the FMC is the one that's obsessed, and I loved it. I love Ava and Nazzareno's story. It was more than I expected and a great story.
Nazzareno Fausti is the oldest son of the youngest Fausti brother, Lothario Fausti. Lothario has taken the lead of the family while Luca in is prison. This story tells of Lothario's betrayal to his father and oldest brother as well as Ava and Nazzareno's paths and how they crossed. Nazzareno is happy with his life of being a pilot, but the family has other plans for him. His life will take a complete turn after he lays eyes on Ava Gerardi, aka Pepper North.
Ava Gerardi is a woman possessed with the Fausti family. A reporter for Vice City Times, she is always looking for more about the Fausti family and ways that she can meet one member, if not the whole family. Her possessiveness, or obsession, whichever way you want to look at it, could be her downfall or the end of her life, but with other factors coming in, it could be the best thing to happen to her.
I loved the characters and the story. It was dark, deep, dangerous, and I loved that Luca was such a different person that had his own manipulations going on in the book. I can't wait for more is this series or from Bella Di Corte in general. I love her books and her characters.

Her life basically revolves around getting stories on them for Vice City, a newspaper that writes of the underworld and those in it. But Vice City for Ava is more than a work place. She’s made it her home.
And doesn’t live her life fully. It’s like she’s in a bubble looking from the inside and watching life go by.
Nazzareno is the son of the youngest Fausti brothers. His father seized control when his older brother went to prison. He doesn’t approve of what his father is doing. Knowing it will lead to a war.
But Nazzareno needs to be careful when it comes to his father. Because he knows his father is willing to do anything to keep control, even take him out.
When Ava and Naz’s eyes come in contact with each other. Their lives are about to be forever changed.
I absolutely loved them!
Their banter is funny and witty. I loved for their encounters.
The connection they shared is truly something special.
And don’t get me started on the sexual attraction. They are absolutely explosive together!
