I was really wanting to read this book. I read the WEBTOON version of it first and was immediately intrigued. I have to say I’m very disappointed. The characters weren’t described at all and important characters at the end felt like they were more filler in the beginning (like they had no purpose until the plot twists revealed). Everything seemed to happen very fast which would be fine if it had been more descriptive. The plot twists in the book could’ve been so good (events that could’ve spanned multiple books and not just a couple of chapters) if they had been written better. I feel like they were very rushed and put in randomly 2/3 of the way. This book had so much potential and the spicy scenes were good. In all, it was very hard to get through. If the writing was better, it could’ve easily been one of my favourite books. Unfortunately, the way things were laid out made me give it a 3 star and that’s being generous.

I'd like to first say, thank you to the author for treating her Patreons and being so generous.
I'd also like to say that the author is a very kind, lovely person and I feel awful for having to admit that I didn't love the book. (I'm sorry ;.;)

So, the first half of the story was interesting and spicy - I liked it. The only thing I didn't like, is that instead of Serena trying to help Aero learn to respect ALL women, she decided to go down the pick me route and "I'm not like other women". Girl, come on. Don't do dat. Regardless of that, the general story was going along well and hot under the collar.

Things only really started to go down hill for me when unnecessary elements were introduced: such as Serena's multi-mixed race/origins. I felt no need for it, and would have far more enjoyed just a continued tension build-up/come down with Lord Hale and all Vamp. Once the new story came up with Serena, I just got tired having to try keep up with all her abilities and races. It just further pushed to her being a pick me girl that's not like the rest, etc, etc. -- Essentially, what I'm trying to say is I wish she was just a grounded woman from Earth.

I don't think I'll continue with the second book in this series, however, I will continue to support the webtoon (definitely check it out - the art work is lovely). I may try one of the author's other novels to see if I like it better, but for now I am unsure which novel I would potentially go for.

I really love this book
i have read this like 10 times already and now on webtoon for a comic version of this treat
its really different from most werewolf stories i have read about that typical cliche of big bad alpha and sit still pretty luna , which is very refreshing as there are very few writers now who give this type of refreshing contact , i just heard bout the name on paperback thingi and it will really be the best thing in my life yet if i got it
luv u and patiently waiting for the updates of sequel

Where to begin? I got hooked into this story all with the blurb and a couple chapters. It was a fun, sexy paranormal romance adventure that I throughly enjoyed. I’d love to read more about the main characters, Aero and Serena. I’m glad that it was available as a physical book on Amazon & have added it to my collection. I would recommend it to anybody into PNR and sexy times 😉 It’s also available on WEBTOON if you enjoy comics and graphic novels like I do. It’s all so fun!

This is an awesome book with some very spicy bits. It left me guessing what was going on till the end. I, absolutely, loved it.

It's written from both the male and female main characters' POVs.

The only downside is it was written by someone whose first language isn't English so some of the sentence structures were a little off but nothing too bad.

I. Loved. This. Book.
Romance - Aero & Serena, end game.
Spicy scenes - Oof, 100% happy with it!
I have been on a fantasy romance/smut (yes, I know, sue me) kick, and this book, (and the second one) in the series absolutely delivered. I’ve seen a few reviews discussing how they thought Serena’s character was ‘too much’ because of her complex were/fae lineage and her abilities. Well, yeah, duh of course she has all that going on, why else would SHE be mated with Aero?! He’s the frikkin Alpha King, would you rather him be with some random omega or rogue female? No, that’s not how it typically works. This story really had me hooked from the jump, I kind of appreciated the jump between the worlds, and the stories of the different characters. A lot of people feel that there is a lot to follow, but I appreciate a good storyline that needs to be followed with the ability to have a few twists and turns that can add some surprise. I thought this was a great casual read, with some really great spicy scenes, and more than one really solid romance. I’m here for it.

Can we get a book for Lord Hale, please!?

I bought the book because I love the Webtoon. And while the plot could be interesting, the writing needs a lot of work. I believe English is not the authors first language, and while I think this was great considering that, as an English reader, it’s hard to look past.
It doesn’t do a very good job of pulling you in with descriptions. The author just tells you and doesn’t show you. Lots of words are used repeatedly and some of the words used don’t really mesh.
I think my biggest issue is that Serena tries to get Aero to trust women because she’s not like other women? Doesn’t seem very feminist friendly as Serena always tries to set herself apart from women.
There wasn’t a lot of struggle for Serena. Everything came too easily for my liking.
Very disappointed in the book but will continue to read the Webtoon.

Fans of ero/supernatural, this book will be something that you can quenched your thirst for. Best is that it comes with a great storyline. Get you hooked up and you won't regret reading it. JMFelic has been a favourite of mine for a long time. Never failed to bring me into a new world in her books and filled the mundane daily life with a little spark from reading all the stories. This will be another great one.

I wanted to love this book. I fell in love with the story and character on WEBTOON. So naturally I wanted to read the book. It has some grammar and spelling errors that took me out of the story. Besides that, the story itself was okay. I liked the tension between the leads characters. The smutty parts were done well. It was just the right amount of smut. There were some parts of the story that could have been elaborated on more, but maybe that will come with book two.

I originally discovered this book from Webtoon and I was very intrigued with it and wanted to followed along. So, I ordered the paper copy off of Amazon and I read all of it in less then three days. I couldn't put the book down. Coming from a werewolf story reader. This is hands down the best story I've read!

Proofreading is Key

Overall ab excellent read. Be prepared if, like me, grammatical errors distract you. The story is good with a couple of nice little twists. Step up the editing and hire better proofreaders.

Right off the bat this book got my full attention. There were some grammatical errors throughout but it still kept my attention to the very end. I would recommend if looking for a romance novel with some action scenes (battle and otherwise 😉)

Like so many others I found this book because of the Webtoon comic. Loved it so of course I had to read the book. The story moved along at a good pace. The sex scenes were nice and steamy. I just was having a hard time getting grammatical errors. There are so many. Was the book ever edited?

The book was great! It was the perfect amount of fan service and plot mixed together. My only critique was the fight senes felt very clique. But overall I would defiantly recommend it and I can’t wait to get the next book in the series.

I loved the story until near the ending. It felt like Serena being fae and the connection with Aero in the past was too much. I started to lose interest. It became overly complicated/complex.

Dearest Unhinged Reader,
So, I fell down the webtoon rabbit hole with "Alpha King's Claim" and absolutely loved the visual storytelling. I have been a fan since the series first started. When my impatience got the better of me this weekend (as it often does), I couldn't resist snagging the book to find out what happens next. Sometimes our bookish impulse control is nonexistent, am I right?

Let's start with what worked: The characters still shine through in the novel version, and the setup had me hooked just like in the webtoon. The relationship dynamics and that happily-ever-after ending delivered the satisfaction I was craving. And if you're here for the spice? It delivers a solid 4/5 on the heat scale—enough to have you fanning yourself and possibly questioning your life choices. (All the NSFW scenes are available on her patreon)

Now for the not-so-great: The writing itself fell into some pretty clichéd territory that had me cringing at times. The dialogue occasionally veered into eye-roll territory that didn't quite work for me. The pacing seemed really rushed at the end, which left me wanting more development for certain plot points. As others have noted, this could have been a much longer series with the amount of really interesting tidbits Felic created.

Remember though, what doesn't work for me may absolutely work for you. This is just my personal take, and many readers might find these elements charming rather than distracting.
Despite these issues, I still enjoyed spending more time in this world and with these characters. Sometimes you can acknowledge the flaws in something while still finding value in the experience—like that ex we all know wasn't good for us but still think about fondly. (Or is that just me?) And yes, I'll definitely be reading the next book because these characters have their hooks in me.

I should mention that the author seems like an absolute sweetheart from her social media presence, which makes me want to support her work even when it's not perfectly aligned with my preferences. There's something to be said for good people creating the content we consume.
Would I recommend it? If you're a fan of the webtoon and need to know what happens NOW, go for it. If you're particular about prose and writing style, maybe manage your expectations or stick with the visual format.

Three stars for the book, four flames for the spice, and five hearts for the author's engagement with her fans.

This book was so poorly written, I can't even begin to emphasize how quickly I yeeted it across the room. 1% in. That's how far I got. The narrative style was weak and passive, often grammatically incorrect, and lacked any sort of engaging pull. The author sped through the introduction without giving the main character or her male lead enough description for the reader to know much about them.

I was disgusted and disappointed to find the male lead was so misogynistic and women-hating that he referred to breasts as "abominations" and mused about how he was a good king, but constantly thought about having any woman he saw beheaded, and underwear banned from his kingdom. It was gross, and made the male lead the least appealing love interest I think I've ever read.

Honestly, I can't recommend this book in the slightest. Do yourself a favor and avoid it unless you want to skim through it for the giggles because it just isn't worth the frustration.

Dude i literally hate to say that i love the story so much that i overlook the writing flaws. Like i literally love Aero and Serena so much. I was giggling throughout the whole book. There are obvious problems and the grammer isn't always the best but i can mostly give it a pass considering English is not the author's first language. I had so much fun reading this book that in my mind, for the most part, it makes up for everything else. I found the characters and plot to be very enjoyable and i love love love the webtoon version as well. There were parts that the story felt a little bit rushed, one part i didn't necessarily like was Rhea and Serena's friendship. It felt like the became super close the instant they met, i wouldn't have complained if their friendship was more drawn out (same with Rhea and Elijah/Cedric). But as i said i enjoyed everything else so much that i choose to overlook that

It started of pretty strong and interesting with a unique set up with Aero having issues with women. However I feel like around a little over half of the book, things started to go down and FAST. I think it happened when Aero decided to cave in and she fell in love somewhat spontaneously. After that, things started to get boring and dragged out. Specially once the big reveal of Serena being half and half and not human. I feel like it was an unnecessary part that didn’t add anything to it when things related to the fae only came up much later into the story.

This is a duoligy in one book I finished the first book but not invested enough to finish the second book on JoyRead or Bravonovel by unlocking chapters by reading articles and watching ads. I started this on Webtoons but it cut out all the spice and a lot of the story was lost. The JoyRead and Bravonovel version are full of typos like mixing up on and in and other mistakes that made me feel like I was reading a bad AI written story. Overall I enjoyed the first part of Aero's and Serena's story but will probably not continue.

I first found this story on I believe webtoon and enjoyed reading it. I was getting to impatient with the waiting for the next chapters to come out and just happened to see there was a book. Happy I decided to purchase it. A little bit was predictable, but then there were something’s that happened that wasn’t expected. It was a great comfort read and added to my shelf of reread able books. Just ordered the second book a few days ago and trying to patiently wait for it to get here.

I don't think I should even be rating this book since I DNF'ed it. I'm sorry I couldn't force myself to read after 5 chapters, it was that shitty. I already have a lot to say and rant about the characters but I guess 5 chapters aren't good enough for total evaluation of the whole novel. So, I won't say anything. Maybe I'll read this book in the future (just for the sake of gathering points to talk shit about) and then I'll express my views properly.

The book itself was good. I loved the storyline and I'm very much into the fantasy aspect of it. She threw in some nice erotica also. There were some parts that were a little weird. My biggest issue with it was the way the author over explained some parts or added to much to a line. Also, some of her sentences just didn't make sense. But overall, I did enjoy the book. I do want to read The Alpha King's Claim: Promise to finish this story.

I loved this book, it was a lot of fun. Enjoyed the spice and loved the fact that the spice wasn’t the only factor holding this story together, like some paranormal spicy reads are susceptible to fall to.

I had to put the book down for a moment during the Lycan BJ 🫣 but other than that it was a good read

A great story with enough twists and turns to keep the reader from putting it down.
Fans of the paranormal world will get a kick out of the universe created by the author. It keeps the dream alive about there being more to the world than we know and see.
