I’ve been waiting for this book ever since heartfelt lies I just adored Reed and we met Emerson at the end of that book and I was intrigued obviously there was tensions and the spark was ignited again this book was a slow burn we got to see where it started and how a miscommunication can cause so much devastation we see Reed for how great of a man he really is in every way I loved him so much Emerson was a strong heroine and her and reeds chemistry was off the charts so HOT🥵🥵🥵 the writing flowed and took us on a journey of love,laughter, and life in the best way I’m a fan Alexandra can’t wait to read the next book #cantwait

okay i lovedddddd this because the entire time i was on the edge of my seat waiting for em and reed to confess their obvious care for each other and explain the sequence of miscommunications but i didn’t expect the story at all and it was so intricate and perspective, especially relating to the characters in the last book.
the writing made me feel like i was truly in emerson’s and reed’s povs which is such an amazing talent.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book and it did not disappoint! I loved Reed just as much as I knew I would and Emerson stole my heart as well. The chemistry and sexual tension between these two was off the charts! 🔥 They were just meant to be and I’m so happy they found each other again. If you love second chance romance and protective, strong, sexy cowboys this book’s for you!

Emerson has had a hard life, she's been abused and neglected and does what it takes to survive. Reed, OMG this smexy rancher! is brokenhearted, and has 6 years of pent-up anger and hurt caused by Emerson, the one that got away.
This is the perfect book to read on cold winter nights.

This is the second book in this series, and this is Reed and Emerson’s story. Emerson has a tough upbringing, and when she walked away from Reed, she was punishing him for the sins of her ex. These two are destined to be soulmates, and Emerson realizes that she has made a mistake in giving up on them, but is it too late for another chance? This is a well written story which has tension, miscommunication, regrets, 2nd chances, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Everyone who suffered as bad and had so many traumas in their life as our heroine did deserves a second chance in life, i'm glad she found her happiness, she is a sweet soul.
