I didn’t intend to read this book in one sitting, but, once I started, I couldn’t stop. Rife with tension from the very first page, Big Sky Secrets has the kind of impeccable pacing that makes it impossible to look away from the page. The suspense seeps over into the romance and makes everything that much more enthralling.

So, a bit of a reunion romance trope in that Eric and Cassie were on the cusp of starting a relationship born out of friendship. One fateful kiss and things went catawampus — you know how that goes. 🙂 But now they are brought together under the most stressful of circumstances and the past has to stay in the past as they learn to trust and rely on each other so they can get to the truth…and protect Eric’s young (and surprise) son! Lots of romantical pressure to add additional strain to the situation.

And, oh, mercy — the plot twists!!! Gobsmacked. Gasping out loud. Whiplash inducing. All kinds of thrilling page-turning goodness.

This book was excellent and is the first I'd read by this author. I will be looking for more books by Amity Steffen.

Wow! Non-stop action from beginning to end! There are so many surprises and twists and turns; each page brought something new and unexpected!

I loved the characters! Cassie is amazing! She's strong, intuitive, and loving! Eric is a great dad and a protector.

The love story is sweet - friends to enemies to friends to lovers!

I really enjoyed the chemistry, emotions, and history in this one, between all of the characters but especially the main leads, and the angst involved in this second chance romance was especially and deliciously well written: a definite 4.5.
