3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for GR.
This book was addictive in the best way, I was hooked from the start and managed to read it in it’s entirety in just a couple of hours. I LOVED this cast of characters especially Cas she’s a badass with the cheekiest humor. I think this was a great start to the series and I can’t wait to find out more about these characters. My only real complaint is I super dislike when authors break the fourth wall which does happen a couple of times in this book during the second half. But it wasn’t enough to make me dislike the book overall. Seriously can’t wait for the second book to come out especially after that Cliffhanger!
This book gives off HAVOC by C.M Stunich and Sicko by Amo Jones vibes so if you enjoyed either of those definitely give this book a read.

Okokok I can not give the author bigger praise for this spicy hardcore mafia romance book!! She absolutely smashed this genre and I’m gonna shout it to the world until everyone (who likes this genre) reads it!!!! 👏👏👏
Ok first off there are major TW she is good about posting them before you read so check them out to make sure you are comfortable!
This story starts off with a scene that totally immerses you into the MFC and her background story.. it’s brutal but brave the way she takes her power and self worth!!
Cas is the hero of her own story she doesn’t need anyone else to take control and be the warrior she has that covered. She trains with the hardest of them all and picks fights whenever she feels someone needs put in their place! She will never be weak or under someone else’s control again! You get that from the start… well this high spirited hardcore attitude catches the eye of not only Ash, but his friend AJ, then she can’t help but let Edward in, and then Emery has a soul she feels she understands so he joins too!
We follow these lust struck characters through rock shows, cemetery dates, and stake outs where things sometimes go horribly wrong.. usually thanks to Cas.
But the boys don’t mind, they see the deeper tortured side and want nothing more than to treat her well and like the goddess she is!
I have to say if you love females who take utter control of their sexuality then you will LOVE Cas as much as her boys do!
Now if you want a plot along with your seggsy scenes well this book has that too!! There is a mystery that keeps you wondering and on the edge of your seat until the VERY END! At the end it’s a whirlwind of WTH and oh gosh no! Stacey leaves you with a brutal cliffhanger but no doubt it’s going to make book two that much better!! All I have to say is she better keep my Edward safe 😅🙈🔥
So to end things if you are into Dark Romance with Mafia and a harem then run to your kindle NOW and download this book!

I loved this book, I absolutely cannot wait for the second book, she is such a strong FMC, I for sure thought I knew what was going to happen when she met ash and what you get is so much more than what I thought, the end leaves you on the edge of your seat, like you need to know if AJ, Edward, Ash, and Emory first find her or does she save herself, what will the guys do when they find out “Ashs fiancé” did this along with his nono I cannot wait for the revenge and I’m so here for everything that is coming in book 2

Dark, brutal and sad with a killer ending
A dark and heartbreaking read, the things done to Cas are unimaginable. Even though she is strong and has gained revenge on most of the men who hurt her, she still can't let others in. But then there is Ash, Edward, AJ and Emery, who slowly knock down her walls. The ending is a killer and left me so totally frustrated that I could've cheerfully thrown my kindle at the wall.

could be good but the writing is bad
I was excited but the book summary, but unfortunately this book reads more like a first draft. I think the author could definitely improve and it needs a lot more editing. The writing is stilted and has lots of errors, the dialogue is rushed and feels fake, overall the author rushes the plot too fast and the characters move along the story at warp speed. The writing feels flat and one dimensional.

Wow
This was amazing my only complaint is that the blurb literally gives away the ending so you kinda knew what was going to happen.
But other than that it was the best book I've read in absolutely ages!

This was actually decent for a mafia story. I love the slow building of the harem, though I will deduct points because Cas is just too over the top and I really hate cliffhangers.
