This book has some interesting information, however, the writing style is rambling plus it jumps between ideas in a disorientating fashion.

The language and attitudes used regarding gender identity in this book are outdated and inappropriate.

Read this because it would be useful for most if not all of my uni modules this year.

These "Theatre &" books are a type of series where loads of different titles exist and from what I can tell they're really handy, they're short, to the point and great for academic work because they're full of quotes.

I can see myself referring to this in the future, however I would have liked a little bit more depth.

Eccelent book as a starting point in exploration of a performance art and cross over with other performing media. Really appreciate the consise and accesiable language.

This book stimulated me to return reading the academic performance and live art literature. Give me an opportunity to broaden my existing knowledge on the subject.

Some amazing talking points on the (seldom discussed) philosphical questions which arise regarding the theatre-body dynamic. Unfortunately, it has pieces written so dryly that they read like a telephone book.
