Her Sweet Seduction #3

Her Filthy Enemy

Rate this book
What do you do when snowed in alone with an arrogant flirt?

For starters, don't walk in on him in the shower.
Too late.
I can't look away, and Noah loves the attention.
But it doesn't mean anything…
He's the guy who never goes home alone, and I'm the shy book nerd whose idea of a good time is staying late at the library and binging on red licorice.
Noah thinks I'm so forgettable that he can't remember my name, even though we share the same group of friends. So when the roads clear and our mutual friends finally turn up, including Eric, the sweet guy from my biology class, I'm determined to forget about water dripping off muscles and fists wrapped around...
But now Noah's acting differently. Sitting close to me, touching me, calling me by my actual name…
It's almost like he's jealous, but that's ridiculous.
Except, I swear the bathroom door was unlocked before I walked in.
Noah didn't leave it open on purpose...or did he?

This entire series is comprised of short and sweet stories filled with spice. These are my favorite books to pick up when I need a quick palette cleanser that doesn't require too many of my brain cells. Please note when going into this book: This is not a full novel and the plot is minimal. However, its still a great read. This would be a perfect book to add to your TBR if you are trying to hit that goal by the end of the year and are a few short.

I listened to the audio, and Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton do an excellent job with their duet narration. Both voice actors are incredibly talented and bring Sophia and Noah to life. Now for the plot, let me set the scene for you: two friends of friends are in a forced proximity situation when they are snowed in alone. The chemistry and tension between these two are obvious and no matter how much they try to deny it, sparks fly.

Overall, I loved it and am excited for the rest of the series to come out on audio.

What a delightful read! Just what I needed after my last book. A steamy college romance with forced proximity sprinkled with a little bit of angst and jealousy. It’s not that filthy though so don’t let the title mislead you.

More than Voyeurs

This is one heck of an adventure. Noah is easy to love to hate before it flips to hate to love. He's arrogant and lickable. 😂❤️‍🔥 His childish taunting is annoying, so I like when he finally gives up the antics.

I thought there might be something more than friendship between us, until I walked in on him and my roommate a week later.
-- Sophie

Despite his annoying habits and gigantic faux pas, I mostly like how he goes about winning Sophie over. There are some definite missteps, but it makes for an interesting journey.

I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood, are terrific in duet. As this is single POV, I really love that we get two narrators. 🎧💜🎧

She walked in on him in the shower. He never meant for her to leave.

Sophie’s winter break was supposed to be quiet, maybe even boring. Instead, she ends up snowed in at a mountain cabin with Noah, the flirty, arrogant guy she’s hated since he broke her trust. He’s cocky, unforgettable, and suddenly too close for comfort. Now he’s calling her by name, watching her like he sees everything, and maybe leaving the door open on purpose.

What starts as tension turns into a dangerous kind of curiosity. She tries to fight it, but as the lines blur, the dares get bolder, and the teasing turns personal. He pushes. She pushes back. But nothing prepares them for what comes next when lust, jealousy, and something deeper finally release.

Back on campus, things should cool down. Instead, he’s still watching her from the stacks, still reaching for her when no one’s looking. When he finally speaks the truth he’s held back for too long, Sophie has to face the one thing scarier than desire: being wanted for real.

Sophie starts guarded and sarcastic, still clinging to old hurt. Noah masks everything with flirtation and control. Their defenses crack. She learns to trust what she feels. He learns to show what he wants. They shift from antagonistic to intense, raw, and unexpectedly tender.

A high-heat, snowed in, forced proximity, enemies to lovers college romance, exploring voyeurism, exhibitionism, jealousy, sexual tension, possessiveness, and emotional vulnerability. It’s about two people who thought they hated each other getting trapped long enough to stop pretending, and learning to trust what’s real.

Audio: Narrators Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood are perfectly matched to bring Noah and Sophie’s heat to life. Hamilton captures Noah’s cocky charm and jealousy, while Peachwood brings Sophie’s sarcasm and vulnerability. The tension is sharp, the emotion hits hard.

The Elevator Pitch: When she's snowed in with the last guy she wants to be alone with, tension turns into a game neither of them is ready to lose. The audiobook brings every glance, dare, and whispered name to life with duet narration that’s pure chemistry. It hits every note of enemies to lovers with bite, burn, and heart.

Sophie (h) is not thrilled to find she’s alone with Noah (H) at his vacation home. He’d seemed like the perfect guy until she caught him with her roommate and now he just seems bent on tormenting her, though his latest taunts are of the hot and sexy kind. Sophie tries to fight the growing attraction to Noah in this very high heat enemies to lovers quickie. Loved the shower scene, but I have to say as a librarian please don’t do what Sophie and Noah did in the library.

✨ALC provided by NetGalley for an honest review✨

Her Filthy Enemy is a short story that is sweet and extra spicy 🌶️ It’s about a couple’s best friends that met and thought they hit it off, just to part ways at the end of the night without exploring it further. Stuff happens and Noah ends up being Sophia’s new enemy. But six months later they end up snowed in at Noah’s house and their attraction and true feelings come to a boiling point 👀

The audiobook was done so well and the duet narration between Teddy Hamilton and Savanah Peachwood was sweet and steamy! I recommend this if you want a quick spicy listen 🖤

I suppose this #3 had the best storyline in the series yet, the best banter that only antagonists can have and the best steamy steam 🥵- even without a 3rd partner involved. Voyeurism was also 🔝

A copy of the audiobook of Her Filthy Enemy was kindly provided to me by the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I would like to express my thanks to have received this ARC.
Her Filthy Enemy is an audiobook narration of a novella, featuring a female main character and a male love interest who connected over mutual friends and despite an initial connection, turned into bickering frenemies. The setup of the novella is as classic as they come: a holiday retreat both main characters are on, their friends to arrive at a later point due to weatherly intervention and a sudden forced proximity trope.
I usually enjoy these kinds of settings, as it allows the reader/listener to fully concentrate on the relationship development between the two characters, without the need for considering outside factors (or plot, if we’re being honest). In this case, it unfortunately turned out to be a little bit tedious, because while the male love interest was funny and captivating, the female main character was so insecure and oblivious to anything affection related, that it did take a turn to be rather tedious to listen to the same inner monologue again and again.
This novella does include open door scenes of intimacy, however the listener is eased into them and they develop over the course of the story.
If this were a longer book, I would probably have stopped listening due to the repetitiveness of inner monologues and issues brought up, but as it was a short listen (~2 hours of listening time), it was entertaining enough to have me finish it. Teddy Hamilton as narrator is a great choice and if you are in for a short romantic, spicy novella, this is a good pick.

Okay, so let’s talk about this little firecracker of an audiobook. Her Filthy Enemy is short, fast-paced, and unapologetically tropey which, let’s be real, is exactly why I pressed play.

We’ve got:
- ❄️ Snowed-in setup — the classic forced proximity that guarantees sparks.
- 📚 Bookworm heroine — shy, pent-up, and secretly intrigued.
- 😏 Cocky bully hero — the guy who always gets her name wrong just to watch her squirm. He’s a ladies’ man, a flirt, and an absolute menace… until he’s not.

The dynamic here is pure enemies-to-lovers catnip. He thrives on pushing her buttons, she insists she can’t stand him, and yet the tension is so thick you could microwave it. And when the spice finally lands? Oh, it lands. This isn’t a slow burn..... it’s a quick, hot detour that knows exactly what it’s doing.

🎧 Audiobook notes: Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton nail the duet narration. Their banter feels alive, their chemistry sells the tension, and honestly, they elevate the material. At just over two hours, it’s the perfect “palette cleanser” listen something you can devour in one sitting when you want spice without the commitment of a 12-hour saga.

This isn’t reinventing the enemies-to-lovers wheel, but it doesn’t need to. It’s fun, it’s messy, it’s trope-heavy, and it delivers exactly what it promises: a short, spicy ride with plenty of sass. If you’re into quick hits of romance drama, this one’s worth the listen.

received this audiobook for free in exchange for an honest review from Netgalley! thanks 😊

I absolutely love Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton's narration, so I naturally had to indulge in this novella.

The story delivered on fantastic close proximity with the slight touch of angst and jealousy, it definitely added a nice bit of drama, even for a short novella.

I had a personal reason for needing to listen….the FMC's name is Sophie! Seeing my name in a book for the first time was intriguing, and this novella genuinely had me excited. The story wasn't quite as filthy as I initially thought (pun intended!), but it was still a very satisfying and enjoyable read.

And the extra Noah chapter was a lovely bonus!

This was pretty good for being such a short novella. Perfect palate cleanser or if you’re just in the mood for something steamy and straight to the point… or you know, when you’re ovulating. 😂

The storyline was decent. I spent the majority of it thinking Sophie was kind of an idiot though. She comes off pretty spineless the majority of the book but then the epilogue hits where we get Noah’s POV and all is well in the fictional world of, Her Filthy Enemy once more. I felt like the end wrapped up the story nicely and was able to renew my faith in their future monogamy.

I received an ALC from the Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op to rate and review and I can honestly say, it was a good time. I was able to listen to this in a little over 2 hours while doing chores around the house. The duet narration with Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton (🙌🏼👏🏼🫠) was perfection. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick spicy little audio. I’ve gotta hand it to Adele Knight, girl knows how to write her spice. 🥵

Gosh I am loving this novella series!!

In this novella, we get a sexy enemies to lovers with forced proximity as these two are snowed in a cabin for a day. Sophie has always thought Noah was hot but he’s a flirt and she’s not into it…until… she agrees to a trip (not knowing he was doing to be there), and they happen to be the only two who made it in on a snowy night. And then Sophie happens to walk in on him showering & self caring OW OWWW. WHEW theyre hot

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ALC!!

A huge thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ALC in exchange for an honest review.

Her Filthy Enemy is a quick, spicy novella with all the classic ingredients of a holiday forced-proximity romance. Sophia and Noah start out as friends-of-friends who have an immediate spark… that unfortunately crashes into full-blown frenemies territory after one disastrous night. Six months later, the universe (and a snowstorm) traps them together at Noah’s house, and all that buried tension comes to a boiling point. 👀

The setup is fun and cozy, and the pacing is easy to sink into for a short listen. I really enjoyed Noah as a character—he’s charming, funny, and brings a lot of the warmth to the story. Sophia, on the other hand, was harder to connect with at times. Her inner monologues felt a little repetitive and her insecurities tended to overshadow the chemistry, which made certain parts drag more than expected.

The spice is definitely there, though, and the audiobook narration was a standout. Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood deliver great chemistry and elevate the story with a smooth, engaging performance.

Overall, Her Filthy Enemy is a fast, spicy pick that’s perfect if you want something low-commitment, snowy, and full of tension-to-lovers energy. Not perfect, but entertaining enough that I’m glad I listened.

🌶️🌶️.5

Her Filthy Enemy is the 3rd book in the Her Sweet Seduction series. You can definitely read this as a standalone, as this is quick and spicy novella.

Sophie plans on relaxing with friends during her winter break, but she did not count on getting snowed in with her enemy. The term enemy may be overstating her feelings towards Noah. She put him in that category after she caught him with her roommate when she thought they had a connection.

Things heat up quickly when she walks in on Noah getting himself off in the shower. They start to explore their attraction until their friends finally make it to the cabin. Sophie and Noah both get jealous and when other people enter the picture, but it finally forces them to acknowledge their connection.

This had some good humor and spicy scenes. The best part was watching Noah admit his obsession with Sophie.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW

🎤Duet narration by Teddy Hamilton & Savannah Peachwood

This was a quick audiobook that flew through in one sitting. Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job portraying the flirty and sexy side of Noah. Savannah showed Sophie's vulnerable feelings, along with her deep attraction to Noah.

3.25 stars⭐️

This might be the most trope-heavy of the three, but also one of the most entertaining if you go in with the right expectations.

Sophie is a shy book nerd. Noah is a shameless flirt and notorious womaniser. They are supposedly enemies, although that label does a lot of heavy lifting. Throw in a snowed-in scenario, a shared house full of friends, and one extremely well-timed shower interruption, and you know exactly where this is heading.

The tension here is built on contrast: Sophie’s quiet, repressed inner world versus Noah’s loud, confident exterior. She spends a lot of time imagining rather unholy things involving him, while he plays the role of the unserious flirt who couldn’t possibly be interested in her. Except, of course, he is.

This is fun, flirty, and unapologetically smutty, helped immensely by the audiobook narration. Teddy Hamilton doing what he does best makes the whole thing far more engaging than it might be on the page.

That said, this is not a book to analyse. The character development is minimal, the emotional arc is light, and the plot exists almost entirely to justify the sex. Which is fine. That’s the assignment.

🎧AUDIO ALC REVIEW🎧

A long long time ago, Carina Press (a digital only imprint of Harlequin) came out with a multi-author series they called Dirty Bits. That name has stuck with me for all these years and it is what I call any “quick & dirty” story that’s just the right length to get you all hot and bothered! I devour these types of stories because more often than not, they’re a good way for me to get out of any reading slump and because I just really enjoy them. Her Filthy Enemy by Adele Knight had this same vibe and I was hocked from the get! So hooked in fact that I devoured the previous stories using my Everand subscription! #winning

There’s a fine line between hate and not-hate (lol) and Noah and Sophie walked that line until they burned the line down *fans self*! Their little journey was a quick, sexually driven, awakening of sorts and it was delicious all around. There’s not much detail to go into as far is plot is concerned because, well, it’s short so go read/listen to it! LOL

🎙️DUET narration is almost always my favorite way to listen to an audiobook and 🎤Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood🎤 did an outstanding job as Noah and Sophie and reeeeeeeally got me deliciously hot and bothered! It was a really 🔥good🔥 2.5 hours! ;)

Sidenote: You might be asking yourself why my rating is 4 stars and not 5 since I really loved it, or maybe you aren’t *shrug*, and I’m gonna tell you … There’s nothing that feels more “forced and formulaic” to me than throwing in an ILY in a story such as this one. It’s out of place. These stories are not fully developed relationships. They’re more like the beginning but with an “understanding” that they will live HEA. I understood the assignment. I didn’t need it spelled out for me. *sigh*

Nothing like reading a snowed in romance while snowed in. A fun cozy read to have next to a heater and nice fairy lights. Seriously, it's a shorter read, fun characters, spicy right from the start,  and I’ve read this author before and well enough to want to read more in this series.

When I say fun characters I am entirely looking at Noah. He checks a lot of the boxes when it comes to being entertained by a male lead enough to want to keep reading. He is arrogant, silly, and has a lot more layers than the initial taste. Also glad that this story stayed in the perspective of Sophie (outside of the exclusive bonus chapters) because I liked the idea of not knowing the full story until she did.

This helped me work my way out of my reading slump for sure!

Now I HAVE to point out these lines because they really made me go “huh, child….. Anyways.” I just… I couldn’t take them seriously, I cringed, I verbally said no, just….. No.

He's the guy who never goes home alone, and I'm the shy book nerd whose idea of a good time is staying late at the library and binging on red licorice.

Can Sophie survive being snowed in with the last guy she wants to be alone with? Noah, the cocky, flirtatious guy who has always gotten under her skin, is suddenly too close for comfort. Sparks fly, dares escalate, and jealousy mixes with undeniable desire in this short, high-heat enemies to lovers novella.
The audiobook narration by Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton is clear and enjoyable, bringing Sophie and Noah’s personalities to life and making it easy to follow their story.
This is a short, smut-heavy listen with lots of tension and chemistry. Perfect for fans of snowy forced proximity romances who want a quick, steamy story.

Tropes:
- Enemies to Lovers
- Forced Proximity
- Snowed-in Romance
- Possessive Male Lead
- Exhibitionism / Voyeurism

I went into this one blind after receiving an ALC, and I’m so glad I did! Her Filthy Enemy might be a quick erotic novella, but it still manages to sneak in a touch of plot and a few sweet examples of friendship.

It might appear to start as enemies-to-lovers, but it quickly shifts into something else — still full of tension, but built on understanding rather than rivalry.

The pacing was fast, the heat was off the charts, and voyeurism was highlighted beautifully throughout, adding an edge to the story without feeling forced.

Teddy was amazing as always, and I loved the bonus POV scene at the end ;)

A quick, filthy, and fun read with a touch of heart — exactly what I was in the mood for!

This was an easy 3.5 stars.

While this book is labeled as an erotica novella, it honestly didn’t feel all that heavy on the erotica to me. It came across more like a steamy slow burn with some fun enemies-to-lovers tension. Quick, easy, and entertaining.

The narrators are the real MVPs here. Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton are so good—they bring a ton of personality and make the whole thing way more engaging. Their chemistry definitely boosted the story.

Overall, a fun little listen with great narration and lighter steam than I expected.

Thanks to Victory Editing and NetGalley for the ARC.
