What happens when you—accidentally—confess to—accidentally—hanging onto your V-card for far too long?
Your friends force you to join a dating app, of course.

What happens when you—accidentally—drink far too many margaritas on that date—and wake up next to a handsome stranger the next morning?

A lot.

This steamy, hilarious, romantic comedy is about two people with completely differing goals who fall head-over-heels in love with each other. Despite a wilting Ficus, a cactus gone rogue, too many flying wieners, and the itchiest hot dog costume ever made.

What a fun, hilarious, laugh out loud story!

I absolutely LOVED everything about Greyson and Ronnie. They are both totally relatable and the type of “people” I would definitely want to hang out with.

The relationship between the hero and heroine was sweet as well as fun and filled with slapstick humor all around them. This was a slow burn with several small fires that were extinguished along the way for reasons that shall not be spoiled. I'm definitely recommending this one to anyone looking for chaotic fun along with their romance.

Best Unlaid Plans🥰

Best Unlaid Plans is Ronnie’s story. She’s also the best friend to Dominic…which is where we meet her the first time. She’s funny and successful but unfortunately still single…with a secret🤫

One night, by unknown forces, Ronnie and Greyson meet. Both have differing goals to this relationship, which can be quite funny at times - especially with Ronnie’s circle of friends. I really enjoyed the story, especially the Wieners🤣🤣 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

So what do you do when you want to—uh, get rid of something? Something you still have because life got in the way. And you don’t want it. Well, you find a man to help, of course! But Greyson might not be that man. Not right now, anyway. Because he’s working on being a better man, and he’s trying so hard to prove that he can be. Ronnie is tempting him with every breath, but he’s got to be the man his toxic friends claim he can never ever become. And oh, how I disliked their callous dismissal of any attempts to change. But that’s okay, because both Greyson and Ronnie win in the end. I mean, someone might almost expire in the most hot-doggiest way possible, but darn it, they’re going to be okay!

This honestly is a little screwball, a little angsty, a bit emotional, and a whole lot blocking-of-something funny. Communication needs to be a priority, but the fears or worries or simply forgetting when with the person a heart wants so badly make it move down the list. When it all comes to a head, though, the grovel is scorching in a wholly unexpected way. And even he who doesn’t want Greyson in his life has to give some credit…and maybe some pants.

Enjoy the frustration, the confusions, the misdeeds of so many, and the grovels that accompany redemption because this is a fun read that will leave you wishing to see more of Daisy next!

Gah I can't say enough about how much I love reading this authors stories. If I need a pick me up, then I know I can count on her. This Rom-Com is fantastic as I always love when the supporting characters play a vital and huge part in a story. I mean Ronnie's neighbors are a hoot.

Not much steam as some of her other stories but that is all good in my book. I loved seeing these two maneuver through some tough situations and the family aspect was great and shows that family is not always blood related.

Just when you think a well laid out plan is solid, there is always a wrench that come out to out a kink in your plans. That was the case for Ronnie and Greyson. These 2 just needed to learn to communicate better but both had their own agenda, and it led to a complete disaster. But as in any good rom com, it has a happy ending. I didn't see that much of a happy ending happening for these 2 but I am great full for it.

It was a fun read that still had me wanting to yell at them but also fell in love with them along the way. So, if you ever need a good recommendation for a quick fun read, this author always delivers in her stories.

Looking for a funny, entertaining and just an all-around story that is a joy to read? I recommend grabbing Best Unlaid Plans. I could not put this one down. Can you imagine making a plan to lose your V-card in your mid-twenties? What about having a group of women who are cheering you on and making a list to help you do just that? Well, that is exactly what Ronnie, Veronica, did but what she wasn't expecting was finding a sexy man, Grayson, who was trying not to fall into bed with someone. The banter and sexual tension between these two made for some fun times but also frustrating ones for the characters. Grayson was known to be a player but he had reasons. When his friends made a bet with him that he couldn't just date a woman and not take her to bed, he said it would be easy. What he wasn't expecting was meeting Ronnie and falling for her. Secrets are found out, past heartaches are shared and love blooms.

Best Unlaid Plans by Jessa York is a contemporary romcom told in first person dual POV. The story follows the relationship between Veronica (aka Ronnie), a virgin in her late 20s on a mission to lose her V-card, and Greyson, a playboy whose friends bet him that he couldn’t last 30 days with a woman without having sex. These two meet through a dating app, and with opposite goals, hilarity ensues.

I enjoyed Ronnie and Greyson’s story. It was wacky, zany, and over-the-top ridiculous. Even more than I expected. But it was fun, and it made me laugh. If you need a quick, lighthearted read, and you enjoy wiener puns, then this is the book for you. Recommended for anyone looking for a romcom with a high dose of silliness.

This rom-com story follows Ronnie who is trying to lose her v-card and ladies man Greyson. These two both have secrets that unfold in the best way towards the end. A slow burn with some “almost” moments shares what it’s like to fall in love, even if that means wearing a hotdog in a bun costume in the sweltering heat!

This story definitely got my attention with the way it was written. I could easily relate to the character Ronnie with how her mind thinks/works. The very slow burn was hard for me at first, but the drama involved kept me captivated to finish! The last few chapters gave me the closure a lot of books don’t seem to give about the happy couple.

Great read by Jessa!

What a fun and funny story!

Lots of laugh out loud moments around Ronnie trying to get rid of her v-card while Greyson is trying to redeem himself of so many one night stands and win a bet with his buddies. Neither knows what the other is trying to do which creates so many crazy situations and misunderstandings.

When I started reading, I realized we already knew Sloane and Dominic from a previous book, Unexpectantly In Love , so it was great to get more about them as well. Plus there's so many other funny and sweet characters that add to this great story.

This is a fun story with a sassy heroine and a stubborn hero. We met Ronnie in Unexpectantly in Love and she is now at a place in her life where she wants to make some serious changes. She has some feisty neighbors plus her bestie's wife Sloane to help her. Greyson decided to make some changes in his own life and made a somewhat foolish bet with some friends about those changes. What happened set off a series of very funny events that had me laughing so hard.

Best Unlaid Plans is a fun, laugh out loud and a bit ridiculous read about two people going after two different things but end up in love instead. I really enjoyed Ronnie and Greyson. Ronnie tries to lose her V card and Greyson tries to prove he's not the player everyone claims him to be. I love their chemistry. The ridiculousness of this book was just too funny and over the top, especially that Weiner costume. Lots of Weiner references in this one lol fun read!

Ronnie and Greyson are both great people and their story is full of love and lighthearted moments. The friends add so much more depth to the story. It is easy to relate to the characters and fall in love with each and every one of them.

If you loved Sloane and Dominic you will love Ronnie and Greyson. I loved all of the laugh out loud moments, the “smexy” moments, the crazy but loving neighbors, and of course the ups and downs of this relationship. Especially the ending updates. Thanks for this sequel Jessa! Don’t worry if you haven’t read the first book, you can still love this story and then go back and read that one too.

What started out as Ronnie and Dominic using the other without their knowledge, ends up in love. Throw in some crazy and nosy neighbors and it ends in the best ever. The ending makes my heart happy. Jessa never lets me down.

I loved Ronnie and Greyson. They meet in a bar where Ronnie is out to lose something but before Greyson can make his move, his friends bet him he can’t just be friends with a woman before taking her to bed. These two have great chemistry but while Ronnie wants to move things along, Greyson keeps slowing things down. Add in Sloane (Unexpectedly in Love) and all the silver haired ladies giving their advice, a foam wiener costume causing all sorts of problems and you have yourself a light hearted read full of laughs and love. I received an ARC copy of this book.
