Good read, great pace, excellent chemistry between the two main characters. Great spice, too. Ash, new to their school in a classic enemies to lovers theme, was studying to be a journalist; she was also a musician. Ryder was the school power, an alpha jerk and a player, but also carried sensitivity of an artist (incognito). Contrary to the story’s premise of hate, they both caved to their attraction early on, and Ryder was devoted to Ash.

Some key plot points were incongruous: It was never explained why Ryder hated Ash. Given the title I would have expected more acrimony, for a longer period, and at least a reason why. Ryder was simply hating on the new girl. Also, the blackmail seemingly intended as a twist was unconvincing and seemed devised for conflict and angst's sake. If the “other man” could tell Ryder the secret, why couldn’t Ash? Ryder was depicted as having to feel guilt when he hadn't done anything, especially after Ash’s supposed transgression.

Entertaining though the storyline merited more intensity of hostility as seemingly intended. What should have been challenging in their relationship, the hate or conflict wasn’t. Good read, but some themes were at odds.

Excellent!!
This is such a great read and my first by M.Jameson,I think I have found a new author to love.
Ash and Ryder's steamy romance is enemies to lovers and the chemistry between them sizzles.
Ash is the new girl at the school and not intentionally catches the attention of Ryder, but not in a good way.
Ryder is the badboy and a total Alpha, mean and very possessive....But Ash is no push over she is the perfect match to Ryder. She stands up to him and won't take any of his crap,I love her fiesty attitude.
The push and pull and the banter between them is great to read and I really enjoyed it,I was thoroughly entertained from the beginning to the end of this story. The intrigue, tension, emotion and the twists and turns it was definately a wild ride.
I love M.Jameson's writing style and I will most certainly be looking into more of this author's books.
Fantastic story.

Ryder 🥵
>>> "That's a fucking pretty moan Kitten. Will your pussy purr for me just like that?" <<<

What a pos Coben (Ryder's dad) turned out to be. Totally caught me off guard that it was Porter who posted the video.

My only complaints were:
- I wish it was longer and had more detail.
- I could have done without Ryder's vengeful bj

Tragic events lead Ash (FMC) to arrive Rothwell Academy a new school where she instantly seems to get on the wrong side of Ryder the golden boy of school. What i loved most about this book is the banter that Ash & Ryder had with each other even if at times Ryder took things slightly overboard i thought. I liked Ash didnt stoop to his level at some of the stunts he pulled. A few great plot twists & turns as well as a dodgy as hell/sleazy father. Which all kept me engaged with this book from start to finish. A pretty great read

Enemies to Lovers ✔️
Dual POV ✔️
Contemporary Romance ✔️
HEA ✔️
In and After College ✔️
Jealous and Possessive H ✔️

TW: Although not graphic, there is mention of suicide/attempted suicide and tragic death in the family of the character/s. There is substance abuse and depression as well. But all in all, this only enhances the story

Holy Wow! This book was amazing. I wish it never ended, and I could go back and read it all over again. Ash is the kind of heroine I've been missing, she's independent and confident and she is no doormat. She doesn't just get carried away by wealth and status, she wants to make her own way in the world, and Ryder, a hole that he is at times, compliments that. They both have heartbreaking pasts/tragedies and I believe they were meant to find each other.

Where to begin? Firstly thank you to the author and Bookssprout for the ARC.
I love everything by M Jameson and this book was no exception! I couldn't put it down until I was through. Ryder and Ash were just gasoline together, chemistry off the charts. He was a perfect jealous/possessive alpha who loses his shit and can be an a-hole when he wants to. Honestly, I have been in a book rut lately so thank you M Jameson for changing that. I highly recommend it.

Another hot, spicy read from Jameson! 🌶

This is a quickie (more of a lengthy novella) but it was packed full of twists and turns and Ash & Ryder had some insane chemistry going on, which you can come to expect from this author. The characters emotions were palpable from lust to jealousy to hate to passion. They had really good banter too which only added to their chemistry 🔥

A fun, smutty read from Jameson. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Ash has just moved into town and is starting all over again at a new school. She's just trying to get by.. keep her head down, and get through all the new changes; but, she's caught the attention the town's bad boy Ryder. Ryder's a bit of a bully.. he's known for his bad boy ways, he's rude... does what he wants, and lives by his own rules. The new girl, Ash, seems to be a good source of entertainment and an easy victim... Only Ash, isn't going to let him walk all over her, and Ryder can't help but get a thrill from riding her.

Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope.. and Hate Games did not disappoint. I’m all about the angst and this book satisfied that need. It was such a good read. I couldn’t put it down. Ash and Ryder were spectacular together. Even when they hate it’s explosive.

M. Jameson is a new to me author, and I did enjoy Hate Games for the most part. Asher has to move in with her aunt in Rothwell, and she didn't want to stand out in her new school, but unfortunately, she caught the eye of Ryder, the bad boy who set out to make her life hell. He didn't count on her being a strong young woman who would go toe to toe with him, but it's what happened so his world is thrown into chaos. I never really understood his reasoning behind the hate so I found the bully intensity to be on the low side (and I live for that in my books). Things got dicey for me when he made a stupid a** decision so it was game over for me to ever see him through better eyes. At the end of the day, I still finished it in one day because I needed to see how it all panned out, so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I thought this was quite an entertaining romance. Asher has moved in with her aunt and cousin due to a tragedy in her family. At her new college, she encounters Ryder, the resident jock, playboy and "bad guy". Somehow they end up antagonizing each and sparks fly. These two slowly start to bond but there are external forces and secrets that drive them apart. They will need to work through everything to get to their HEA. I liked the characters and how sweet these two can be with each other, and the lengths that they go to protect their loved ones. This is the first novel I've read from M. Jameson but it won't be my last.

I have loved Jameson from her first book and this one didn’t change my feelings about her. Ash was a strong character from the start and didn’t let Ryder walk all over her or get away with anything. The chemistry between them was there from the start and it was a battle of wills that was either going to tear them apart or bring them together in a firestorm of steam and emotions. I can’t recommend this author or her stories enough! I loved reading the push and pull between Ash and Ryder and seeing how Ash was going to stand up to him and what he was going to do next. There is plenty of plot mixed in with the steam to keep you hooked in the story and wanting more.

Asher is the new girl in town when she moves in with her aunt, and she just wants to keep her head down and remain unnoticed. Ryder is the towns bad boy playboy, and he certainly notices Ash. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written story which has tension, emotions, jealousy, possessiveness, twists, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

In this book we meet Ash who has just moved into town and is new at school. Ash catches the attention of Ryder when she refuses to move out of his seat. Ryder's a bully he is known for his bad boy ways, he's rude and he does what he wants, and lives by his own rules. Ash seems like an easy victim but, she isn't going to let him walk all over her, and Ryder can't help but get a thrill from bullying her. I do enjoy a good bullying book because of the banter between the characters and this book did not disappoint.

I was on the fence for this book, but it surprised me! It was a pretty quick read, a stand-alone (with HEA) and had really good steam, romance and angst to keep a reader interested. I definitely liked the aspect of the two tortured souls finding each other in Ash and Ryder. Ash with her past trauma was an endearing characters especially as she broke down Ryder’s walls. The climax toward the end made the book just that much better- well worth the read!.

"See there kitten, Some girls know their place."

Wow, this story was really good. Ash and Ryder were so great together. Ryder is the typical player A-hole who screws girls without even knowing their names. Using them all for one thing. His pleasure. Until he meets Ash. She does not take his crap and the challenge has been accepted. This was such a great story and I can't wait to see the entire story of these two.

Enjoyed it

I liked this book a lot more than "Always You". I might try that one again later. This was about Ryder and Ash. After the death of her parents she moved in with her aunt and cousin. She received a scholarship for the elite school in town and Ryder was the king of the school.
I liked Ash's character and I even liked Ryder...he was not a nice person sometimes but the boy had issues.
Good read

I wish there was more ‘hate’ than ‘love’. I wish the h would’ve pushed back more and fought harder. I expected more from her. More fire, more passion, more badass, just needed so much more from her.
The H was written very well though, not disappointed in him.
The dad needed more of a role. I felt like he was just randomly thrown in. The twist was a let down for me.
Book ends on HEA.

Getting a full book for Asher and Ryder was everything I’d hoped it would be.

Enjoyed these characters and their individual stories, as well as their love story! I’m all about the angst and this book satisfied that need. It also had a good balance between character/story development, as well as, the love story and steamy times.

Ash and Ryder definitely butt heads in this story at the start, and soon develop feelings for one another. I thought the conflict between them could have had more development but I did like seeing the two of them together as they were each other's match.

Hate Games by M Jameson. Young adult bully romance with plenty of intense drama, torment, and heated chemistry. Asher is trying to lay low, and Ryder is not having it. One look is all it takes to throw these two into a tailspin and into each other’s orbit. I thought this book was entertaining. Absolutely brilliant read. Ryder and Asher had off the charts chemistry and their story is one I won't forget anytime soon. If you love a feisty heroine and a hero that's a possessive a-hole look no further.

This was explosive from start to finish. Ash and Ryder are both great characters. They have pain that they mask and it makes them a good balance for each other.
There are several amazing twists through out that kept me HOOKED until the end.

Ryder and Ash. The over privileged bad boy jock and the new to town common girl. They love to hate each other but as circumstances change will their perspective of each other change? This is a steamy must read that you don't want to miss out on!

It was almost a good story. There could have been a little more hate and a reason for the hate other than h was new to town. It lost me when the H gets a bj in front of the h after they have been together. I don't like OW/OM before the two mc's are together, and I hate it after.

I loved this book. I’m not usually into the enemies to lovers trope but I absolutely could not put this one down. Asher is used to being a wallflower but Ryder is not going to let that happen. All the angst, all the passion, it was amazing!
