The dead touch the world in many ways. In this short novel, a ghost haunts the riverfront where a cruel monster prowls. A museum security guard, a police officer, and two strange individuals from out of town must solve this mystery before the monster kills again. What is the price of their success?
Two different viewpoints, a museum security guard and a grizzled veteran escorting a fellow-- not exactly officer but close enough in their line of work-- combine in a fascinating story of discovery, wonder, and ordinary people dealing with the extraordinary. The writing is light and conversational. If you like urban fantasy a bit on the spooky side, give this a try!
An interesting book, with great characters. The two threads of the plot felt a little jarring at first, but made perfect sense when they came together.
