A smoking hot new release about found family, empire, and obsession.
Winter Harris
Being offered a job at the exclusive, luxurious Chateau Balthasar in Aspen is a dream come true. Not only is it a promotion, but I’m romantically involved with the three stunning men who own it. Men who are corrupting, ensnaring, and demanding. But it’s not just their beds that I’m tangled up in, but fraught family dynamics too. Ones they’re certain I can resolve. I’m not about to get distracted by family politics though. My career comes first, this new opportunity key to rebuilding my lost reputation. Except Luca is too attentive, Reuben too irresistible, and Brecken is my warrior king who fights every battle from my past. I am nothing without them. But together? Together we could be everything.
The Three Kings Duet is 140K + words in total with multiple POV’s. Characters are 28-34 years old. Readers must start with Wrapped in Winter first.

After finishing the first book I had to dive into this one immediately and I loved the second book way more than the first! This was a fantastic conclusion to the Three Kings duet. It was dark, delicious, hot, and spicy! I loved the character development and the relationship between Winter and her men Luca, Rueben and Brecken. This was a well-written, compelling duet, with well developed, interesting, relatable characters. I could not put this why choose down!
I gave it a 4 stars purely becaise of the end. They know she has a s3x tape released and it destroyed her. Even playingly it was wrong to say. I seriously would not have forgiven that and given them nothing that day and make me forgive them. It's a horrible thing to say or threaten with. Morely gray or not. Not fighting fare or not. They could of just picked her up and brought her to the bed and tied her up. I'm sorry if you think I said is wrong but how can you say you love someone and throw that out there knowing she had been hurt by it before. She is obviously a s3x fiend it wouldn't of taken much persuasion for her. Othe that that it was a really good duet. I think the only one that didn't frustrate me was Luca. ROO did with his bio dad. Why he was so upset is beyond me. It didn't know Roo existed or else he would of been there all his animosity should of been at his mother. And Brecken was to possessive in a way that even tho he does and did he would of rather had her to himself. I honestly thought Luca should of married her since he is the oldest made sence with Breken because hebwas with her the most but with her working with Luca all the time they would of been together all the time too. So marry Brecken didn't make alot of sense. They all loved her and no im not saying he didn't deserve it at all. He did too but the oldest usually gets the official marriage but I do understand what hebsaid about Breaken needing it. Or he probably wouldn't of been as ok with everyone. To me Breaken seemed selfish and spoiled. If he couldn't handle it to it wasn't ment to be. But I get what the writer wanted to do and say. But im not going to say it didn't frustrate me. Also Sienne yes she turned out not to be their sister but all throughout the book they treated her like crap. I didnt understand it. I mean she done some things but all they did was talk down on her or didn't want anything to do with her. Annoying or not that's your sister (before the reveal) anyway apart from that ibreally liked this story. I love stories like this where everyone is open at being in a relationship and the families are ok with it and so on. The author did a great job. I hooe you enjoy it. And please as I always write this is my opinion and what I was personal thinking as I read the duet and what I felt on certain parts. Even as I voice it ger doesn't Take away how great the story was. And who know you might like it as it was and form your own opinion on it. Everyone has different opinions of likes ok. So please sit down take a load off get comfy and download or buy this duet.
I LOVED book 1, Wrapped in Winter, so I was delighted to dive straight into this sequel. It starts immediately where book 1 left off, with Winter making her way to Aspen to start a new life and career at a promoted position at the luxury hotel Chateaux Balthasar, where she’ll both work for and date the three hot owners. As well as getting to grips with her new role and relationships, Winter has to navigate politics, family drama, and business hurdles, in between acting out her wildest fantasies with her three kings …
Book one was HOT, but man, Deep in Winter seriously raised the steam levels to epic proportions and I was totally here for it!
There’s so much more to the story than the glorious steam though. Penny is a master at character development and we gain more insight into Winter and her men as they settle into their complex relationship. The guys have very different personalities, and Winter’s relationship with each of them is unique, but equally loving and mutually respectful. They really protect and cherish her, and although I loved each of them, Brecken stole my heart!
Winter is my girl! She’s bold, smart, loving, loyal and ambitious. And, more importantly, we share a mutual love and appreciation of cake!
We’re introduced to loads of great new characters including the fabulous Moms (whom I adored) and Balthazar who takes Winter under his wing and empowers her to achieve her dreams in the business world.
Found family is one of my favourite tropes, and Deep in Winter is a beautiful example of this. The way that the guys, their Moms and Balthazar warmly welcome Winter into their extended family, when it’s exactly what she needs was very touching.
Deep in Winter is a deliciously steamy tale of found family, ambition, love and passion and I loved every word. Grab yourself a fan though, as things are about to get hot!
The second in the Three Kings Duology is just as hot and spicy as the first one. While everything is dealt with and wrapped up in a neat bow I can't deny I'd have liked this to be a trilogy instead, I feel like there's still more to be explored here. This time we are in Aspen rather than Vail and get to meet more of the family with Balthasar and The Mom's. While an unconventional family, there's no denying the love between them all. The author always writes good characters, this is no exception. I wonder if there could be side series' with some of the other characters such as Winter's Vail friend's to get to know them a little more. Fast paced and fiery, I devoured this in just one day, it's too good to put down! Whatever comes next for this author - I know I want to be there for the ride!
I loved the first book in this series but I loved this second book even more.
I was gripped from the start and eager to learn more about each of the characters especially Brecken, as we didn’t get to know much about him in the first book.
I loved the setting of Aspen, I have never been skiing before but the way the author describes it all, and the hotel too. It sounds incredible I want to go!!
As in the first book there was plenty of spice in this one too. 🔥🔥 The bond between Winter, Luca, Rueben and Brecken was made even stronger in this book. I loved how it all turned out.
Really looking forward to reading more from this author.
Thank you to Love Book Tours and the author for having me on the tour and for my gifted ebook.
I’m in love! This is the perfect continuum for Wrapped in Winter and I couldn’t be happier about how everything turned out! I was expecting some problems with the relationship between the men and Winter, but their relationship is strong throughout and I love that all the characters are now familiar and the story continues straight from where Wrapped in Winter ended. I love the plot twists and I did not expect Balthazar’s involvement at all. But all in all, a perfect ending for this duet and I couldn’t be more excited to read the novella and see how everything is going

The story on Winter, Luca, Reuben and Brecken continues in Deep in Winter, Book two in the Three Kings Duet. I read this book in one sitting, I was so invested! Winter heads to Aspen to start her new role at Chateaux Balthasar. I loved the setting of the ski resort and I found it easy to imagine as I read. You get to see more of their family dynamic including meeting the boys parents and how the characters learn to navigate their new relationship. I really liked the fact each of the characters looked out for each other and made sure they were all comfortable and satisfied as things progressed. This book is a spicy page turner and perfect for the winter season. Thank you @pennyasherdarke and @lovebookstours for allowing me to review this book
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I thought that the second half of their story rounded things out well. They were still dealing with some issues, but they were doing it differently now. The obstacles were overcome together even with the four strong personalities. It is still steamy and has their friendship, turmoil, determination, support, understanding, happiness and love. I thought there was more to the characters to dive in to. For me, it brought things together better for an ending everyone deserved. There were a couple of misteps but overall a good duet
Ever since I put down the first book in the duet, I’ve wanted to read this and it did not disappoint. Steamy, full of drama, and more time with Winter and her three amazing men! We get to learn more about Brecken, who was more of a mystery in book one, and delve into the family drama behind the men. I love how Winter’s relationship is different with each of them, and how each one of them takes care of her in their own way. Sienna I could have done without, but every book needs a Sienna for some extra drama! I love characters that I love to hate! I definitely recommend and I look forward to more from this author!
This story continues on from Wrapped in Winter. I really enjoyed this second book as well since it follows more of Winter and her relationship with her men Luca, Roo and Brecken. They are so great together, and I loved how supportive their families are. I found this duet riveting, and so fun to read.
I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest review.
Yeah they were deep in winter all right..... This book was smutt lovers haven. There are more group activities in this one and the story had me interested. Sienna is a crazy b***h. The relationship between Winter and the men grows while also the business end of Cheateu B is growing. Sienna has a plot to get Bathlazar to sell. This book was wam bam thank you ma'am. I was hooked.
I loved the first book in this series and it is no suprise that I loved this one too, this second book is just as good , if not better than the first. It is well written with a compelling storyline and well developed characters that just got better with this book and I fell more in love with them. I was completely riveted and I couldn't put it down. I loved it
This book gave us the HEA we were all waiting for. I love how the author shows us that relationships are not all shunshines and rainbows how it shows us real struggles that they all have to face and overcome. This duet wad amazing with an amazing end and the spicy scenes😫 ufff don't get me started.
Perfection! Great plot, hot and spicy scenes, character development to die for. Loved how the business/work side of things was still a priority for Winter. She wanted her career and her men. Am about to reread it all again. This is my new favourite. Read it!
This was book 2 in this series and I loved it. It really enjoyed how the story followed on and how the characters developed.
The setting was fabulous. I can’t ski but I would love to be there. The hotel sounds amazing. Although, I’d only want to stay where Winter does…
The bond between Winter, Luca, Brocken and Reuben only strengthened and I’m glad they made their relationship work for them. I love how they roll with it and ensure they are all happy. I fell in love with them even more in this book. Nice amount of spice and a great end to the story. Couldn’t help but love the little disclosure near then end. Great writing and great story. I can’t wait for more by this author!
