CN. Abatoir, Death of Animals (Pigs), Body Horror

This is actually horrific, but I really enjoyed this!

This is one of those fun and genuinely disconcerting creepypasta kind of horror stories (complimentary), as well as being a Warhammer 40K story that is barely a 40K story, but it absolutely works.

I've had real mixed feelings about some of the Warhammer Horrod/ Crime Imprint, but this was short, bittersweet, and wonderfully nightmarish.

I listened to SilseiaAndr narration on YouTube (https://youtu.be/U_QzKG09BVc?si=bUDed...), which is phenomenal. They only have a few recordings posted so far, but definitely seem one to watch based on the quality of this for an amateur recording.

Gory short story. Imagery was written wonderfully. Might have to read some more of these in the future (even though I said I wouldn’t continue the Warhammer books)

Shoutout to Ricardo for recommending me this one!

Enjoyable short horror story even without knowledge about Warhammer 40k. Liked the depiction of Nurgle and his mermaid-songish garden.

I bought this on kindle thinking it was an actual book, not a short story. For what it’s worth it was a really good short story, just thought I was going to be spending more time reading 😂
