Robert's Pen

Rate this book
While everyone around him is questioning who they are and what they want, Robert is just trying to figure out his new abilities before his sister comes back from visiting the aunts. He’s also walking a thin line between gleaning knowledge from his cousins and keeping them at bay.

In the meantime, he gains a new housemate, accepts a job offer, and encounters more made things. An ugly dresser teaches him the importance of honing his craft and a beautiful end table the importance of integrity, while a mood-altering spoon rest tests his relationship with his brother.

None of these things prepare him for what makes the world crash in on his head.

I found it hard to stop reading, always wondering where the plot was going next. I like that Robert had good morals and tried his best to always do right. We all need to feel guilty/bad when we do dishonest/wrong/hurtful things, and realize the need to ask forgiveness when possible. Also, I liked how Robert got others thinking about the stereotypes they had and try and look beyond them.
Will there be a Book 3?
